[the big hearted queen]
She exhibit impeccable bravery, superiority and sovereignty. She is expected to achieve extraordinary feats. She has strength of character to take command of any situation and her presence commands respect and attention.And just like a queen, she has a big heart, she is generous and sensitive to others' feelings. She innately want to lead and be a master, but for those she adores and reveres, she is ready to become slaves. She is very well organized and do things just the way they ought to be done, but it is also true that she is much better at organizing and systematizing others' lives than her own.This traits of hers sometimes borders on bossiness. But all this effort to improve another person's life comes with an unnatural amount of warmth, kindly encouragement and a promise for help without having to ask, whenever it is needed.

[the pigheaded pioneer]
She is probably the most strong kind of person. Now you can read that as pigheaded and rebellious, but that’s your wish (that’s not to say that being either of these is always a wrong thing). And as is the way of the world, the distinctive and strong in character will be at least one in a group. Now things are not all rosy and jolly for her. If she has to describe herself in the least possible number of words, she won’t classify herself as a pioneer, she will call herself a walking bag of contradictions, coz that’s what she most definitely is. She does pioneering work, she go against the tide and try to change how the society thinks about something, yet she herself find it very hard to change her mind on something once she has made up a notion. So this difficulty in modifying herself and her beliefs becomes more and more noticeable and prominent with maturity, she might need a lot of help and encouragement in coming up to prevalent times and practices.

Another important good thing about her is her cool temperament and emotional control, you could not find a person better at taking affirmative action in practically testing circumstances. she is really understanding and do not find it very difficult to suffer contravenes of fellows. That is why she makes such a good friend and family member. Another enigmatic aspect of her persona is her glamorous yet distant kind of vibe in relationships. She likes her freedom and don't like to be confined yet is a romantic and sweet person. She may seem to be a little too introvert and aloof of the world, but that’s normal, in fact, that’s her thing! In friendship, she is very generous and caring, but may also get a little carried away and showers her affections on the wrong person.The same happens in case of love interests, but if the other person is the right one, he will find no derth of kindness and generousity.

She has amazing frankness and practicality. Generally people who call themselves practical tend to be polite in the more diplomatic sense, but for her, the practicality seems to stem from the frankness. Actually, if you cut open her [I mean psychologically], you will find that what drives her most is her broad outlook, and her quick positive grasping power of almost any kind of problem. But mind you, the one inclined to get the whole larger picture is liable to miss out on the minor details.

She always thirst for challenged in life, and most of the time is restlessly looking for one. Another thing that makes her restless is the endless pursuit of something better. One moment, she might be completely happy with what she's got for herself and the very next moment, she wish she could has had better.

One very important thing her loved ones need to understand here is that she loves her freedom too much. And another aspect of this need for freedom is fear of closed spaces, in the psychological sense. Excessive possessiveness may take it's toll on her. She is in need to be tamed.

Her stage presence and charisma are amazing. You know when she's on stage. You can feel the fierceness with one glance. She’s just someone you don’t want to mess with. Though she seems like an extremely cool female, she is actually genuinely soft and sensitive on the inside. She adores affection from the other members, and is unbelievably cute and childish at times when expressing her sentiments, trying to kiss her members or hugging them from fronts. Her social ineptitude does make her slightly awkward and shy, however netizens often see this as her charisma. As the oldest in the group she has a big possibilities as a leader but her personality is quite lacking in that sense, or is she okae?

[Offstage]
Upon first glance, she presents herself with upturning charisma and a cool, unapproachable aura. That may be the case when we’re talking about normal civilians being around her. When she is with her close friends however, it turns out that she is not entirely scary and intimidating, but in fact just a little bit scary and intimidating.

[1994]
Her mother had lived in the USA since birth while her father was from Gwangju. Her father was a pilot and met her mother during his duty. Janet was the youngest child in the Park family. She has 2 brothers named Park Jaebeom or better known as Jay and Park Jaehwan or better known as Jehan. Jay is 7 years older than her and Jehan is 4 years older than her. She was born in Edmonds, Washington, in the Seattle area.

[2002]
Janet showed great interest in hip hop music and breakdancing at a young age, alongside with her brother, Jay. To be honest she was influenced by him. While for Jehan, he didn't like the music so much. He likes all kind of machines and technology, his dream was to be a pilot like his father.

[2005]
Janet attended Edmonds Woodway Elementary High School, where she spent most of her break and lunch times practicing dance with group of friends instead of focusing on her school-work. Besides listening to hip hop and rap music., she spent time learning and choreographing moves herself, she even tried writing songs although it wasn't something that she can be proud of. 

[2007]
The Park siblings early teenage life was full of freedom and fun. Their parent is open mided and won't fuss up about small things. They treat them like a friends but still have their limit. Janet was closer to Jay rather than Jehan..until Jay had to leave to Korea after he was accepted by JYP. She was happy that her brother got accepted but she knew that she gonna be lonely without him.

[2008]
Janet became one of the first members of newly founded Seattle-based b-girl crew, Art of Girls (AOG). The groups are made up by her and her group of friends that had been together since their middle high school. The group consist of seven girls, only 2 of the members are asian, Janet and Meili, a girl with Chinese ethnicity.

[2009]
Her mother, seeing how her daughter spent more time breakdancing than studying, suggested that she should audition. Thinking about what her mother told her, Korea-based JYP Entertainment came into her mind. Her brother was debuted under the same company a year before. She told her family about her decision and they encouraged her more. Later that year a tragedy happened to Jay, because of some unfavorable incident he quited from 2PM and went back to Seatles. Janet didn't continue with her plan to audition that year.

[2010]
Honestly, Janet felt like it's better if she auditioned at a different company but Jay pushed her toward JYP. He said he was wrong too and he said JYP is a good company to join. She then later tried for JYP with more confident, she got accepted and that company brought her to Korea in February 2010, to receive further training in dancing, singing, and the Korean language. At the earlier year, she hardly converse with all the Korean people she met, due to not being able to speak the language very well. She also didn't know what to eat, because she was use to the western food. She didn't tell anyone about Jay being her brother but things wasn't always that smooth. Some trainees talk about about Jay infront of her, she didn't know, how can people being so hateful. She cried everyday for the first two weeks she was in Korea, but decided to work hard even though she wanted to go back home, to not disappoint her parents, Jehan and especially Jay. Year by year she had improved her korean language, singing and dancing skills. She even came in 1st place at the 5th JYP Best Dancer Contest. Considered as one of JYP's favorite trainee. She was trained for nearly 4 years.

» PERSONALITY

Describing his personality could be the easiest thing to do... or it could be the hardest thing to do. He has ‘reversal charms’. Even though it feels like he is chic, but his personality is opposite. Because he talks a lot, it’s easy to get close to him. If someone is ‘down’, it ‘goes up’ right away. It’s good when he's together there.

Like so, he is very two-faced and extremely contradicting. For that reason, he was loved by many of his seniors. However, after around the time he debuted as an idol, his inner personality changed drastically though he learned to keep it to himself. He is often sarcastic though is sly about, leaving the others to think about whether the boy had complimented them or called them a stupid . He is smart and knows how to use his intelligence well, he knows how to use words to his advantage to assist him whenever he is dealing with people, especially women. He could seriously tell someone to go jump off a cliff and they would do it because he would say all the great stuff about it as possible to convince them with his boyish charm and smile, along with his soft and sweet melodic voice. He loves messing with people and playing with their minds and rest assured, he is very good at it.

» INTERACTIONS

It’s no secret that, as the two english talker trainees of JYP, Janet and Mark have a very special relationship. Their experiences training together at a place in a language they barely speak and understand have allowed a special bond to form between them, and it’s not something Janet really has with any other trainee in JYP. Their relationship is very much like that of two best friends: Mark’s a very hard worker, but he also has a very playful, open attitude that works well with Janet’s cheerful but more reserved manner. It’s very possible that neither of them would appear to be as much at ease during stages and variety shows as they seem to be with each other around. They support each other, always look out for one another, and cheer each other on.

If you had to pick which of the two showed more skinship, it’d have to be Mark. Maybe it’s a combination of being charming guy type along with Janet having that very huggable mochi existence, but Mark definitely likes to hold on to his princess and grab his princess’s attention, even going so far as to kiss her cheeks. And yes, there can be some more risqué touching as well. As a side not, Princess is what Mark called Janet as. Janet doesn’t seem to mind at all, in fact we think she kind of savors it and at times she can even reciprocate in some rather interesting ways!

SCENE REQUESTS: It will be during JYP’s Mini Live in Thailand when Janet will get hurt. At some point Mark will has gone off stage to be with Janet and come running back after some time, then proceed to determinedly mic-snatch from the other to speak some words on Janet's behalf. Janet eventually will come back to the stage and is able to speak to the fans herself, but the fact that Mark do those things for Janet shows a great deal of care and consideration. Together in JYP situations, this is when the JaMark shipper ship them more!
