Yoo Daeun was born to Yoo Jongyeong and Choi Namin. As their third child, she was younger than her brothers by five years and two years, respectively. Yeongjin, as five years older, never really paid Daeun much heed as young children. Changhyun, though, as only two years older, saw the baby as his new play toy, and through this, they bonded. Daeun followed Changhyun everywhere, and when he started developing ideals for his life, Daeun was right there with him. Changhyun was given the opportunity to do child acting, and after seeing how badly Daeun wanted to be like him, the Yoo's put her into acting 'classes' like her brother. From the age of four, Daeun knew she wanted to be in show business. Dancing, acting, singing, she'd take it in whatever form it came in. She developed a natural talent for singing as she got older, which was to be expected when both of her brothers had voices of angels too. By the time Daeun was eight, Changhyun had decided he wanted to be a singer instead of an actor, and was well on his way to possibly becoming that. It wasn't until a few years later that he was accepted by an entertainment company as a trainee, but he was the first in the family.

Next was Yeongjin. He was accepted to a different company two years later. Around the same time, Changhyun was preparing to debut with his group, and honestly, Daeun was a little jealous. Both of her brothers were getting to live their dreams. Daeun was now twelve, and she wanted more than anything to be like her big brothers, but even though she showed the gifts, her parents were less willing to let her audition, so Daeun focused herself on bettering herself. She joined multiple after school activities like music club and theater to try to hone her skills so that when the time came, she would be ready. She preformed well in school, even though she had never been a very big fan of it. She excelled at sciences, and had to force herself to work harder when it came to mathematics. She wanted to have an excellent record when she applied for high schools. By the time she was fifteen, Daeun already knew which school she wanted to attend- Hwan Arts High School. It's where all the best of the best went to hone themselves for a future of idolism. Her brother Yeongjin had even gone to this high school.

Even though she was accepted into Hwan Arts High School, Daeun realized that even potential had to be severely focused in a school like this to be seen as something more. Changhyun was doing well with his group, and even Yeongjin debuted the fall of her first year. Once more, she was known as Epsilon and Ricky's little sister, and not for her own talents, but she didn't mind. Her brothers were famous, but they never let it go to their heads, and she wouldn't let the status that came with being their sibling change her outlook on life, either. Now she was getting ready for her second year at Hwan Arts High School, and she was hoping this year might be the one where she can be noticed for what she is.

The first thing you will notice about Yoo Daeun is that she is very bright and bubbly. She is increasingly kind and thoughtful, and tends to put other's needs above her own. She doesn't care what background you come from or where you've been in your past, so long as you are willing to be good, then good is what you will get in return. Daeun lives strictly by the treat others as you want to be treated saying. She is confident and outgoing, and enjoys making friends from every background and walk of life. She's relatively easy going and laid back, with a decent sense of humor. She doesn't mind practical jokes, and will laugh if they're pulled on her, but she can get protective of those she cares about.

While people often notice the positive traits of Daeun, she has just as many negative traits, they're just better hidden. She can be increasingly forgetful, and often ends up doing things more than once because she can't remember if she did it or not. Along with this, she gets impatient relatively easy, but it's only when it comes to herself. She hates that she can't remember things, and she gets frustrated with herself. Beyond that, she can be increasingly nosy about what other people are doing, and yet she likes to be secretive about her own future. On top of it all, if you ever look in her locker or visit her home, you'll realize that while she looks well put together on the outside, she's really a mess and stresses out easily. She's a worrier, and tends to over-exaggerate situations in her own head until she's freaked herself out.

When training, Daeun becomes a completely different person. Yes, she is still all of the above, but she becomes other things, as well. If you try to talk to her about her talents, she can be rather humble. She never thinks she's as good as she is, and she will definitely never admit to it. She always thinks there's something she can improve on, and because of this, she becomes increasingly hard working. However, along with becoming more hard working, she also becomes pessimistic when it comes to herself. She tends to think she's going nowhere due to becoming a bit more clumsy over the years due to puberty, and she's too stubborn to be told anything else.
 

PERSONALITY. Minseok is a kind and caring guy who likes to make others laugh and smile. He could easily pass for a class clown if it wasn't for his passion and skill in soccer. You see, he lives, breathes, and would probably eat soccer, if he could. He's extremely good, and there have already been rumors about the national team scouting him. Minseok doesn't really mind the spotlight, but he can be a quiet guy. He doesn't like making his feelings know, and is a serial 'bottler' of his emotions. He feels it's better to always have a smile and be hurting inside than to let the world think you are weak.

MEETING. The first time Daeun saw Minseok, it was because she had been drug by one of her friends to watch the soccer team play. The forward was a gorgeous man that she later learned was named Kim Minseok, and a second year. Of course, she herself was only a first year, so it wasn't surprising they hadn't met. However, they didn't meet that day. Their first actual meeting came one day towards the middle of the school year, when Minseok approached her after finally tracking down who the 'gorgeous girl watching that game' was. It was only a five minute long conversation between lunch period and the return to classes, but by the end of it, Daeun could easily say she'd count him a friend. They got together after school that day and went for their first 'outing' to get bubble tea. They've been friends ever since.

INTERACTIONS: Minseok thinks Daeun is gorgeous, and finds himself instantly attracted to her upon meeting during her first year. Regardless of the fact that he's a year older, he finds himself befriending her just so he can see her more. Daeun is a bit oblivious to his feelings, but has also taken note of how cute and sweet he is. She often makes little comments here or there about 'whoever you end up with is going to be one lucky girl.' They see each other outside of school occasionally, usually going for coffee or bubble tea.
