VERSION 3.0
SYNCRATIC
DESIGNS
hi, my name is michelle, and i am the founder as well as the sole coder of syncratic designs ( though i often call it sd, since i'm ridiculously lazy ) c: i live in houston, texas, which is in the united states. no, i don't ride a horse to school, and yes, we are very close to mexico. as of now, i'm a freshman ( which means i'm 14 years old ) and yes, i am a girl ( if my name didn't give it away already lol ). i started sd just with the intentions of improving my coding abilities, and i hope to keep it that way. i'm not in it for the subscribers, the upvotes, or for recognition ( not that i expect any of those haha ), and i want to be able to make layouts without feeling pressured or time-constrained. i'm also known as Funruby, though i deactivated that account ; ;
i have a pretty wide taste in music. i like daft punk, onerepublic, lana del rey, and coldplay just to name a few of the english speaking bands. kpop wise ( i know you guys were waiting for this part haha ), my #1 group has always been and always will be SHINee. they introduced me to kpop back in march of...last year? i could gush all day about SHINee, but that's another subject entirely. i also really like infinite ( they're number two in my heart ). sorry, but i don't like EXO. at all. before all you exotics try to rip my face off, keep in mind that this is my opinion. i just don't like them, for reasons i won't say here. the sole EXO member i like is chen ( and i really like him ), and that's because i didn't know he was an EXO member. i still subconsciously think he's not part of EXO.
i started coding whenever i started applying for stories; learning to edit some of the app. thus began the pretty long journey of interpreting, applying, and playing around with codes. technically, i've been coding for around 6 1/2 months? but really, there was a four month period of doing nothing in between. though this wasn't too long ago, really, the 'world of coding' ( haha is that even a thing? ) was very small on aff, and there were only one or two 'tutorials', which taught a pretty limited amount of things. it wasn't until i started looking through html5 basics online that i was really able to do anything in the source besides change the border. now, whenever i look at all of these galleries, i feel super old and untalented since so many coders have all of this natural talent with coding haha ( like omg 2 weeks to learn all this coding stuff? /done ). it took me the longest time just to figure out how the < div > tag worked, much less how to use it. even today, coding isn't something that comes naturally, nor am i really all that good at it like a lot of other coders out there. it's pretty depressing actually aha.
i'm not really sure what motivated me to re-open, because i honestly had no intentions of doing that. but, here i am. i'd like to think that i've improved tenfold as a coder and as a person, but i don't really know. i suppose only time can tell. and i know i say this a lot, but i'm truly grateful for any support i get at all, and i'm still shocked that i actually have over 10 subscribers and over 1 upvote. it's beyond mindblowing. if you guys ever want to talk, please just reach out to me over pm or post on my wall. i promise i won't bite, and i will reply.
if you actually read through this entire block of crap, congrats i guess haha. yay you!!! c: now go do your homework or whatever it is you were trying to put off haha

WARNING: THIS IS ARGUABLY GOING TO BE THE MOST USELESS thing YOU WILL EVER see. IF YOU WISH TO USE YOUR TIME WISELY, I WOULD RECOMMEND you go elsewhere. seriously.
