Must Read For Friends And Readers~

So, I’ve gained A LOT of readers over the past 6 months, almost 1200 unique subs now (AND I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR ALL OF THE LOVE I RECEIVE), and I was wondering if you wanted to know a bit about why I actually post how I do, like subs-only and what not.

Why My Stories Are Subs-Only

Well, I noticed a trend in how people behave with stories, sure all of those free for everyone to read stories are absolutely fabulous, but they don’t get any of the recognition that they deserve. My stories were definitely being read but people didn’t comment often or subscribe, they just gave me upvotes and that was it. Sure, I love upvotes just as much as any author does, but I never got any huge amounts of feedback, maybe five comments for each one-shot if I was lucky. Then I changed all of my stories to subs only. Not only did I get like three hundred subscribers for each completed one-shot, but I also got double the upvotes and four times as many comments. Coincidence? I think not. So because I wanted people’s opinions on my writing, I decided to switch all of my stories over and I’m much happier and updating a lot faster than I would have done previously. Also, I like to know that people appreciate that I spend days on end writing just to update for you all, I put school work on hold and don’t socialise as much as my parents would like just because I’m so dedicated to writing for you all. Another reason is because some of my friends who don’t like K-Pop were reading them and it made me a bit uncomfortable…

How I Plan/Get Ideas For My Stories

Really, everything I post just comes from me thinking about random things, such as if I listen to a song, I make up a whole plot just with hearing one word that triggers my thought process. I also think, what is the craziest, most interesting thing you can think to make into a story, and then a whole range of plots are born. So far I haven’t been able to write stories for all of my plots (I have around 20-30 completely worked plots for stories 10-40 chapters in length), and I will manage to publish them all one day, probably when I finish high school this year and go to university.

My One-Shots

Well, I mostly think of these when I’m working on my chaptered stories, and I publish/write them for a little breathing space from being too fixed on one story. I find writing to be hard sometimes which makes me take longer to write them, but I always try to finish them as soon as I am able to.

My Chaptered Stories

I work on these updates during the weekend usually, and I spend a lot of time thinking of what to write next (of course having the plot outline on my phone next to me helps a lot) and sometimes it takes me a while to actually make progress on the next part of the storyline so I seem to put it off by writing one-shots until my inspiration comes back. I will be making an effort to update at least once a week unless school gets in the way, then you can’t blame me because I need to get excellences (equivalent to As or A+s) in as many things as possible.

Length Of My Updates

Well, I try to make my updates worth the wait so I set a minimum limit for myself. EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER IS OVER 3000 WORDS (7 pages in word). I work hard trying to make these chapters lengthy, sometimes I have to add in extra parts just to make up the difference, but it seems to work and it makes me satisfied because there is actually quite a bit for my readers to read.

My Deal On Everything Else

I’m perfectly fine with accepting any friend requests, or having conversations with everyone. I always reply to comments on my stories or blog. I love hearing what you all have to say and I meet a few of you on other sites such as twitter or facebook. I always have a stupid grin on my face when I read your responses or comments, it honestly does make my day!

I HAVE 4 OTHER ONE-SHOT PLOTS READY FOR WRITING, SHOULD I POST THE FOREWORDS NOW OR LATER? (Please answer this, I’m kind of wanting to but kind of not so I want someone else’s opinion~ ^o^)

So now that you know a bit more about my posting and how I deal with certain things, feel free to let me know what you think!
