drabbles for the soul (part one of my binge)
So I opened a request over at my writing community (with jia_ying and OnceUponATaem) in LJ and I thought I should share 'em here. If you wanna request, go ahead and comment into this entry with a pairing and prompt (ONE per comment).
@screaminpka - changyoon - fighting over camera brands
There wasn’t a lot that put them at odds with each other. But when they do fight it is always something over so simple and trivial. So it isn’t much of a shock to know that their loudest argument would be over the brand of camera to use on their honeymoon abroad. Yoona, being a Nikon user, detested the fact that Changmin deemed Canon superior and Lord knows she loves him but she wasn’t going to let him get away with badmouthing her brand at all.
“You’re an idiot.” She tells him since saying ‘I do’ a hundred hours ago.
He pauses, staring down at her with his dark, dark eyes wide in bemusement.
“Are you serious?”
She levels his stare but then cracks when his lips quirk and he inches just a bit closer.
There wasn’t a lot that put them at odds with each other. But when they do fight, one of them always relents.
Yoona smiles and pecks his lips. “No.” And she means it.
(She figures she can just take out his Canon DSLR before they leave for their flight.)
Choi_Kimmy - jaejoong/boa/yunho - forbidden love
I think it must have been the heat that brought us together. The days have been too cold for our liking, snowcapped and dreary as our mouths puffed clouds of air in each other’s space. I am of Summer and my need to burn is greater now than it ever was before.
“We shouldn’t keep meeting like this,” I murmur, my words coming in pants as my skin slides sticky with his. He grins, his eyes lit with the same fire as mine and I shiver when his teeth nips at my neck. “He’ll hate us both, Yunho.”
“Do you care, BoA?”
My love is Winter, but I am of Summer and my need (for Yunho) to burn is greater now than ever before.
“No.”
dnsuee - changyoon - changmin trying to promote yoona's drama
Changmin would die first before he’d ever admit it, but Kyuhyun knows when his best friend is being the girl in the relationship. The evidence is clear when Changmin mentions a certain doe-eyed girl’s drama premiering for the eighth time that night the Kyu-line are all conveniently hanging out in his dorm. Changmin tries and fails spectacularly to pass his words off as nonchalant but Kyuhyun can plainly see his friend’s balls receding with each shy shutter he makes when speaking Yoona’s name.
It’s his duty to put his best friend out of his misery, so Kyuhyun flips the TV on just as the opening credits for ‘Prime Minister and I’ start and says,
“Shut up and relax, Shim. We’re all for supporting your girlfriend’s drama anyway.”
His best friend glowers at him but gratefully smiles nonetheless. And Kyuhyun can’t help but this that it’s cute, really, how the great Choikang Changmin could be such a blubbering idiot at the thought of his girlfriend of a hundred or so days. It must be love, he thinks and finds that he really doesn't mind if Yoona continues to make Changmin a little nicer each day.
OnceUponATaem - kai/sulli - "my imagination is killing me."
Kai thinks that he didn’t mean for things to change. He’d been content to try to move on; to be happy about who he is and what he has left. He had given his heart to Soojung and he wasn’t looking to get it back because Kai knows that Soojung is gone (dead in the ground with poppies littering her tombstone) and he loves her, loves her, loved her.
But Jinri is different (so much it is painfully beautiful). She is there when she needed and when she is not, caring when he thinks it’s all just in his head.
Kai begins to understand why Taemin’s heart had to change.
He wishes his didn’t have to change too.
