1. How long have you been into k-pop?

I've been into k-pop since 2010. The first video that ever watched was Lucifer by SHINee back when Taemin was my bias. You can't tell me that the maknae didn't look pretty damn cool lol.

2. What male group is your favorite right now?

My favorite male group right now is and will always be SHINee. I just think that they're a great group that consistently delivers amazing work. They sing beautifully live despite their intense choreography, and they work well as a team. I love those guys.

3. Girl group?

I'm feeling kinda iffy about my favorite girl group. I really like Sistar, but their last EP wasn't my favorite. I would have to say that Girl's Generation is my fav, at the moment. Galaxy Supernova was a really catchy song.

4. If you didn't have k-pop, what do you think you would be doing and the type of music you'd be listening to instead?

Aw man...I think I would still be stuck in the dark ages. I was listening to a lot of rock and emotionally-intense music back then (it was a tough period). I'm glad that I discovered k-pop. It really brightens up my day and makes me smile. I love the process of finding new artists and music.

5. Do you have any k-pop merch, whether from a concert, KCon, or online, like eBay?

I have TONS of k-pop merchandise. The cost of shipping was a , but it was totally worth it. I plan on getting so much more when I get some more money in my pocket. I think that it's great to have a little piece of your favorite idols in your possession (okay....that sounded creepy but you get what I'm saying XD).

6. What's your favorite food?

Oh this dreaded question. Can I just say that I love food, period? I just wish that I could eat as much of it as I want without getting fat. Dare to dream lol. If I had to choose, I would say that my favorite food is pizza. It's DAE-to-the-BAK!

7. Do you have a habit that you always had or even picked up from idols/friends etc.?

I picked up a lot of my habits from my ultimate bias Jonghyun. In a way, I think that we share a lot of similarities. We're both like to lighten the mood with humor and silliness. We both like to do most of the talking, even though we should really should shut up every once and a while lol. When we laugh, people literally have to steer clear of us because we have this tendency to smack everything in our reach during our exaggerated bouts of laughter. I have a saying that I have always used ("Seriously. Is this what we're gonna do today?"). It's kind of my way of saying, "Seriously. Is this really what you want?" Later on after I became a fan of SHINee, I realized that Jonghyun had a quote similar to mines. The infamous "Is this the reality that you wanted?" line.

8. What type of weather is your favorite?

I love Fall weather! It's the right amount of cold that makes you want to cuddle up with a cup of warm, apple cider and pumpkin muffins. Aah...I love it!

9. If you could live anywhere (besides Korea) where would you live?

I wouldn't want to stay in one place for too long because I want to travel the world. If I had to choose, I would like to live in either London or Italy. Both have notable, historical landmarks and each place has a homey vibe that I admire. I'm an art major, so things like legendary cathedrals and old Renaissance works make me excited. Although you told me to choose otherwise, I would REALLY like to visit Korea. I want to see the world beyond K-pop and K-dramas. I want to hear the Korean Symphony play, taste their infamous cuisine, and visit the landmarks. Maybe, then I could truly make my decision. If Korea fits my future plans, then sure, why not?

10. What book is your favorite book you ever read?

The Book Thief has to be one of the best books that I've ever read. I was forced to read it for a high school English class (which I HATED) but as I started reading it, I actually enjoyed the story a lot. It was well-written and the ending was sad yet befitting of the topic.

11. Who, in your opinion, speaks the best engrish?

I don't know about Engrish, but for Korean natives, I think that Key, Chanyeol and BTS Rap Monster speak English fairly well. I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones that come to mind. Of course, I can't forget about the multilingual Kris Wu. Yes, I know that he isn't Korean but his English is pretty damn y if you ask me.

1- Favorite movie and why?

That's a tough one. I would have to say that one of my favorite movies is Memoirs of a Geisha. I loved the script, the way that the story was executed, and the score was beautiful. YoYo Ma and John Williams are truly amazing. Did I mention how gorgeous Ziyi Zhang and Michelle Yeoh were in that film? Lovely.

2- If  you were the heroine of a fairytale, which fairytale? And why?

When I think of fairytales, I automatically see people like Cinderella or Snow White. While they were very beautiful and incredibly lucky to get the handsome prince in the end, I would have liked to see more female heroes. Princess Tiana and Merida from Brave come close to ideal. I want to create my own hero. She would be like Athena the Goddess of Wisdom with physical strength. She could save herself from trouble and stand her ground with her "powerful" male counterparts. Eh, call me feminist.

3- Flowers or Jewelery?

I choose...NEITHER. Both are great gestures but they're terribly cliché. If I were to receive a gift, I would want it to come from the heart. I would want some thought to be put into it. Receiving something like tickets to a symphony, passes to an art exhibit with pieces from my favorite periods, or handmade gifts are more thought-provoking and romantic to me than flowers or jewelry. Even something as simple as an afternoon picnic in the park is great. Better yet, can you imagine a guy making you a mix cd with all the songs that remind him of you and your relationship? As cheesy as it sounds, that's really sweet!

4- Favorite romance related novel?

Now-a-days, good romance novels are hard to find with all the hogwash that goes in the teen fiction section. I love books written by Jane Austen. I like how she displays strong female leads that still have a soft side once love comes knocking at their door.

5- what is your ideal type of guy, looks and personality? ( Details please! )

Now, I like this question! My ideal type of guy is someone who intelligent without being pretentious and boastful. I like someone who's ambitious and knows what he wants in life. He isn't still living in his grandma's basement blaming the recession for his lack of progress. All of this seriousness and level-headedness sounds great, but what's that without a little fun and spontaneity? If a guy can make me laugh and appreciate my quirks and randomness, then that is just perfect! He should be cultured and open-minded. I enjoy learning about new things, and rarities like classical music, the arts, and philosophy excite me. It would be great if he were really willing to try different things with me and engage in the occasional discussion on such. Now for the looks...I don't really care about this part too much. Of course, I should be attracted to be him but I'm open to different races, body types, heights, etc. Though, the kind of guy I see in my dreams is handsome with a warm and welcoming smile. He has a nice build preferably someone with a little muscle because hey, who wouldn't like being scooped up into their man's arms? He would be romantic, patient, and gentle, catering to me like a Queen. As for my ideal guy in the bedroom...hehe let's just say that he wouldn't be a first-timer. Right now, my ideal types would have to be Seo In Guk, Choi Minho, Kim Jonghyun and Kris Wu. Personally, I think I watch too many K videos and drama, but hey *shrugs* I love it!

6- What is your hight?

I'm a shorty lol. I just got my height measured the other day. I'm 5'5 and half. Woo!

7- What is your style in clothes?

I don't really have a particular style. It's more of a vintage, laid-back kind of look. I LOVE floral print, skinny jeans and converse. I would like to wear more girly things like heels, dresses and cute little blazers because I think that they look nice. That's a whole other hurdle that I have to jump over, but one day I'll be daring and give it a try.

8- Do you believe that you can make your K-Pop bias fall for you, if you had the chance?

You know, I think about this every day. So many international fans worry that their "oppa" won't like them because they're not pale, skinny or Korean, but I'm not worried at all. Most of them HAVE to say this because of their loyalty to their Korean fans. I'm sure that if a girl that they found attractive introduced herself, they wouldn't be too quick to turn her away. We have to realize that they are MEN before they are Korean. Men love curves and other different features that make a woman beautiful. So to answer you question, YES YES YES. I think that I'm a pretty charming and attractive person, and if my bias were to meet me, he would be swooned. HANDS DOWN. Not to sound conceited but just saying lol. I got mad skills!

9- Do you think the Mono Lisa is beautiful?

Most definitely! I think that Mona Lisa displayed a different kind of beauty that was rarely shown in art. In my opinion, I think that every woman has something about her that makes her beautiful. She could be a supermodel or the plain Jane with a warm heart that makes her loving and caring. Mona Lisa gave us, the viewer, so much without displaying all her goods (if you catch my drift).

10- Why did you choose your username?

To be honest, my username was very random. I think that N3RDLogic says a lot. The logic of the qoute-on-quote "Nerd" aka Me is what came to mind. I have so much wisdom and words that I like to sprinkle here and there on AFF.

11- What are your favorite scents? ( be specific. )

I like a really light floral scent combined with vanilla (i.e. lavender vanilla). It's the right amount of femininity and essence without being excessive. On the other hand, I do like fruity scents like pomegranate, strawberry and raspberry. I think that if its applied lightly that it can stop a man in his tracks.

Okay, I'm not going to tag people with this post because so many of my friends have already done it LOL. I really enjoyed answering these two sets of questions. They were really interesting. I think what I'll do is post some questions here, and those who want to answer them can do so in the comments section.

1. If there was anything that you could change about AFF, what would it be? (no bashing please)

2. What makes you beautiful?/What makes a girl most beautiful? (her looks, her personality, etc.)

3. Do you consider yourself an introvert (shy/reserved) or an extrovert (outgoing)? Why?

4. Who is your k-pop bias? Why?

5. If given the opportunity, what would you do to impress and gain the attention of your bias?

6. In your opinion, what makes a story good? (good plot, pacing, characters, etc.)

7. If you could makes changes to the hectic world of K-pop, what would you change? (more breaks for the idols, less strict diets, etc.)

8. Do you see yourself as more of Visionary/Leader or a Follower? Why?

9. Do you know any foreign languages? If so, which ones? If not, which ones would you like to learn?

10. Do you believe that your bias would date outside of his race, if given the chance? Why?

11. Last Question. What's your favorite trend in fashion right now?

8- I see myself more as a visionary leader. I like to influence people around me. Of coarse in a positive way. I want to become a role model. I love to speak publicly and explain and help others a lot. And I feel like my opinion is a good one. I feel like I can make greatness someday and I want to share it. With the rest of the world.

9- my native language is Arabic. I learned English when I was eleven because we went to the states.
I want to learn Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and French.

10- yes. Because like you said before, he is a man before he is Korean. I guess all that is left in this situation is the right woman. And circumstances.

11- I really like what they show on Korean dramas lately. Except for those huge furry jackets. I don't like them. But I guess that in my case it all is awesome and I am more of a person that would wear everything. You know? Like I just want to be fit enough and I'll pull off all of these styles! I think I can. =>

Could you share your answers on your own questions?
I feel like we choose these questions because we want to discuss these specific topics a little more, right?

Peace out!

Here goes my answers:

1- to be honest so far everything here has been good.
But there is one thing that annoys me, it is the box where you write your blog post or story. For some reason I can't pin point why it annoys me, but it does. Oh and maybe they change the layout a bit. You know so it can look a bit modernized. It isn't bad but sometimes going through change makes something's more exciting!

2- appearance is always what catches the eyes first. But then personality comes and clears the view.
Be it really beautiful or truly ugly. Or both. ^_^

3- I consider myself both. I have moments where I am completely outgoing and then there's moments when I am suddenly shy and can't say much. I even surprise and burn myself sometimes. But mostly I guess I am more outgoing than an introvert.

4- Choi Seunghyun a.k.a. TOP. First kpop idol I laid eyes on and he attracted me so freakin much.
His voice. His attitude.

5- I don't know!!!
That question haunts me the most when it comes to that possibility.
I probably will pray to not make a fool of myself and do something awesome. Then I go for it, whatever it is.

6- everything all together.

7- I don't know, I feel like it is hectic the way it is because it should be. And that if someone doesn't like it they should save them selves and get out as soon as they can. But if I wanted to change something for the ones in it already I would want them to have relationships and be ok about it. Not having to hide it and other people in the media shouldn't call it a scandal. I mean what is scandalous about having a relationship?
Secondly the idols we love should remember that they are human before they are idols. The people that handle their schedules or them should take care of their sleep and their eating habits. I mean me as a fan would not mind that Big Bang takes an entire year without having a comeback as long as I know that they are healthy and working at a good pace. Because I love them and want what's best for them.

I'll make sure to answer your questions as soon as I can tomorrow.
Right now it is very late, so I'll be heading to my bed.

Peace out!

P.S. I totally enjoyed reading your amazing answers!
Your view on things is so similar to mine, I fangirled all the way through!
My sister and I were saying stuff like " I love this girl! " and " I want to meet her! "

7. (continued- sorry XD) I don't really think that it's initially the company's fault for doing these things, but more the public's expectations on image.

8. I think I could be both. I am mostly a follower, because I feel that I'm inexperienced in life and lessons that I know that I will fail or fall apart. At home, I'm a leader; my mom can be in a mess, and so I have to lead her, and my friends may be older than me, but I can be a leader for them emotionally. So, I'm a follower, physically, but I'm a leader emotionally.

9. I know Japanese- I took it in high school for the first 2 years, then I had to stop because I moved, and I plan on taking it again in college in the spring. I would love to speak all the Asian languages, just because.

10. Yes, maybe. I think that he would be a bit uncomfortable and awkward, but I'm pretty sure he could adapt, since that's what he's kinda been doing all his career, since he auditioned.

11. Oooohh, don't give me that question!! >< Well, I have no clue about the girls' fashion trend that I like, or have as a favorite (even though I'm a girl, myself-- I'm a tomboy, and stopped being interested in girl things when I was 9!! I'm the manliest girl you will ever meet!!) but in terms of the men's fashion trend: glasses with a sweater/sweater vest, jeans, scarf, khaki jacket, and dress shoes, with maybe a beanie, is my favorite fashion trend. Perfect for the fall/winter weather!

Me likey these questions!

1. I don't really think that there's a whole lot to change. I personally don't like change, unless I decide I want the change. AFF is perfect in it's own way, and it shouldn't be like any other site.

2. I don't think I'm beautiful (I mean, have you SEEN what I look like?? XD) and I don't really believe I look beautiful just because I don't really believe them. The only thing, however, is that I think my smile is beautiful. What makes a girl beautiful is her personality, for being herself. She may look ugly to other people, but I love girls who have a wonderful personality and love being themselves for who they are, whether their uality, race, language, anything is what separates them from others.

3. That's a toughie for me. If you know me, then I'm extroverted, but to new people, I'm really introverted. But, overall, i'm really introverted, and my family doesn't know that I'm very very introverted.

4. Umm, in male and female? XD Male: U-Know Yunho. Female: Amber XD But overall, I'd say U-Know Yunho.

5. Well, I thought of that before. I wouldn't do anything. I mean, i could flirt the whole time, but maybe they don't like flirting. I love being myself, and if you show someone that part of you, I think they'd fall for you all the time. Not being cliche, but I know that's true.

6. Well, I think that's up for debate within me. What makes a story good is the emotions you can feel. Who cares about the characters, the plot, the storyline, if you don't have the emotions you have for it? It's not a story if you have no emotions.

7. This is something that I never considered before until the time apart between TVXQ and JYJ in 2009, the year I joined. Even after, I never thought about it, to be honest. I think what needs to be changed is just the fact that a company needs to be a bit more humane with their artists. It sounds like that it's basically everything the company is doing, but all they're just following the wants of the public and what we want to see.(pt2 next)
