She is often considered as a real-life tsundere. A tsundere is a Japanese manga/anime character development process that describes a person who is initially cold and even hostile towards another person before gradually showing their warm side over time.

Being close, she is very defensive of her friends and family. They are the one who see the soft, caring and considerate inner self of hers. Her loved ones is very important for her, and comes at the top in the list of priorities. She also happen to be very emotional and often fall into the depths of nostagia. She has an excellent memory, she hardly miss a piece of detail about her past. She extremely sensitive and emotionally fragile. She has this protective and affectionate side. She makes excellent groupmate and is not so good at letting go of her members when the situation requires. She loves to make her members laugh and happy. She is like the mother of the group. To her loved ones, she present her most soft and mellow self. She is very sensual and can be the best of lover. Background:

She was born in Sakae, Nagoya, as a result of a one night stand. She has a younger twin, Aiko and their parent got married shortly after they known about the pregnancy. Just because she and her twin was the only thing that kept her parents together, didn’t mean that they loved them any more than necessary. They didn't even love them that much at all, especially her mother. Born in Honolulu, Japan. Her mother, Sayuki, was the original native that lived in the city since birth while her father, Jiwon was from Korea. Sayuki was a PD at the local television company while Jiwon was a doctor. The family was quite rich. When Erin was 12, her parents finally divorced and she and her twin went to live with their father. Aiko is the wild one of the twin. Her early teenage life is full of freedom and fun. Erin is different from Aiko. She is more mature and like a mother. She takes care of their home need really well. She is the one who cook, clean and even look after her father. She is also a bit protective when it comes to her twin. During their high school years, Aiko made some questionable decisions regarding… life in general. and all the things around, the whole package really. She called it experimenting. Erin called it craziness.

They ended up being sent to Korea by their father when they were 18, to leave with her grandparent, specifically her father's parent. They also had gotten their residense visa. Aiko's theory is that her father probably couldn’t keep up with them anymore and sent them away for someone else to take care of them. Erin's theory is that her father know what the best for them. Back in Korea, things got a little strict with the observation of their grandparent. Erin didn't really get exposed to idol world. The only person that close to her and involve in Kpop things is her cousin, Shinhye, who is an actress. They met in Korea for the first time and get along almost immediately. Her staying in Korea had change her, but not yet completely. Erin did smoke and drink although she isn't as bad as her twin, in Korea, she has quit the smoking and drinking, with the help of their grandparent and Shinhye. The same things to Aiko. Erin and Aiko were enrolled and was studying in a nursing academy. Surprisingly, Erin enjoyed studying nursing and she discover a new interest, the so called Kpop. One day Erin, Aiko and Shinhye hang out together, karaokeing, Shinhye recorded Erin while she does her "performance". Shinhye uploaded the singing clip of Erin onto her instagram and it became attracted fans attention. It also caught the attention of a talent scouter in Big Hit. Erin got scouted shortly after that, she were called for an audition and she did come after much thinking, practicing and wishes from her now, big family. Her father too, send a video message to her. With the cheers, she passed the audition.

How you met: They met in the simplest way, during trainee years when both were still trainees. She was practicing dance that the trainer taught alone, but she was stuck at a certain move. Suga was happened to be there, he was actually on his way to go home when he saw her. He decided to help her. They became friend quick enough, the fact is they had seen each other before during classes but never really talk to each other.

How you interect: They are good friends. Suga used to say that he got a crush on her voice when the truth is Eris who liking him more than friend. The longer they befriend, the more she realized that she has been liking him more she should, but she never confessed. Infact, she played hide and seek with his feeling. It's obvious that she likes him if you really observe them, it's not just platonic but more to romantic feeling. The other fact that Suga only likes her as a friend is pretty obvious too.

She was scared and trying to ran away when she hear someone's voice, the slang is quite different from standard Korean. He was wearing a mask and cap so it's hard for her to see his face. He gave a good fight to the guys and saved her.

How you interact: After the first met, Erin do feel like she owed him so thats why she keep in touch with him. He is really close to Erin but he tends to fight with her all the time and always winning. Their interaction is like cat and dog and sometimes people wonder if they are really friend. If you peek at them when they're alone, you gonna here them arguing about everything and they will laughs randomly at times. Their talk never stop in spite Tao being not so fluent in Korean.

Trainee Life: Trainee years was hard because she got to live her life everyday with the same boring shcedule with sweat, tears and blood. She was not good in dancing as she thought and was given an extra class for that. She wanted to give up several time but her loved ones was there, kept supporting till the end. There were not much foreign trainees there and foreigners usually got bullied including her, but nothing major happened.
