Username/Nickname: troubledwater/TTW
Character: Cho Nahyun
Position: Main dancer, lead rapper, sub-vocalist

✹ Thoughts & Impressions.
Thoughts on debuting: In Nahyun's opinion, it's about time. She's had to focus on training and training and training for 6 years, and in that time, Super Junior's had a lot of activities and dramas. Even the negative things have added to their popularity. Nahyun's going to promote the heck out of Dolls - it's her turn to shine, no matter what happens with Suju. She's not ignoring them, exactly - of course she's paying attention to Kyuhyun, as she considers him her greatest rival - but she's definitely putting Daybreak first.

Thoughts on Infinite: Dayfinite's pretty popular anyway, but Hoya/Nari is one of the most popular pairings within that distinction. It started when it was revealed that Nahyun's favorite color is purple, same as Hoya's, and then somebody pointed out that they're both main dancers and lead rappers...the fanfiction spurted on from there. And fanart. And edits. Woollim, catching on, thought it would be a good idea for the two to be fairly fanservicey with each other, and through that, Nahyun and Hoya became good friends. She's formal to the rest of Infinite, and sees the boys as her company seniors, but she's truly bonded with Hoya. (Note that most of that bonding occured after Daybreak debuted, because that's when the shipping happened.)

Thoughts on members:

Sae - Sae and Nahyun didn't know each other until Sunrise and Sunset merged, actually; Nahyun's first impression of the girl was something like "Whoa, she's pretty." Nahyun really likes how blunt Sae is, and doesn't care much about her manners (namely since Nahyun's aren't fantastic either.). They get along fairly well, but it's not like they're besties or anything. They are roommates, however, and have a sibling-like relationship.

Daya - Nahyun's first impression of Dayana was that she was pretty cold, actually. She knew her as a Sunrise trainee, whilst Nahyun was in Sunset, so that might've altered her perception... After Daybreak was announced, Nahyun figured out that Daya's the leader, and something like Daybreak's "dad". Then you've got Nahyun, who's the maknae who plays pranks and is generally weird. They're like opposites, but they get on fairly well.

Yia - Yia and Nahyun were both in Sunset, which is good and all, but fact of the matter is, they're almost total opposites. Nahyun doesn't hate Ilyia, but if she has the chance to talk to somebody she's closer to, she'll choose them.

Jooin - Jooeun was in Sunrise, but Nahyun likes her anyway. Nahyun views her like an older sister, somebody she really trusts and can get along with easily. Nahyun knows not to prank her particularly messily, thanks to her OCD; she doesn't really make that distinction for anybody else in the group, so there's that. Thanks to being in seperate subgroups, they're not as close as they could be.

Emma - Nahyun doesn't like Emma very much. She's quiet and generally seems irritable to her, especially when she gets those headaches...Nahyun just finds her annoying. She really respects Emma as a performer, though - both of them are passionate about what they do, but they're not quite friends.

Aesook - Nahyun thinks Aesook is like the mysterious love interest in a romance novel. They knew each other in Sunset, and really are friends. They're similar in that they're lazy in matters they don't care about, and Nahyun thinks Aesook's spiritualism and knack for good hunches is absolutely awesome.

Yeony - Nahyun loves Hyesoon. It helps that they're both in Sunset and Hyesoon never had to see Nahyun as competition, but either way, they're friends. They're laughing and joking together more often than not, since Nahyun thinks Yeony is one of the few members with a sense of humor.

Joy - Nahyun and Jaemi are pretty similar to each other - they're closest in age to each other, they're both rapppers and dancers, and they're both optimistic and happy people. It's really a miracle they don't annoy the crap out of each other; instead, they make the maknae line of Daybreak all joyful and happy-like.

Nari

Closest: Hyesoon, Aesook, Jaemi

Least: Emma, Ilyia, Jooeun

✹ Tell Me Love.
History: Let it be known that Cho Nahyun lost her ity during a trip home from training in 2009 - her friends threw her a small gathering (read: a party without a giant crowd or dance music, but completely a party nonetheless), and Rose brought over a friend from the foreign school she was attending at the time. He was American (though he spoke Korean fluently) and pretty much Nahyun's ideal type. With some creative meddling, the two ended up in the closet together for some game...to put it simply, they didn't leave for a while. The two lost touch after Nahyun went back to training, of course, but.

Prior to that, Nahyun had never even been kissed. She'd never had a boyfriend (though there was one guy trying to get closer to Kyuhyun through her. She promptly dumped him), she'd never had any type of romantic experience, she'd never even really had a crush...until that night, and that boy. She keeps it all a closely guarded secret, and makes sure not even the members of Daybreak (or Yoohwan, or Hoya, for that matter) know about it. Maknaes aren't supposed to do those types of things.

✹ Heh <3.
Any Last Comments: I've applied for main dancer in all your girl group applyfics, which I find really strange because usually I go for rapper-like positions. I kinda feel like I'm hogging it...if there's a next time (and the "if" is on the off chance I can resist) I'll probably go for something else, so yayforthat. And I love the fact that Nari is the maknae, because that's strange and oddly fitting, and it'll draw more Suju comparisons since if you don't count Henry (which a lot of people don't, unfortunately), Kyuhyun's the maknae. That's good. I like it. But I digress!

Also, the album is awesome, and Nari's lines on Goodbye 20 are perfect. Goodnight.
