Personality Traits : Outgoing, Stubborn, Hard-working, Manipulative, Loyal, Selfish, Ambitious, Egotistical

Personality: On first glance, Sooyoung is the epitome of what you'd want in a trainee. To say she's hard working is an understatement. Sooyoung tends to go above and beyond, training for hours upon hours, just to make sure she's where she thinks she needs to be. Ever since the accident, she's determined even more to return to her former glory. Sooyoung is outgoing, and it's hard not to like her, at first. She is increasingly social and with that comes an ability to be very loyal to those she's close to. However, she only surrounds herself with those she considers on the same level as her, and she can be incredibly judgmental in picking her friends. Once she makes a friend though, it's incredibly hard to get her to break the trust of them. She's ambitious to a fault. All of her life has been pointed in one very set direction, and every decision she makes is based on that ambition. She's sacrificed a lot over the twenty three years of her life for that ambition, and she's not afraid to keep doing it, either.

Although Sooyoung has some very good qualities, those tend to get pushed aside by her more negative traits. Sooyoung is especially stubborn, and doesn't take no for an answer when she wants something. She will push and pull and throw a fit until it's hers, no matter what it is. She's selfish and needy and always requires vast amounts of attention. This is due to growing up with an increased amount of attention that was given to her in an attempt to appease her as a child. If she's not the center of attention, she tends to get manipulative. She is out to be the best and with the most attention, and if she has to bend a few rules along the way, so be it. She's not scared of consequence and she'll do anything to achieve whatever it is she puts her mind to. On top of it all, Sooyoung has quite the ego. Given that she spent several years in another country training, was injured and has come back to nearly the same level of training, she likes to rub it in other people's faces. She immensely enjoys it when people up to her, and she is definitely someone who can't say no to a bribe.

All of that aside, Sooyoung is a very challenging person to work with in regards to training. She doesn't take criticism well, and she tends to think she knows more about anything that has to do with dance due to her background. She absolutely hates when people interrupt her dancing sessions and she has a very quick temper. She's not afraid to yell or curse to get what she wants, which is usually for someone to work harder. She expects a great deal out of people, though she isn't willing to give others as much.

Background: Sooyung was born to Lim Jonghyun and Naeun, a composer and professional dancer, respectively. While they were home, they traveled a lot, and Sooyoung was more or less raised by a team of nannies who were there to grant her every whim. Her parents were increasingly strict when home, and from an early age Sooyoung learned she actually preferred when they were gone. Her nannies gave her everything she needed, whether it was things she wanted or love. She didn't dislike her parents, but she wasn't fond of them, to be quiet honest, and as she got older, she pushed them away and shut them out of her life, especially when her mother caught wind of her aspirations and started trying to push Sooyoung in certain directions.

Sooyoung began ballet and tap at the age of three, when one of her nannies brought her to her part time job as a teacher. Even at that young age, she showed a proclivity for the art, and by the age of five, had decided she wanted to be a prima ballerina. At the age of seven, she started hip hop, traditional ballroom and modern dance. At nine, she started pop and lock, and showed a prevalent interest in it and hip hop styled dancing, and her career focus changed. At ten, she started vocal lessons, as well, since her mother had learned of her talents and wanted to multi-round her. Sooyoung's one true love remained dancing, even though she enjoyed singing quiet a bit.

At the age of fourteen, the Lim's decided to do something drastic. They enrolled Sooyoung in Brent Street in Sydney, Australia, after she passed a rigorous audition process. She took a one way flight to Sydney and moved into the dorms there to begin the training she would receive for all of her high school years. She left behind everything she knew, but it instilled in her a new ambition. She could become anything she wanted, and with the training she would receive at Brent Street, she had a very good chance at being scouted for an entertainment company in Seoul. High school was typical as any other. Sooyoung had her ups and down, and while she excelled in the preforming aspects of her schooling, the academics of it were not the best. Though she often struggled, especially in the beginning as she was still learning English, Sooyoung stuck to her guns and worked harder. By the end of her high school days, she had managed to become completely fluent in English, and learn basic Japanese, as well, since the school would not allow her to take Korean as her other language.

After graduating, Sooyoung returned to Seoul. She spent a year getting reacquainted to speaking Korean full time, and now that her mother had retired from dancing and instructing, getting used to her mother being around all the time. Life wasn't the easiest for that year, but it was all worth it in the end when she was scouted by an agency looking to make her a trainee.

Trainee life : Sooyoung was nineteen when she was scouted from a video of preforming with her school by Jungle Entertainment. Though she was recruited merely for her dancing prowess, Jungle Ent was surprised to learn of her vocal abilities, as well. They liked that she was multi-lingual, and put her on a training regimen that would have her debuting in a year or less. However, Sooyoung was in a car accident eight months into training, and her ability to debut was removed when the wreck caused her severe damage to her right leg and back. She spent a year and four months in rehabilitation, before beginning to finally dance again. Sooyoung never let it get to her, though. She spent another 2 years training hard, and making sure she was back to the level she had been before the car accident. And just when she thought Jungle Ent was ready to debut her as a solo artist, she learned of Royal League. She didn't like it in the least, but she's determined to debut, even if it is in a group instead of solo.

Trainee years: Four years and seven months

Love Rival : Shim Changmin

Group : TVXQ

Age : 26

Personality: Shim Changmin is a very well-known name in South Korea. He's known for being kind and caring, outgoing and thoughtful. Changmin is one of those guys who will do anything to make everyone around him happy, and leave nothing for himself. However, that's not to say that he's the epitome of perfection. Changmin grew up in the limelight, and he's not a fan of having the public's eye on his personal life. He's a poster child for compassion, choosing to put his looks and caring attitude towards those who need him. However, he absolutely hates being interrupted when he's with his family, and while he won't openly throw you out, he will ask you to nicely leave. He has a quiet sort of temper, and he can hold grudges forever. Generally, it takes a lot to work him up, as he'd rather avoid confrontation and anything that can make him look bad in the public's eye. The easiest way to upset Changmin is to say something about his family. He's very overprotective of those he cares for, and he won't hesitate to say so.

How you met: TVXQ is set to release their new single, and Sooyoung's choreography has been chosen for the song. She initially meets Changmin in a one on one lesson to teach him the basis of the dance, already riding him hard when he messes up. The dance isn't easy and they spend three hours working on it, before she gives up and tells him they'll go over more at the next practice.

How you guys interact around each other:
Around Him: At first, Sooyoung treats Changmin just like she does everyone else. She keeps him at arms length and, while she thrives in the attention he gives her, she pushes him hard when training and teaching, and doesn't give in to the "good guy act" that he gives her. After a few practices, and Changmin not pushing her away, she decides that maybe he's not so bad. They begin hanging out after practices, and eventually, Sooyoung gets a bit starstruck. He's gorgeous, accomplished and everything she wants to be, and that leads to an eventual crush.

Around Her: Changmin is his normal self. He's easy going and gives her what she wants, though he's not exactly a fan of her in the beginning. She's a pain in his , and she doesn't let him get away with anything. However, he keeps up his good attitude and tries to see the good in her. He notes that she's incredibly outgoing, and while she overworks him, she has a good reason behind it. He invites her out and they start to hang out. The more he gets to know her, the more he begins to see her like one of his little sisters. He grows overprotective of her, and starts making sure she's being taken care of, but he never sees her in a romantic light.

Backup Love Rival : Yang Junhyung
