Inagaki Honami was born on July 13, 1992 in Yamaguchi, Japan to a couple. Her father works as a researcher for the chemical company Ube Industries. She has two siblings: an older brother, who is a Seoul University student, and an older sister, a part-timer at a cafe. She is second cousins with Michishige Saho. Michishige Sasho is a Japanese idol. Dancing is her theraphy. Dancing is her strength. Since she was born pre matured, she got a problem to walk, it's a rare situation but it does happen. Until she was 4 she can't take a step. Her parent met various proffessional and they suggest them to teach her walk through music begins with simple hand movement to leg movement. Hence, she started listening to music while "dancing" since she was 4, she is 22 now so she had been dancinging basically for the whole of her life.Even if her family wasn’t the richest, she believed she had a fairly decent childhood. Her sister and brother played with her a lot, especially her sister. They were fond of playing dress up, trying on pink tutus and drinking fake tea out of plastic tea cups. 

When she was 6, she asked her mother to teach her how to be like the singers on television. But her mother doesn't think that she is serious, for her both parent, it's just a toddler's dream. When she was in elementary school, she won an award for aerobics. She took piano lessons. She also getting involved in acting at the age of 5. After turning 13, she entered high school with her dream of being a singer on hold with a goal to make her  parents more prouf of her. So her parent were literally wrong with their prediction earlier. When she really try out to sing and dance like the singers, she  feel the butterflies, she see the clouds and sunset. The excitement, it may sounds cheesy but thats how she know that it's what she have to do in her life. The sad thing is she always fail her audition, it was her 3rd times already. When she failed the third audition, the commenter wrote in a comment about her that her singing is weak. After the audition, she had taken voice lessons to improve her singing, but even she admits that her own singing is still bad. Later, she focused on her schooling and her own  training.

The family moved from Ube to Gangnam when she was 19 because of her father work, he is assign there as the company is spreading their wongs to Korea. She was street casted at Gangnam street after a month there. That's mainly based of her face and fashion styles. They told her about Fantiago and being a trainee. She was quite skeptical about that, is they really representatives from Fantiago? Well yeah, she did heard about SM back in Japan, SNSD is in the company but never about Fantiago. She got their numbers and went back home. She told about that to her family and contacted her best friend. Her parents was not that supporting but they said they will accept whatever she choose. Her best friend told her to try it out and to bring her brother with her there, just in case. She contacted the representatives and arranged one date where she gone to SM and got to show off her skills to people that incharged of approving her as a new trainee of Fantiago.

She got accepted later. She was a trouble maker and social butterfly. She got few friends that are trainees and some already becoming idols now. Non- Korean trainees tend to get bullied. But that didn't happened to her. She knows how to climbs the social stairs. She is good in impress and take care of others' feeling. But she make a thin barrier between the other trainees, She didn't want to get too close or find any enemies. They are just friends during trainees. It was quite a pressure for her during trainee. The tension between getting pick to debut or just left behind as trainee only. But with this pressure, she told herself that she must work harder. She will show her skill. She has evolved alot over the last few years. She consistently improves and reveals new talents. When she first auditioned it was her dance and cute acts that grabbed everyone’s attention. Since then she has shown that she is so much more than a one-dimensional idol. she is one of the group’s “all-rounders”. As the best dancer, she seems to focus more on versatility and flexibility. Rapping wise she’s not that bad either. Singing wise, she’s below average, and if you think otherwise, please stop. Her real “talent” honestly lies in her acting. She’s without a doubt a good actress. If she isn't meant to debut as an idol, there may just be a promising career in acting for her.

how you interact with each other — They met at the company as a trainee during the classes. They have very different initial ideas when it comes to love. He goes towards the idea that love is slow; that it takes time to really be in love. She claims that love is fast because it is passionate. From the surface, Hona isn’t shy of expressing her affection over Taehwan. She is always ready to help him. She also likes to whenever she has the chance. Sometimes, he denies the caring gestures, but he really does like them judging by the way he lets her attaches herself to him. She even does the old school trick of distraction then putting the arm around the other’s shoulder. Very smooth and open minded. In the inside, Taehwan cares and adores Hona like she is his sister. She on the other hand obviously cares a lot about him. She’s like him in the sense that he loves hanging around and being with hir sister. She admires him. It’s somewhat obvious in the way she sometimes acts around him when together. She will always find, or try to find her way to him, whereas he is seen hanging out with everyone else but her. He thought maybe she just wants a little bit more of his love and attention. And at one point he realized she feel weird without her around, caring for him and no one will ever gives him full attention and affection like her. As a side note Hona was affectionate toward Taehwan because of his face, Taehwan look awfully lot like her ex that she still have feeling for.
