Help Needed!

Hello!

I really want to start up a graphics shop, and make my own graphics, but I am new to the editing world, so I don't know my way around!

It would really help me if someone could just comment in the comment section bellow, you know give me some pointers as a new artist, and help me figure out my way around.

I'm not sure what software to use for a layout or making the graphics, so if you have and suggestions, I'm all ears!

GIMP is a free and relitively good editing system.

Maybe before opening your own shop, you could apply to work in another artist's shop so that you have a glimpse of how a shop is run. For experience, your portfolio and exposure as well. If the subbies in that shop like your work, they might even follow you when you set up your shop.

Well, I hope you have enough free space on your HDD, because you'll have to start searching for fonts, textures and stock images. I suggest you start with GIMP since it's easier to use than Photoshop. You'll find plenty of tutorials over the web and even here on AFF. Remember to always play around ;D you never know what you'll get.
