Let's see 

[1] There has been many many successful groups JYP has debuted. How do you feel about this? Do you feel burdened by the fact you have to be better than your sunbaes or be just as successful as them? 

"I was worried at first because I know JYP. There are many many successful groups that JYP has debuted. But as the time passed, I have a lot of confidence of being better than our sunbaes... The fact that each members' personality stands out. Our blood types are even different. The fact that we are like a family. We don’t have specific plans yet, but after getting a place in Korea I want to show Asia Cherrie’s charm."

 

[2] What was your first reaction when you found out you were to debut with 'cherrie'? 

"I consider myself as still really young, so I didn’t know how to hold my mind together. When I found out I were to debut with 'cherrie', I thought that 'I have to succeed'. Without any other thought, I thought I really have to succeed. I realized 'I will debut now'. Inside, I was so excited that I could only think but the words didn't seem to comes out from my mouth."

 

[3] You are to debut with a cute concept from what JYP says, does this burden you? Or would you rather have a cute concept rather than a y or strong one?

"Cute concept, I don't find this as a burden at all. As the leader and the oldest, people might have their own expectation from me, maybe they expect me to show the charisma and maturity. The thing is I rather have a cute concept rather than a y or strong one because I am definitely not that y. No. I think that I am not y at all in real life."

 

[4] Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Solo activities? Acting? Who is your role model? Is that person someone you've looked up to since childhood?

"After 10, 20 flying by, I want to be a dance teacher. I don’t know if I can do well in that age but I want to teach my experience and know hows. And I have a dream which I dream of all of the time, I want to help the orphans who are poor. There are a lot of people to help in this world, and I cannot be the only one who is happy. Till where my abilities can go, if I earn a lot of money I want to use it to help people. As for role model, my role models are Beyonce, Lee Hyori, and Kim Dongryul."

 

[5] I know a lot of fans are curious about this, and I'm sorry for asking so suddenly when you haven't even officially debuted yet, but who is your ideal type, and why? 

"In term of appearance, I like a handsome guy. If I look at a person and I say that the person is cool, it’s definitely a blonde foreigner with distinct features. /shows two photos of foreign men models which I have saved on her cell phone/ In term of personality, I like cheerful men who have senses and listens. It’s better if he is completely 'mine'. I am really greedy. I always like a kind guy. I cannot digest a bad boy. If he is kind, he won’t cheat and will be filial towards the parents. He has to be kind, humorous, and has ability. I wish if he could just look after me. I don’t like the guy’s job to be involved with the girl's job. Kimura Takuya, the Japanese idol is perfect. I know I did told you that I find blonde foreigner with distinct features as cool but I just said that as my favourite eye candy. As for conclusion, my ideal type if I have to name one, Kimura Takuya, he is the perfect guy."

 

[6] If you were to pick a few things you think 'Ah, this I am the best at compared to the group' what would it be? And you can't say you guys are all good! If you must be praised for one thing only, what would it be? 

"I can show a perfect expression act when on stage. As the visual, I think I can say that I has a charm which makes people freeze with performance. I didn't mean that only as visual I am more charming than anyone else in the group but practice and more practice. I am the one who had practice the longest. After been stressed about how our expressions have to be good while dancing by JYP-nim. The finger stinging the air, I have to show my feelings although one hair flies, and I have to show what girl the main character is in the song. I think I am the best at my perfect expression act on stage compared to the other group members."

 

[7] Finally, any last messages to your fans or your families? 

"Short term wise, the dream I want to achieve the most is Cherrie to win the rookie award. You can only receive this award once. Longer term wise, I miss my hometown although it hasn't been long since I last went there, I want to be an ambassador and do things like “Welcome to Busan”. /laughs/ I also wish if I could hear that I am as good as the JYP sunbaes. I want Cherrie to become way cooler and succeed in the industry. Back there, my aunt in Busan get anxious because she couldn’t see me debuting after my six years of training. She even cried out of happiness recently when she found out I will finally debut. Frankly talk, I prepared my debut for a long time before but I was stifling because I didn’t know when I would stand on stage. I have given up once because the front road was deserted. I got better after calling my aunt through telephone. I am thankful to my family... who is supporting right next to me and my friends. During trainee years, I learned dance, and got precious friends. You cannot buy these things with money. Our members, we are all the same. The role changes everyday according to the atmosphere. I wish Cherrie has a strong fan base. With all the struggles and obstacles we had to overcome, it’s good that we are well liked by the fans."
