How can EXO members turn their backs to Kris?

I have to admit that Chen is my bias, not Kris. So what I'm gonna to talk later is only from a kpop viewer, not a Exotic. Exotics may feel my words too harsh to Exo members, but this is what I'm thinking right now.

This is my first blog about Exo and my first one about any kpop idol as well (I've never written a blog about my bias Sulli & Chen before eventhough my bias Sulli often got bad comments about her attitude and behavior)

Firstly, about Kris's departure from Exo, it's quite shocking to me, indeed, because it's so sudden, and mysterious. When I first read the news, I thought that Kris wanted to out because he got offer from other company. But I don't think Kris is traitor at all. Because I am an employee of a company now (I know I'm too old to be a kpop fan). If your company won't recognize and eveluate your ability well, then why do you need to stay with them? Of course, you will think of moving on to another company eventhough you really love your colleagues. But who knows maybe you can get along well with your next colleagues. So there's no wrong for Kris to be out of SM Town.

Secondly, I feel so sorry and pity to Kris after hearing the news of Kris got heart problem. Every kpop fan knows that SM Town doesn't treat their artists well, that's why the artists always sue SM (DBSK, Shinwa, Hangeng). If Kris is the only aritst so far who sues SM, he may be wrong. But there are a lot of artists who sued SM before, then SM can't be right. Kris can no longer stay with Exo and SM if his salary does not deserve for his affort (time, health). His sickness can be worse if he keeps working with this crazy packed schedule.

Next, I am so DISappointed about exo members' reaction about Kris's leaving, especially Suho and Tao. Tao kept posting those harsh statuses about Kri's leaving. In the 1st status, he stated Kris as a traitor who ran away from SM successfully. Of coruse, Kris has to leave because he's living in a hell now. Moreover, Tao once said he wanted to be like Kris - a cool leader in his heart, then how could he say those words to Kris. They were very close before. About Suho, I know he is a leader who always in charge of public communication. He said at the back stage of M count down that Kris is irresponsible. Yes, Kris might be. But that never be a smart move. He just made the situation worse. The outsiders see Kris as a traitor and bastard (I read on my comment, they call Kris like that) I can't blame the oursiders because Suho - a close friend to Kris even said that to Kris. There are many many defensive comments about Suho and Tao's action - like they are forced to do that or staff posting those statuses. Sorry, that's just an excuse. For a leader, I expected Suho said like this " I dont know why Kris's leaving. I need a reason from you, Kris"

After this scandal, I think I have to change my mind about Exo members. If Exo members can't help Kris, then they just shut their mouths like Beakhuyn , Chen, Lay, Luhan and others. Don't behave like Suho and Tao.

I know Kris has a fault here. Kris's leaving affects badly about Exo image and their upcomming concert. Exo members turn to hate him because he almost ruined their careers.

To me, there is no best friend forever. People can be friended with others as long as their friends won't harm or threaten them. I strongly believe that because people can't keep being friend with whom hurts them. Even if they are made up later, there will be always a scar in their hearts. They won't treat that friend as wholeheartly as before.

so tell is kris already leaving exo because i really dont know. after knowing kris is maybe leaving i have been a mess please someone answer. and as for exo members im sure they are a really big mess and is really bad that some people are keep saying that they are bad members that turn their baks at kris. the people that they are not in their place dont know how this this feel so its better if they shut up.

There is rumor said that their phone is not in their hand. Everything what had happened in social network is under SM staff.

Idk, y'know rumor is everywhere.

But, I completely agreed with your post. They are working together, after all. It's hard to say they are bonding together. Even they are in one group, they still competitive with each other to be better than anyone else. And we can see the other side of true identity in them when the one of them is in trouble. Maybe, we as fans just can suppprting them.

Can you imagine being in a group project, only for a member to leave you high and dry a few days before, making you have to redo everything that you've worked on? That is what EXO is feeling. They are stressed, they are working their asses off, and they've lost a friend, who didn't tell them anything about the lawsuit or how he was feeling. So of course some are going to be pissed off and upset about things.

And could you blame Joonmyun for saying what he did. He's given 9+ years of his life to being a performer, 7+ years training, 2+ years as an idol, so he's obviously given almost half of his life to doing what he loves and for this to happen 2 years in? It is not good, especially since most groups don't have people leaving until their 4th year or so.

Everyone was being overworked, but Kris was the only one that left. I'm not saying he didn't have his reasons, but that doesn't mean EXO should be blamed because they feel hurt, upset, and angry for what is going on with Kris. To them, Kris is in China doing who knows what, while they are working their asses off, trying to deal with everything, while being able to keep the concert going. There is no reason to be disappointed in them.

You also have to look at this from EXO's side as well. They obviously didn't know that Kris was going to file a lawsuit and they obviously weren't expecting to see it thrown around the media before Kris spoke to them. Kris didn't speak to the members about what he was going to do and the members found out in the worst way possible and with how hush-hush Kris has been and with them being unable to contact each other, whether it's by SM or Kris himself, it's probably likely that Kris' lawyers have told him to keep away from doing things like calling them and whatnot, the rest of EXO are confused and mad and angry, and they have every right to be. Kris dropped a bombshell on them 10 days before their first concert and during promotions, and with everyone all excited to comeback and have that concert, working towards a common goal, it literally blindsided them to hear Kris do this. And with Kris in China, EXO has to continue on as an eleven member group, filling the hole that Kris has left. They have to redo all of their choreography and have to redo everything. Instead of doing what they were supposed to be doing when it comes to concert preparations, they have to redo everything and in such a short amount of time too. They are most likely working very long, tiring hours, and with some of the members hurt and sick, they are obviously all stressed and tensions are running high.

There have been no confirmation about Kris' supposed heart problems, so you have to take that with a grain of salt. And if you look at the lawsuit he is making, nowhere does it say that he's making it for health reasons. If he's unhealthy, that would be one of the best ways to get out of SM and renegotiate for better terms if that's what he wanted to do, but he's not using that at all, so the validity of him being sick is probably low and untrue, another rumor used to make sense of this mess.

Tao is obviously hurt and he's always been a bit dramatic and for him to find out Kris is leaving the company this way, for Kris to not tell them what he was going to do, it almost seems like it is desertion coming from Kris' side. They've all worked towards a common goal and with Tao believing that he and Kris were really close, it's not a wonder to why Tao was so upset to post what he's been posting. Tao's an absolute mess right now, crying and screaming and singing sad songs and just posting stuff on his SNS account because he doesn't know how to deal, so you can't really be mad at someone that is hurting as much as him.
