Lee Haneul was sitting alone in the bench holding a bag of lunch box. Everynight, this has been her routine to passed by and wait for someone like she used to be.

It started just a month ago. Haneul is a cashier in a cafe and she has always been interested in one man who always buy a canned coffee and stay siting on the same baench until midnight. She usually watched his face and trying to catch his eyes with hers. For goodness sake, she had a chance. One night, she purposely passed by in front of the sitting man on the bench. When she saw him searching on his pocket for tissue, she immediately gave her handky.

"Oh, thank you." he said awkwardly before taking the handky from her.

"No problem. Uhm, can I sit beside you? Its- its because there were lovers on all the bench out there and I..."

"Go ahead and sit. I was alone so, there's no problem." there were moments of silenced and there, she finally cleared her throat.

"Ehrn..." he looks at her. "Uhm, I always see you here. Sitting alone. By your own, like waiting for someone. Are you?"

"So, you were always here too?"

"Uh, no. I'm not. Its just that, I always takes this path for more convenience going home. You?"

"Well, my house is just one block away here. I just like taking a rest in here."

"I thought you were waiting for someone." she mumbled.

"Eh? You're saying something?"

"Uh? No. I don't. But in the latter part, I was always wondering why this man always buys instant dinner pack for one and coffee then sits alone in the park looking no where after he finished his foods."

"So, you have that kinds of thoughts about me?" he chuckles, "I'm sorry about that."

Haneul blushes, "W- well, its my fault also for keeping my eyes on you."

"Why?"

"Because you're different from other people here."

"Maybe."

"Hey."

"Uhm?"

"Since you always eats what you bought for dinner, do you miss homecooked foods?"

"Huh? O- of course. Why'd you asked?"

"Okay, lets have a deal."

"Deal? Like what?"

"Uhm, I'm also living by my own and I don't have anybody to enjoy my meals with. Would you like to be my meal mate?"

"Meal mate? Its the first time I heard of that."

"because I just created it."

"Uh... I- I don't want to bother someone else for my foods."

"don't worry. It will benefits both of us. You can eat home cooked foods, while I will have my mate whenever I'm having a meal."

"Are you sure with that?"

"Yeah!"

Though they are both strangers to each other the deal went good for both of them. Every night, after dinner time, he will wait for her and they will eat together.

"Haneul, how did you learn how to cook foods like this?"

"My mother used to sell and deliver cook pack lunch for office staffs in company around the city before. She taught me how to cook dishes and even how to make people who will eat it be satisfied and be happy when they were eating those foods."

"Then, why don't you asked your manager to try at least to put some of your dishes on your menu at the cafe?"

"I don't want to. I am not like my mother when it comes to cooking. She cooks to make everybody happy, while me, I was just cooking for myself to get by. Its two different things."

"You're cooking for me and its making me happy. Isn't that enough?" Haneul bulshes hard red with what he had said and she choked. "O! Hey!" For another week had passed by, Haneul then grant Tao's wish to teach him how to cook. She nvited him to her house and share the kitchen together. There she enjoyed cooking for the first time. From there, Tao usually waits outside her house so that they could cook together.

"Tao, don't you have a girlfriend?"

"Why did you asked?"

"Because you're always with me and..."

"I like someone. But I'm afraid she won't feel the same." that somehow broke her heart.

"Really? What are you afraid of? With looks and your personality, for sure, she will return your feelings or will like you in the latter part." Tao just looked at her with that kind of eyes. Suddenly he reached out his hand.

"Don't move." Haneul did what he said there, he touches the side of her lower lip to take out something, "You have some stains on your lips." and then they re their food and the night ended with silenced.

On her bed, Haneul can't seemed to get enough of her sleep. She passes the day with so much agony in her eyes, suddenly, she had noticed that Tao had stop coming to eat with her, not even going to the cafe. There, everyday, she will just bring foods with her and stay a little while on the park. She's waiting for him to come, but even just a shadow or a glimpse of him wasn't there.  She's always been sighing everyday. Her aura was always down. She doesn't know what happened to him or, what she had done to make him feel that way. She has al the worries inside her even thinks of bad things that happened to him. She then visits his apartment, but no ones there. For days, she comes back in the same palce after the other just to make sure if she is still lucky enough to see hm, but there's no one. She decided to stop thinking and move on, but...

One day, when she comes out of the blue, a car stopped in front of her. Her eyes are all wondering until a familiar built comes of the car wearing sunglasses and in suit. She gulped when she realizes who was it, its TAO! "W-what are you-"

"I'm human of course!" he said sarcastically.

"T- Tao..."

He smiled and walked to her slowly before embracing her, "Did you miss me?"

She suddenly sobbed on his words, "IDIOT!"

They end up being the same spot on the park, "Hey, why did you stop coming in here?"

"Me? I'm always here. You're the one who stopped coming."

"Aist! Then, its my fault then. I forgot!"

"Stupid..." she mumbles.

"Hey! Would you stop calling me names now? I already said Im sorry. Lee Haneul.."

"Hrn?"

"Will you... be my... girlfriend?"

"EH!?"

"What? You don't like to? Geez! This is why I thought its the best for me not to say that to you."

"You idiot! If its me then why did you just disappear not even leaving a note or drop by the cafe?"

"Because I am afraid that my father put down all his tantrums to you. After all, its my fault why I was suddenly took home forcefully."

Haneul sighed, "You're the worst!"

"Do you hate me now!?"

"Its too late to hate you now! Everyday, I always end up sitting int his bench waiting for you. Packing lunch for two, though I know you will never come and have a dinner with me. Is that hate for you?"

"So, you mean...?"

"Yes, I like you too."

"YES!"

From that day on, Haneul will always wait for Tao to come and eat with her or he will come and see her on the cafe even if as a costumer.
