Born to a Father that had too many dreams and not enough ambition and a Mother that has drowned in the despondency of life, SoRa was solely independent growing up. She had a lot of love from her parents they just didn’t know how to handle her well along with their own relationship. Her childhood was hard and full of doctors’ visits and counseling thanks to her ADHD like behavior and the OCD tag she was labeled with. Her parents split up when she was five thanks to her Dad’s cheating ways and her Mother became like a ghost in her own home. She grew up handling things like paying bills and working before school and after. She learned to drive at thirteen and how to haggle prices down with the market ahjumma’s. She was a precocious child and has shown her love of dance from the age of three on up. Her Mother was always playing music in their home and SoRa grew up with a beat in her step. She would never hesitate to dance in front of any and every one with only the seldom bout of shyness here and there. She also has a half-sister (Hwang Byul) from her Mother’s first marriage.
Hwang Byul’s Father had died in an accident when she was six and her Mother wound up marrying his friend from school after a few years of him courting her. He had also been in love with her Mother back in school but Hwang Byul’s father was the one that had stolen her heart, and after his death Eun Hye (mom) was devastated and Min Jae (dad) took care of her and her daughter for a time and fell in love with her all over again and asked her to let him marry her so he could always take care of them. After years of saying no she finally gave in and they married. A year later they had So Ra. Hwang Byul was a harsh little girl and she was very selfish. She didn’t like that her Mother had been taken away by a new baby and she was not nice to So Ra after she turned five. They were always fighting and so were their parents. After three years Eun Hye found out Min Jae was cheating on her with another woman and she divorced him. Today, her Mom and Dad are more like friends thanks to her Mothers maturity shining through and letting go of any bad feelings so her daughter could have both parents in her life. Her Father is still chasing rainbows and hasn’t got his head out of the clouds and, though he tries to be a good father to her, So Ra is, to this day, a mama’s girl.

Who Are You Behind the Scenes?
✿ Personality:
SoRa is tempestuous and strong-willed to the point of stubborn. Her need to win in all things makes her a hard one to like and she has the tendency to be a sore loser when she doesn’t succeed in her endeavors. She is a sweet girl who loves many and will often initiate skin-ship. But just like her acceptance of all people she can hate as well. She has a flightily twist to her personality that can shift her emotional connections like the wind changes direction. She can like you one moment and deplore you the next.
She has a strong sense of pride and an even stronger attitude. She has the tendency to take things in a straightforward manner and she is a little gullible, but it makes her seem cute instead of boorish. One major flaw in her aspect is her temper. She heats up quick and can blow up from the smallest things; even one wrong word can set her off. When this happens she tends to punch first and talk later. And even though she has OCD it's more about touching things a certain amount of times or doing things in fives. She's not a germaphobe, she doesn't do organized and has the tendency to make the biggest messes. She also has a tendency of telling secrets people aught not know on variety programs and makes the girls get back at her later by eating ice cream in front of her. She cannot have ice cream or any dairy products because they make her super hyper so she has been banned from eating/drinking anything with milk in it by the company.
When she get's mad, irritated or upset she will scream and either hit, punch, scratch, bite or kick depending on if it is family. If it's not then she will go off by herself and punch the wall or a tree. She loses rational thought at times like these, but since she has matured she has gotten better at controlling herself. When she is happy or bored she bounces around because she can't sit still. When she is sad or depressed she goes off to her room or somewhere privet and pouts until she is ready to interact with people again. She hates apologizing as well, you really can't get her to say I'm sorry unless she knows she is at fault.

SoRa was a good student, making well above average in things like reading and writing. Math was always a problem for her though. She also got suspended many times in middle school for her unruly and disruptive behavior. Soon enough she was taking ballet classes because she loved to dance and sing. She was enrolled in English lessons at an institution, but dropped them years later as her life was becoming too difficult to handle every thing, so her pronunciation is off.
In high school she participated in the schools festival talent show and won a trip to Jeju.
She was scouted by a model company at the Apgujeong COEX mall just after graduation and worked there for only 3 months before a friend talked her into auditioning with her for Starship entertainment. Unfortunately her friend didn't make it past the customary two weeks of trainee hell and dropped out. Whereas SoRa stayed and worked her off to be accepted as an idol.

He can be a little obsessive about the proper way to act or how to behave, but he is considerate. He likes to laugh and have fun, sometimes at the expense of another. He is hard working and focuses on the details of his group. He is a good mother-like leader for them. He cares about others and tries to be kind and respectful but he is a little awkward at times. He doesn't like being talked down to by younger people and he can be a little timid with people that have stronger personalities. He listenes well and really takes advice to heart. But he can be majorly annoying and hard to like at times.

They met accidentally at SBS's Star Faceoff the Chuseok special for 2013.
SoRa was there with a few other trainees to watch their Seonbaes Sistar perform and Vixx was there as well. SoRa went backstage after the first half to visit Sistar with the others when she got distracted by some commotion or something. Anything could distract that girl at times. She wandered off and literally smacked right into N as he was leaving the restroom. He reached out to keep her steady and she kicked his shin and called him a ert because he was dressed like a girl for their Wonder Girls parody. He cussed her out if you can believe it and she ran off to find her members.
Later they met after the show was over while she was with the other trainees and he pointed at her and said "Oh the violent one"
The other members asked her how she met N from Vixx and she said straightforwardly "I thought he was a cross dressing and I kicked him."
Needless to say they and he never let her live that down. He exchanged numbers with the girls and would call and through them after that.
