Style— For Eunjae, her style is simply girly and boyish at the same time, she prefers jeans over skirts and dresses as she can comfortably move around, but it doesn't imply that she's a total anti of skirts and dresses, it's just that the number of them in her closet is shamelessly small as she has loads of jeans, she dislikes showing off her skin so shorts is just a no-no, unless it is compulsory such as stage outfits. A simple oversized t-shirt and yoga pants will be fine for Eunjae for practice so she can stretch more easily, or maybe a hoodie or sweater when the weather is cold. She only has two piercings, one on each ear, and she seldom wears any accessories except for her watch, again, she'll wear more if it's a must. Thick makeup matches well with Eunjae as her style isn't too extravagant and the makeup can be the spotlight of her appearance, applying crimson red lipstick is a must for her.

Personality—

Amiable - Eunjae may be the lead rapper, but surprisingly, she doesn't act like one offstage. Rappers give people impressions that they are boss and they are the ones who's in charge. However, Eunjae is nowhere near that. She has no say with almost everything, always going with the flow or majority, claiming that she's okay with anything.

Quiet - A plot twist is that Eunjae only speaks up when it is necessary, she hardly participates in group talks but it doesn't make her left out, the members and her both knows she's there listening, it's just that she prefers to stay silent and listen. Eunjae listens really carefully to what people says and answers their questions inside her mind without voicing them out. Though she may not talk much, a simple smile from her reassures everything, Eunjae prefers actions over words, if someone needs to be consoled, sh'll give them a great hug and healing smile rather than talking to them. But then she keeps a lot of things to herself, she rarely shares her thoughts with people, thinking that it might burden them, and little by little it accumulates inside Eunjae, burdening herself.

Preserved - Don't expect her to be first in action, for instance, it's highly unlikely for her to be the first to start a conversation, unless it's someone she knows really well, not that she doesn't want to, but she doesn't know how to, she worries about problems like asking something sensitive which will upset the person. Eunjae will always need someone to guide her in front, or at least she needs to know some of the other's experience in order to continue. She's afraid of the unknown that awaits her in the future, call her a coward but she'll still have no confidence in herself for succeeding.

Easily used by people - Due to her amiability and kindness, Eunjae is easily used by people who she's not close with. She doesn't know how to protect herself by saying no, thinking that turning people's requests down would not be nice, then she ends up being the puppet or the shield. Eunjae has a slow realization or absolutely no sense in defending herself, with her mind being too innocent and pure to have thoughts of people hurting her.

Obedient - Almost obeying to every order she recieves, she has been given the nickname 'Robot' becuase if her obedience in her early trainee period by one of the trainees then. Eunjae doesn't bother to process whether it is good or bad for her or the others and obeys straight away, this recurs back to where she has no idea about people's aim to hurt her. Some may think she's good and docile, but most just think it's all an act and doesn't think twice before doing anything.

Trustworthy - Secrets are safe with Eunjae as she hardly opens to talk, she doesn't spill a word no matter how hard people pester her. She's also very responisble, if she's given a task, she bounds to finsih it perfectly and makes sure that there is no mistake, a perfectionist maybe?

Mature and independent - Eunjae isn't someone to cry easily, although she doesn't think twice before doing things, her thoughts are actually quite manly and her members are shocked of her adult-like way of thinking. She's considerate, thoughtful and can think about a solution to a problem in a quick and calm way.

Background—
Who got Eunjae into music, specifically rapping was Missy Elliot, it was when she was on the streets and one of the shops was playing Missy Elliot's 'Work It'. She was stunned upon hearing how fast she could 'spit out' the words, but they were in a rhythm not a mess, and that she could hear the words clearly without any difficulties. Eunjae started to dig up more about rapping, she tried to rap and imitated the legendary female rapper, however, she couldn't even follow the beat as her tongue kept on getting twisted, no matter how hard she tried she just couldn't. Eunjae was on the verge of giving up until her saviour came by, it was her art teacher, wait wait wait, art teacher? Yes, her art teacher's husband, Mr. Han worked at SM Entertainment as a rap teacher, she started to pick up the skills of rapping with his help and soon, she could fluently rap and even make up a beat immediately and rap in freestyle.

Although she was one of Mr. Han's best students and Mr. Han treated her really well, it doesn't buy her a free ticket into SM, under his encouragement, Eunjae auditioned for SM in early 2011, however, there was no good news, she didn't get chosen, however, she did get on the waiting list, so she waited, listening to Mr. Han's advice. After the long wait, in July 2011 /lucky number 7/, she recieved a phonecall from Mr. Han that SM has eventually decided to let her join SM, Eunjae somehow thought Mr. Han did participate in the decision-making process and helped her.

Her family might just be the most supportive family anyone could have, her parents, who comes from the countryside and are traditional, seems to be way more enthusiastic than their daughter about her being idol. Her parents are really proud of Eunjae and supports her decision no matter what, ever since she told them she was accepted into SM, they boasted to everyone in the neighbourhood about the good news. The family was always divided inot two camps, her parents who overreact in anything and Eunjae, who is the total opposite.

As Eunjae has to leave her hometown Incheon for Seoul, she doesn't come home often, but luckily, Incheon is not that far from Seoul compared to other places and instead, her parent's visit her. They show up at the SM building like sasaeng fans, except they're ahjussi-and-ahjumma fans and Eunjae brings them inside. Her parents are very passionate while they bring a lot of food and presents not only for their precious daughter but also artists and trainees. They're very well-known in the company, soon even the security guard at the entrance recognizes them and lets them in eventually.

Interactions— As a hoobae, Eunjae couldn't do much about Hyuna's cold stares and criticism, but after her members talking to her about it, she decided to man-up and confront her. Whenever Hyuna would say something bad about IRIS!, Eunjae would stand up for her members with straightfoward words, getting Hyuna to hate her more and more.

Why they are rivals— Hyuna and Eunjae first met when 4minute and IRIS! was promoting at the same time, it all started when IRIS! beat 4minute and got the trophy, back in backstage Hyuna who was thought that IRIS! didn't deserve the trophy started criticizing them, and the one she criticized the most was Eunjae, saying that she has absolutely no talent in rapping and started to spread news that two-faced as she acted like two different persons onstage and offstage.

First Meeting— Chanyeol started to notice Eunjae after her frequent visits for Tao at their studio, he was actually puzzled to see such a girl visit Tao so many times, at first he thought that Eunjae was just a normal trainee around and just stopped by to say hello to Tao, but after so many times, he wondered about Eunjae and Tao's relationship. Chanyeol started to ask about Eunjae, finding that she was also a rapper, about to debut under their company in the new girlgroup. One day, when he saw Eunjae alone in the corridor who seemed to be waiting for someone, he went up to her and befriended her, wanting to know about her. She didn't seem to welcome him at first, but after asking for Tao's advice for how to get her to warm up to him, the two clicked really quick as they shared the same passion, soon they grew into good dfriends and the relationship blossomed.

Interactions— Eunjae and Chanyeol enjoyed to talking to each other, a lot, although Chanyeol did most of the talking. They don't do what normal couples do like go on a sweet date or do PDA wherever they wany and hold hands all day long, they can't, they're idols. But they squeezed time for each other, despite their frenzy and hectic schedule, the two would always find some time to spend with each other, for instance, they would spend the whole night talking with each other at the studio, or even just sitting there with their backs against each other's. Eunjae and Chanyeol were a couple who didn't need too much affection to show how much they love each other, a whisper of 'I love you', or just a simple peck would make their day. Not a lot of people knows about their relationship, of course EXO and IRIS! definitely knows about them, but to their managers, it was a huge surprise for them and they didn't believe at first as they haven't even seen them near each other. True, Eunjae and Chanyeol keeps it low, in the public, they are never each other, and when they are asked about sensitive questions in shows or interviews, they just smile and pass the mic on.

Trainee Life— As Eunjae was first placed in the waiting list but not accepted straight away, the trainees looked down upon her, saying that she got in just becuase she was lucky. Eunjae was isolated at first, no matter how hard she tried to prove herself that she did have the talent, the trainees still thinks that she was just lucky, even with teachers' compliments, they refused to recognize her talents. Eunjae didn't mind though, it's not like they bullied her, she just didn't have any friends, she talked to herself and was solo in the early stage of her training life. Then Tao came in, he befriended her, he treated her like a true friend and Eunjae was thankful of him, as Tao got close to Eunjae, more people started to befriend her as well, probably to get close to Tao who already debuted with EXO, she lived a training life with fake friends. Despite the people around her weren't sincere, it didn't affect Eunjae, her passion for rapping and being an idol grew as she put more and more effort in training, she didn't see training as a burden and was really optimistic about it, having no worries for being kicked out. Though Eunjae became a trainee right after she graduated high school, she still had the problem of juggling her studies and training, she hardly attended university lessons due her hectic training schedule, the company gave her a heads-up that if she wanted to pursue a better career as an idol, she would have to give up university sooner or later. The dilemma between university and her career bothered Eunjae a lot, during that time, her training slacked off, Mr. Han was aware of her situation and gave her a life lesson before SM could kick her out because of her bad performance. Unwillingly, Eunjae decided to go for her career and delayed her university studies. Her hard work paid off, Eunjae's rapping was praised by teachers more and more often, even the SM sunbaes have heard of her, soon she paved her way for an official member for IRIS!.
