formal - as above, nara hardly wears any dresses or skirts unless it's really necessary, she rather prefers wearing a suit or tuxedo over dresses and she's very serious about it.

personality :: Amiable, Nara almost doesn't have a say for anything, she's okay with everything, but when even though you know she isn't, she doesn't peep a sound and goes with the majority or the flow, Nara might not voice out her thoughts, but little by little, it accumulates inside her, and when it reaches the maximum, she breaks down, running away from everything and finds a place where she can calm herself down, and also to release the thoughts she kept inside her, she storms off quite a lot actually. Her amiability however, is what bad people make use of, her kindness, Nara's too kind to make any objections, people use her to do restricted and forbidden things, and Nara being Nara, reluctantly agrees to it and gets herself into trouble. Nara isn't a nagger herself, but when it comes to children and childcare or whatever that relates, she tends to nag and give long speeches about it, she really cares about children, Nara is active in charity events like help raising a child and the orphanage is one of the places she visits the most often. There isn't a big difference from how she acts around strangers or how she acts around poeple that she's close to, she may be a bit shy around strangers but Nara dislikes putting up a mask when she's with strangers, she acts like her real self and doesn't mind showing people the real Nara, or else how are people going to get to know her? She believes that being herself is the hardest thing, but she'll always try her best being herself. Nara doesn't like being bossed around, well, who does? She hates the fact that when she gets bossed around, she's like a slave that has to obey everything single rule and has no freedom, most of all, she hates having no freedom. Being someone preserved, Nara isn't someone to act first or bring up a topic, she needs someone to guide her or some motivation, she rather stays in an awkward silence than starting up a topic, which makes people have a bad impression of unattentive and unambitious on her, but once she starts talking, she's going to get so immersed you'll going to have a hard time stopping her. Nara is a typical Leo, she is a social butterfly and people tend to be attracted just by her aura, but she can sometimes also be too busy and unintentionally ignores people, but, Nara doesn't have the problem of being a loner, she pampers her friends really well by satisfying their wants and they are all really eager to saty by her side and be her friend. Nara, being a daughter of a prestigious family, people tend to hang around her a lot, and i when say people, i mean every kind of people, ANY KIND, but Nara doesn't know how to reject and defend herself when the bad ones are nearing, she has a slow realization or abosolutely no sense in reacting to defend herself, her mind is too pure and simple to think about things like people hurting her, e.t.c, she trusts people easily but is not aware of their real aim of befriending her. But the little innocent mind of hers never thinks about bad and unfortunate stuff, Nara always thinks on the happy side, she's just like another version of Chanyeol, a happy virus, but just more quiet and calm. She is more of a listener than a speaker, provided that she's not someone enterprising, but Nara makes a great listener, she sits there and listens, occassionally nodding just to signal you that she's not asleep and is still listening, her presence simply reassures you that someone is there for you and that she's got your back. Nara might not have the best advice for people, but the kind girl has the power, one single hug she gives you makes you refilled with energy. Nara isn't someone to bargain, she is quite obedient and does what she is told to straight away, some may think that she's a good and docile, but more thinks that she doesn't think twice before she does anything, and thinks that she's too easy to be controlled, they do have a point there, it is related to how Nara is always used as a shield by people. Due to her parents' strictness, her academic results weren't bad, in fact, Nara was just behind the top students, she's like a perfect daughter in everybody's eyes, obedient, gentle, has good results, feminine ( at least she acts feminine though she dislikes wearing dresses ), but to herself, she sometimes just like a puppet that has no soul, she hardly has feelings to rebel, but that's her nature and she naturally gives in to it, Nara just hates it sometimes, really hates it, and she really wants to change.

background :: Nara's family is actually quite prestigious, but her family stays low and humble. Her father works a high position for the governement and her mother was once the secretary of the president, she may have retired earlier but she is still well known, as for her brother, he has just graduated from university and has been active in diplomatic activites. The family may have been busy, but the four always manage to squeeze out some time for each other, SUnday is family day for them, no matter how tired or busy they are, they spend time with each other, sometimes watching a few movies at home with the biggest bucket of popcorn, or sometimes a picnic day at the country park. Actually, Nara doesn't mind having well known parents, they might be always away and sometimes the familt might recieve disturbance from paparazzi and the mass media, but Nara is willing to accept it, she's extremely thankful for her parents for satisfying her needs, they aren't really strict and gives her a lot of freedom, her brother also really nice to her, too.
Celine Dion got Nara into singing, she started singing in the shower, when her voice got recognized by her family lol she built confidence and started joining school competitions, at first she couldn't break out from the numerous competitors, but as she practiced, she improved, Nara kept on joining, she started to get recognition and her reputation increased, too. Sooner or later, she was one of the favourite singers in the school, her love of singing grew as well, but she didn't stop practicing, Narapracticed even more, the school started to enter her into inter-school competitions, soon Nara was quite famous among all student. There was this one competition where Nara represented her school, it was a singing battle between schools and it was in fact the biggest inter-school singing competion within the year, Nara was 17 then, she spent a lot of time practicing, trying to perfect her performance, finally she won by one point, beating the girl who was a trainee of an entertainment company and had won for four consecutive years, Nara was then the hot topic of students, everyone in every school talked about her, at first she thought it was because she defeated the undefeatable and won, the main reason was because of her prestigious background, as she rose to fame among students, her family background got digged up, then people started to suspect and doubt her real talents, did she win the competition with her own effort or by her family's power, Nara was immediately thrown into depths of hell and many people started to question her, she became from the popular one to the hated one, she came to realized that everyone surrounding her for years was just fake. Things faded out as time passed and she was a nobody again, but when Nara thought everything was over, someone contacted her, it was SM Entertainment, little did she know that there were agents from entertainment companies, watching the competition to cast people into their company. So Nara entered SM Entertainment without any audition, her performance clip was acknowledged and even praised by Lee Soo Man.
As Nara was a social butterfly, she was instantly popular in SM, this time, she knew was because of her family again, but Nara learnt to accept, if they befriend her because of her family, she'll prove it to them that herself is worth more befriending than just becuase of her background. Apart from getting her new nickname Lana, her being a newbie immediately beat a lot of trainees in singing, but the trainees just couldn't bring themselves to hate her, first because of her background and power yes again if you insist, second Nara was just too easygoing and kind to hate against, there were a few ones who disliked and was jealous of her because her singing, but Nara didn't mind, haters gonna hate, in fact she wasn't really perfect, she lacked behind a lot in dancing and rapping, the trainees did a lot to help her and she quickly improved, Nara may have been alble to catch up with their progress, but what she really lacked was the basics of dancing and rapping. Nowadays, after approximately two years of training, dancing and rapping is still her weakness compared to singing.

when they were still friends - Luhan and Nara have a lot in common, they are both the main vocalists in the group with EXO having Chen and Baekhyun and E-Rose having -idk who-, they exchange experiences in singing and when they talk, they somehow always forgets the time as they are so absorbed into talking to each other, the topics drifts from singing to their lives and so on. Nara really admires how Luhan is determined on his dream, he's Chinese and puporsely came to Korea just to be an idol, and vice versa, Luhan admires Nara's personality, she's really caring and her love for little kids really CUTE.
