YouTubes and MY take on idol dating
Last night I did some YouTube videos about my measly 4 CD Kpop collection and then a final thoughts video about the cd's, my passion for Bi (Rain) and finally a statement about letting your bias find love. The videos are in order below

Well, apparently the spirit was upon me for prophesy because I wake up this morning and
Baekhyun and Taeyeon is a real thing.
Lay is not amused!
Guys, I am telling you, I had no idea when I made this video that this was in the ether, but now I feel the need to solidify my postion on Idol relationships and our roles as fans.
1. Your idol bias is a human being before all else and as such, it is unrealistic to hold them to unhuman standards of chastity and morality. They are emotional, spiritual, physical beings that are vulnerable to heartbreak, sickness, depression, anger, doubt and fear. Their lives may be more public that yours or mine, but at the same time, they are people and they need to be able to have the same experiences that every other free human on this planet is allowed.
2. At what point will we allow our idols to grow up? Baekhyun is relatively young at 22 but Taeyeon is 25. She is more than old enough to make decisions about her life that have nothing to do with the girlish image fans and media have made for her. She is now an industry veteran and deserves the chance to excel in something other than entertainment. Let that woman live.
3. Don't take this the wrong way but...IT WILL NEVER BE YOU. What I mean is that you never stood a chance and you never will so why does it matter? How will these two dating keep you from having any experience you are not already having? Are you worried about your make believe world of fanfiction because in case you didn't know, it is fan FICTION. It's not real and while it would be an ideal reality, it is just...not.
4. Why would an idol date another idol? WHY THE HELL NOT!?! Think about it. Who else do they have access to? They are in and out of recording sessions, dance rehearsals, musical rehearsals, public appearances, performances, stages, concerts, fan-signings, CF filimings, drama filmings, variety shows and the like. So, when do they have time to meet a regular girl or guy and fall in love? These are beautiful young adults with hormones, desires and curiosities like the rest of us and just like most kids date within their high school or college, these idols date the people that they actually have a chance to spend time with, even if it is while waiting in the green room or in the shuttle van. This is the reality of idol life. And we should count our idols luck that they aren't having to experience the high pressure world of celebrity alone.
Okay. Now that you heard me, let me hear you by leaving a comment below.
