Personality:

Lian is one that you can say as out-of-the-ordinary type of person. Rather than being the cute and childish 93-liner as her features suggests, she is quite different than that. Despite her child-like appearance, she is a motherly-type of person. She is identical to any other mothers that you have encountered for the rest of your life. She nags tremendously a lot. She would literally nags at almost every single thing. She would nad if the girls didn't make up their beds, didn't put their clothes in the appropriate place, didn't clean up their dorms, didn't do the chores that was assigned to them and... basically, you get the picture right? Anyway, despite her naggy nature, she is truly the go-to -person that the girls of the group loves to stick to. Even if the woman is annoyingly naggy, the girls couldn't possibly dislike Lian (though there are a few that are annoyed with her constant nags but they can never hate her to the core.) Lian was the one that usually comforts the other girls whenever they have problems or anything that they want to share. She would always give the girls a warm hug and pretty good advices when the girls spill their hearts out to Lian.

Lian is also a straight-forward type of person. If there are no restrictions, she would just point out things that she is unsatissfied with or just blurt out her honest opinion without having to consider other people's feelings when she does. Not that she is mean but that is just her being sometimes being dead-honest (and sometimes the words just escape her lips without making a journey throught her brain to be analyzed first). Soem people might consider that this personality of her is cute with her being honest and all but you also need to know because of this tarit of hers, there are also a huge room for misunderstandings as some people might even misinterpreted her words and that evetually can and will bring trouble to both the company and to the group. That is why she doesn't talk much in variety shows (being too honest is one reason and the other is she is not super fluent in Korean yet) and the reason why she needs at least one member of the group to sit next to her in almost every program just so prevent her from saying things that may be misunderstood by others.

Lian is also an impatient person. She is not the type that loves to make people wait thus she is not a fan of waiting for others as well. She would usually mumble some Chinese words and tapps her right feet to the ground 0 or 10 time per minute. The members were already used to it so they really don't mind her behaviour since they already knows about Lian a bit too well through all of those times the girls spends together. But for some people that just met her, people are tend to be annoyed by her and dislike her at first glance even.

Since Lian herself is a blend of two cultures herself, she loves extraordinary fusion suisine. She also love to cook and sometimes experiments with different types of ingredients to make a new type of dish and good thing so far that her experiments never got wrong and people often praise her cooking even. Having Japanese blood running in her veins, she absolutely loves one thing that put Japan in the center of the worls which is ANIMES! She loves them a lot. That is how she got close to Kai is the first place since both of them are otakus! Lian would rather stays up all night just so she can watch her anime shows in her laptop. She also can get distracted very easily especially when she is in her comfort zone. Like when she is reading a book or when she is watching animes, there is no way you can get her to snap out of it without going out for desperate measures such as yelling right into her ear or at times, you need to splash water into her face just so you get her attention.

Lian loves kids and toddlers really. To her, kids are sacred since they only speaks of the truth. You could easily spot her smiling and grinning from ear to ear when she is playing with kids. Lian also has quite a short-temper. She gets pissed easily especially when someone is trying to mess with her or her loved ones and the people that are important to her espcially her families, friends and also her mebers. And sometimes on her nad says, she will explode for even the smallest matters and trust me, she is a complete monster when she enters that mode.

Lian is also a bookworm. Once she sets her eyes and attention on a book, there is n way you can grab her attention back. And because of her love of reading (and spend too much time on her laptop to watch animes) she gained quite a poor eyesight that eventually forces her wear glasses and contanct lens (though she prefer glasses than contanct lens but since she needs to be on stage, she had to force herself to wear them. And when she is off-stage she would just remove them since according to Lian, the lenses are just troublesome and itchy.)

 

Background:

Born in a multi-cultural family, Lian grew up pretty decent as the eldest child and the only daghter of Wu Xiami and Sakurada Kanoko. Lian was born and raised ina pretty well-off family since both of her parents raised her in a strict manner where she needs to do chores in order to earn her allowence. Throught that kind of up-bringing, she grew up into a fine young heiress unlike the usual conceited ones that you would often find. Being daddy;s litlle girl, she is super close to her father since her brother on the other hand was Momma's boy. With a family consisted of only 4 members and only 2 children, the society of the rich and famous in both Japan and China knew Lian and her brother rather well since the two was always taken to charity balls by their parents. But life wasn't always a smooth sailing for Lian. At the young age of 8, she was abducted by some mafia group in order to get money from her parents. Well, her parents surely can provide it no problem but the transaction was not done untl she was held captive for 2 whole weeks. Those two weeks are Lian's worst moments in life. She was left to starve-not getting anything to eat or drink for that entire time.

So when she got back to her family, she was fatigue, dehydrated and completely traunatized. Since that incident, Lian has developed a trauma of the dark and closed space(in other words, she is claustrophobic). The family soon moved to China to get Lian's mind at ease as well as for her father to concentrate on his bussiness there.Living in Duicheng, Beijing for 8 years slowly healed Lian. Thanks to the new friends that she made there. The family soon yet again moved back to Tokyo since her Japanese grandparents has deceased and her mother had to take over the family bussiness since Lian's uncle hasn't finished his studies yet. When she was 20, she developed an interest in music. K-pop to be specific. When she first told her parents about her wish of going to the music industry, of course as expected, her parents opposed to her wishes. Like what kind of parents would allow their daughter who excell in her studies to try her shot into the music industry that can't promise any bright future to Lian?

But after a while, she was able to convince her parents to let her to pursue her dreams. Next thing you know, Lian flew to Korea after she took up some basic lessons about the country and the Korean language for 3 months. When she arrived to Korea, she stayed in an apartment that belongs to the family. She soon start to audition for entertainment as a trainee. She sang 'A Goose Dream' for an audition at SM, she got accepted as a trainee where she meet and gain new friends. Though after only 5 months being trainee at SM, she quit as a trainee there since she realised that SM is not the place for her. She soon auditioned for JYP entertaiment with the same song and luckily she was accepted as a trainee at JYP. Finally after a year at JYP, she was picked as a member of the new girl-group project between JYP and YG : Alectrona which she was very thankfull for.

That itself serves as an explanation of how Lian and Kai got to be friends .The two met when Lian was still a trainee at SM and Kai was about to debut in EXO. They met in a DVD store actually. And is so happens they were about to grab the same DVD which was a movie : Bleach the Movie 2, Fade to Black. Starting from that meeting there, they began to spent times together mostly talking about animes and at times watching animes with each other too. Kai is basically Lian's best frind and also much like a brother to Lian too. Though Lian is older than Kai, the young idol is still hesitant too call Lian noona since Lian is basically older than him by a few months and all and also the fact that the two are super tight with each other.

She tends to act cute when they are together but Lian never did hate her company. Jieun at that time was running away from her manager and Lian helped her which leads to the on of friendship being made. The two bond quite quick despite the huge difference between them both. Jieun was the one that helped Lian when she was having a though time being a trainee and Lian on the other hand was the one that supported Jieun when the girl got into trouble. They often meet up when there are no schedules and chat about their current life. 
 
→Taisho Sugo (Masaki Suda) |Actor | 22 |Suda of Sugo, is a sweet and calm and collected man that often supports Lian and also gives a lot of good advices to Lian. Since Sugo debuted as an actor at such a young age, he did not lead a life that is normal like other kids his age. And since Sugo is basically a celebrity, he and Lian often see each other in charity balls and that was how their friendship began. They often meet each other at cafes where they would trade stories about their life and he is one of Lian's friends who was hesitant when Lian said she wanted to go to the music industry since he knew what kind of challenges the industry will toss in one's way. Though, when he saw how detemined Lian was, he had nothing else to say other than giving Lian's his advices and support. Despite Sugo's objections, Lian still choose to call him Philip (the name of the character that Masaki Suda potrayed in Kamen Rider W) since according to Lian, the name sounds cute and also the fact that it irritates Sugo the most Lian can't seem to stop calling him Philip at times.

Personality::Ryosuke or Ryo as Lian like to call him as we all know is one of those cute,caring and charismatic  guy that often captured  attention from tons of people. He is also one of those gentlemen types that make lots hearts of girls flutters whenever he is in sight. He is also a loving and protective guy. He will never let the ones that he cares about gets hurt or even in trouble. He is the type of guy that will do anything just so he can keep a smile on his beloved ones faces. Sometimes he is a bit overprotective especially towards his friends. And he is very concerned with one girl that we all know. The thing with Ryo is that he is a bit dense and oblivious with his own feelings and the feelings of those around him. That is also why he took quite a while to figure out Lian's true feelings for him.

Meeting: They first met when Lian first moved to Japan. Well,living her life for almost 9 years in Japan,her accent is a bit weird compared to the other Japanese. That is why she is often picked at and bullied by the other kids in her school. But there is always one kid that always stood up for her and stopped the other kids and yes,you guessed it,it was. The first time,Lian saw him she immediately fell for him since he was the only one who stod up for her and eventhough she was only 9 at that time,she looked at Ryo as person that is dear to her. Starting from that,the two became best of friends. They spent time together quite a lot. Eventually both fell for each other's charms but they were oblivious to each other's feelings. Lian was about to confess about her feelings to Sugo one day since the family had to go back to China and it was Lian's and Ryo's last day at the school as a freshman. Lian went to Ryo's class after her last class ended only to see another girl from Lian's class, Sawaka Hirako confessed that she too liked Ryo. Being the nice pretty boy he always been, Ryo accepted Hirako's confession since he didn't want to embarrass the girl in front of his classmates. That broke Lian's heart and she left without a word. The next thing Ryo knows,Lian and her family was gone,they moved to China. But the two were reunited when Lian moved back to Japan although for only a while before she flew to Korea. Being the babyfaces kiddos they are,they immediately recognised each other and eventhough Lian still have feelings for Ryo,she just kept a straight face and acted like there was nothing happened between the two. Though they still mantain a good friendship despite there are a few awkward moments between the two at times. 

Interaction(s): They kid with each other a lot. And being childhood bestfriends,Ryo knew about Lian from head to toe. From her naggy side and also her trauma of the dark and trapped spaces. Basically,he knows every single thing about Lian. But the two still remain oblivious to each other feelings for each other.
