Personality :
Haneul is probably the calmest person you've ever met when you first time met her. Her sweet smile will melt you down and make you smile as well. However, when she's with her best friends and members, she'll be very talkative and cheerful. Haneul may be called the hidden moodmaker of Vanilla because she tends to be so lively when all people have calm down.
As this young girl has her mother being against her involvement in music, Haneul always seems to be determined and when it comes to be working with music.She really wants to prove it to her mother that singing is something that she can be proud of. Haneul takes care of her members very well and she does the thinking most of the time. Maybe that is the reason why of she seems like an eomma to the group and gets chosen to be the leader of the group.

Background :
Haneul was a former member of a girl group from Core Contents Media (the same company as T-Ara) but then something happened before she had to finally give up and leave. After she left, she focused on being her studies for quite sometime before her friends encouraged her to involve in music once again. When her mother knew she was about to be back to the industry, her mother was strongly against it, again. However Haneul managed to convince her mom to give her another chance and after that she immediately went for an audition held by SM Entertainment in 2011. She eventually passed all the stages and was listed as the trainee of SM Entertainment and then got to know that her mother gave her 3 years to debut only or else she would have to leave the industry forever. During her trainee years, Haneul worked hard and gained her opportunity to debut as the leader of Vanilla.
