Personality: Lian is one that you can say as out-of-the-ordinary type of person. Rather than being the cute and childish 91-liner as her features suggests,she is a bit different than that. Despite her child-like appearance,she is a motherly-type of person. She is identical to any other mothers that you have encounter for the rest of your life. She nags tremendously a lot. She would literally nags at almost every single thing. She would nag if the girls didn't make up their bed,didn't put their clothes in the appropriate place,didn't clean up their dorms,didn't do the chores that was assigned to them. You get the picture right? Anyways,despite her naggy side,she is truly the person that the girls love to stick to. Even if the girl is annoyingly naggy,the girls couldn't posibly dislike Lian. She would usually mumble some Chinese words and taps her right feet to ground 9 or 10 times per minute. The members were already used to it so they really don't mind her behavior since they already knows about Lian a bit too well but for some people that just met her,people might sometimes dislike her.

Since Lian is a blend of two cultures herself,she loves extraordinary fusion cuisine. She also loves to cook and not to brag but she can cook pretty well. Having Japanese blood running in her veins,she loves the one thing that put Japan in the center of the world which is ANIMES! She loves them so very much. That is how she got close to Kai since they both love animes. Lian would rather stayed up all night just so she can watch her anime shows in her laptop.Other than watching animes, books are also her very best friend. If you could just take a look at her collections of books, your jaws would possibly drop to the ground. Whenever she have any free time during practice, you often would find her sitting in a corner with a book in her hands. She can also a bit childish at times. She will whine all day if she doesn't get what she wants and you can see that side of her on several occasions such as her birthday or anything special. That is how she got the nickname 'Little Girl'.

Lian also can be bit of a dork sometimes. She tends to act goofy especially when the members felt unmotivated and depressed. She is the one that often brought laughter to the group. Sometimes she also answers to several questions that was asked in variety shows wittily that often brings laughter from the MC's,staff and also audiences. She is a positive thinker and you also might say that she is like the one that brough positive energy to the group.

Background: Born in a multi-cultural family,Lian grew up pretty decent as the eldest child and the only daughter of Wu Xiami and Sakurada Kanoko. Lian was raised in a pretty well-off family since both of her parents are the heirs to their each respective family bussiness in both China and Japan. Luckily her parents raised her in a strict manner by her parents so she grew up into a fine young heiress unlike the usual conceited ones that you often find. Being daddy's little girl,she is usper close to her father since her lil' bro was Momma's boy. With a family consisted of only 4 members and only 2 children,the society of the rich and famous knew Lian and her brother rather well since the two was always taken to charity ball by their parents. But life wasn't always a smooth sailing for Lian. At the young age of 8,she was abducted by some mafia group in order to get money from her parents. Well,her parents surely can provide it no problem but the transaction was not done until she was held captive for 2 whole week. Those two weeks are probably Lian's worst moments in life. She wasn't given anything to drink or eat for that entire time.

So,when she got back to her family,she was fatigue,dehydrated and completely traumatized. Since that incident,Lian has developed a trauma of the dark and closed spaced or in other words,she is clautrophobic. The family soon moved to China to get Lian's mind at ease as well as for her father to concentrate on the bussiness there. Living in Duicheng,Beijing for 11 years slowly healed Lian. Maybe not completely healed but she was better than the person she was years ago. The family was yet again moved back to Tokyo since her Japanese grandparents has deceased and her mother had to take over the family bussiness since Lian's uncle hasn't finished his studies yet. When she was 20,she developed an interest in music. K-pop to be specific. When she first told her parents about her wishes going through the music industry,her parents opposed her wishes.

But after a while,she was able to convinced her parents to let her pursue her dreams. Next thing you know,Lian flew to Korea after she took up some lessons about the country and the Korean language for 3 months. When she arrived to Korea,she stayed in an apartment that belonged to the family. She soon started to auditioned for entertainment companies as a trainee. And after she sang 'A Goose Dream' for and audition at SM,she got accepted as a trainee. After training for 2 years and 9 months,she was soon handpicked by the Lee Sooman himself to be in the company's newest girl-group,Fairytale as a member of Fairytale-C which is the Chinese unit of Fairytale. Eventhough she is considered as a 'chaebol', she never shows it or tells it to the other trainees. And eventually only the members and knew it about her since they have been together for quite some time and after she debuted,the other people finally knew the truth about her.

Jieun at that time was running away from her manager and Lian helped her which leads to the ond of frienship being made. The two bond quite quick despite the huge difference between them both. Jieun was the one that helped Lian when she was having a though time being a trainee and Lian on the other hand was the one that supported Jieun when the girl got into trouble. They often meet up when there are no schedules and chat about their current life. For Lian,Jieun is like a little sister that she never had and Lian was like an older sister for Jieun.

Bomi is wacky and fun be to around with. But there is always one kid that always stood up for her and stopped the other kids and yes,you guessed it,it was Lu Han. The first time,Lian saw him she immediately fell for him since he was the only one who stod up for her and eventhough she was only 9 at that time,she looked at Lu Han as person that is dear to her. Starting from that,the two became best of friends. They spent time together quite a lot. Eventually both fell for each other's charms but they were oblivious to each other's feelings. Lian was about to confess about her feelings to Lu Han one day since the family had to go back to Japan and it was Lian's last day at the school as a freshman and also Lu Han's last day as a senior. Lian went to Lu Han's class after her last class ended only to see another girl from Lian's class,Mei Nihui confessed that she too liked Lu Han.
