TRAITS: + usually calm but can be kinda hyped up in the cases of for example the atmosphere is tensing up or quiet. + quite shy with strangers at first. + does not talk that much. + observer. + quite an introvert.

PERSONALITY: Mark is a quiet person, pretty much bottling up what he feels inside him. However he use writing as a way to write out his feelings rather than talking it to someone else (maybe later he will develop any comfortable feeling to let out his feelings to any of the members? Hehe you decide!). He is such an observant guy, being the first to be able to detect any changes in the atmosphere or mood. Maybe that is the reason why many of the members are comfortable to tell him their problems and share feelings with him.

Off stage, Mark can be described as a sweet and pure person. He will not stop letting out soft smiles to anyone he sees and thus some may label him as the sweetest member of the group. Manners is important to him as he thinks without the others, he and the teamost would not go anywhere in the industry. Therefore he respects each and every person working with him, no matter what their roles are.

On stage however, Mark can turn into someone so chic, revealing his other side only on stage, exhibiting his role as the main rapper of the group. Having his interest in hip hop music, most people can see his chic and  tough act on stage.

BACKGROUND: Back in  2009, Mark's dad had to be transferred back to manage the branch of the company he was working at, and the family decided to move back to Seoul permanently. Only 16 at that time, Mark continued his high school years and graduated high school in an art school in Seoul. During his high school years, Mark had developed his passion towards dancing and music therefore he had the thought of pursuing into music, but not particularly into the entertainment industry. At that time, he just thought dancing as his way to express his creativity and passion. 

However this changed as one of his high schoolmate aka his best friend who joined various auditions in order to be a part of entertainment companies and wished to be an idol. It all started when he accompanied his friend to attend the audition at JYP entertainment as well as Big Hitt Entertainment. While he at JYP audition, he was asked to join and try his luck by one of the event officer. Just to try his luck (he thought), he auditioned and managed to end up as the second runner up of the competition and eventually became one of the new JYP trainee recruits.

After five years being in the big company, Mark realised that it might take longer for him to debut, and when one day an agent from Apricot Media saw him performing as a backup dancer for one of JYP's artists, he was offered to audition for Apricot Media, with a promise that he will get a chance to debut real soon if he managed to pass the audition. Without further hesitation, Mark auditioned and eventually got himself into Apricot Media.

DISLIKES: + green veggies, bcs he dislikes the color dark green. + insects bcs he hates bugs and thinks they will all harm him in every way. + being alone in the dark, bcs he can easily be influenced by scary ghost stories. + waking up to a loud noise or loud talking, therefore he can end up being so mad after waking up.

HOBBIES: writing songs, playing guitar, going for a walk in parks and riding.

HABITS: + whenever he's angry, he will usually end up locking himself in the bathroom to make him calm. + before he sleeps he usually will rub at the back of his ears until he falls asleep. + Mark usually bites his bottom lips whenever he's nervous. + bites his nails whenever he feels scared.

It's nice to meet you! tell us, how does it feel knowing that you're going to debut as a member of Blue Exit?
Frankly speaking, this is one of the best moments in my life. Being a singer is my dream since childhood, and to be honest I can't believe it's coming true! Haha and it's all thanks to the CEO-nim, management team, group members and everyone for making this true for all of us in Blue Exit.

Hmm, Interesting. Can you give us few words on your debut songs? Blue Exit's doing two, are we correct? can you tell us the meaning behind them both?                               Yes, it's true. We're debuting with two songs, 'Fly' and 'Toy'. Basically, 'Fly' is about a guy who is telling the girl how happy he is to spend his life with the girl. It's a sweet R&B song actually. Meanwhile for Toy, the lyrics are about a guy being the 'toy' to the girl, eventhough he knows the girl is just using him. He loves the girl like a fool, that's the interesting part of the song.

Wow, They sound amazing. Can you share a few words on how the recording process when about?
It was fun! Every members did our best and we all had fun eventhough it was our first time recording the songs. 

Wow, Sounds like hardwork. Now, the question everyone wants to know, Do you have an Ideal Type? If so, care to share which idol you feel fits that description?
Ideal type? I don't really have any specific ideal type, just that I love a girl that can understand me well, as much as how I would try to understand her. Sweet and pure is one of the best description of my ideal type? Haha and the closest idol to the description would be..Twice's Nayeon.

If the chance ever came up, We would like to know, Would you date a EXIT?
Of course, why not?

What would have been your dream if you never debuted?
I'd definitely end up in the field of dancing, might be pursuing dance and become a dance instructor? I just love music so much, I'd always seen myself involving around this field no matter what.

Wow, Really? sounds amazing. So, How close are you to the rest of Blue Exit members? Who are you closest too?
Every members in the group are close to each other, but for me, I'm kind of more comfortable to share things with Hiro-kun since we are in the same age, and we kind of having the same thoughts most of the time.

Is there a idol or Idol group that you look up to? What would be your reaction be if you ever met them?
I love BigBang sunbaenim! I have never met them, but if one day I would, I'd definitely cherish the moment for the rest of my life haha

BACKGROUND: Mark and the partner differs in many things. Mark is the quiet type so he always acts as the listener everytime the partner would tell him every little things he did on the day. Though Mark doesnt say much, but when he says something, he would make it so cheesy for the partner to adapt to.

Mark and the partner has their own park (the town park) where they would love to go, and that was the place where both of them confessed to each other back in their trainee days.

What would you like to see happen between the Blue Exit Members? 
Yes, maybe some conflicts in the group would be great? Things that they hide from the fans and media. Then slowly eveAthing is revealed and thus the group would have some problems and stuffs. Tahu made them realise that they need to work together, if they really wanna make things right. Things like that.

Also maybe some sub units? Like a rapper or two rappers with the main vocalist and such? Or collaboration with other groups? How about making them going to USA for a small showcase, then make them have a few days holidays there?
