As the title suggested, today's broadcast of Immortal Song 2 marks Siwan n Taeheon first stage appearance in Immortal Song 2.

i've been out of loop with ZE:A updates lately since i'm a little lazy to check my twitter ever so often...so...did anyone know if there's new news of the members recording for Immortal Song 2? or are they done with it? i hope not. b'cuz c'mon....the crowd obviously love them n look forward to them. i can't say in comparison to any other artistes...bcuz i don't even watch full ZE:A cuts n i don't watch the whole show either. that's why i never compared if ZE:A perf is better than their rival or not. bcuz i don't watch their rival most time. i can only compare when i watch in order to not be annoying-biased freaky fan-who-think-oppar-ish-the-besh-without-having-to-watch-any-other-singers-sigh-opparrrrrr

- i'm not really feeling the song but i'm not feeling most patriotic songs either....so yeah...but i think it is a very smart choice. ZE:A is working their skills to woo the crowd in the best ways. choosing a patriotic song is really damn smart bcuz not only they get to make the fangirls happy(okay...cmon...fangirls happy with anything n everything) but they also get to spread their appeal to older generation. and the rendition is not done in slowww/traditional way(though i didn't check out the original anyway) but sounds umm, modernized a lil? but the crowd n particularly the ahjummas still love it n enjoy it....that happens with all their immortal song 2 stages...no matter what kinda song they sing...and here, even ahjussi in suit enjoy it...cmon...everyone lurves ZE:A. why? cuz they rockz. you can try to deny it but you know being in denial of a fact is not healthy. lol.

- i'm not a big fan of how vocals aren't really emphasized here though. i think Dongjun did great. but Dongjun always get to showcase his high notes anyway n the good thing is he never mess up. but i want to hear another side of Dongjun by now already. i want to hear how he would fare with lower notes. Siwan n Kevin gets lower parts. which i'm not so fond of....they tend to get overpowered a bit by the music. i can tell that Siwan is much better at mid notes n high notes especially. he has the power n sharpness in his voice that others don't have. i mean the sharpness. i acknowledge that Dongjun has power in his voice too. Kevin, meanwhile...idk....he did okay with his low notes but strangely, not outstanding for me...when music is minimal....Kevin's low notes can sound good....but when he has to compete with loud music...he just sort of not outstanding imo...Kevin's singing forte is more about his stylistic singing n the soul n his amazing control n range. Dongjun is more about the power n also great control....and Siwan, i'd say...a combination of power n stylistic? especially when he stresses his delivery... if you've seen him perform song covers like THIS AND THIS...you'll know what i'm saying. (excuse my extra effort on proving Siwan's singing ability-it's just that i love his singing haa) so....it's hard to comment much for this perf. it's not like they did badly....it's just that their forte in vocals aren't highlighted as i hoped they would, and in Dongjun's case...i hoped for his range ability to be explored/showcased on IS2 stages too. but they're focusing more on overall audience enjoyment i guess....and if it works for them then it's fine. i just hope they'd one day give careful consideration on showcasing the maximum level of their singing talent/abilities too....bcuz the audience....honestly, they already secured the audience...and i'm sure the audience would be even more jawdropped once they realize the level of ZE:A members ability, other than bringing on enjoyable stages. and by that i mean, all members who were performing on stage...not just the same few ones.

- one thing i'm really really unhappy with....this is Siwan's and Taeheon's first stage...and i'm not even sure if they'd get to be on the show again...and how much were they wasted???? especially Taeheon! come on!!! the song barely has raps and all he get to sing is Daehan Minguk and Uri-ye Uri-ye Daehan Minguk.....are you freaking kidding me??????? i'm not concerned about Minu cuz he's like....secured a place in all perfs in IS2 along Kevin n Dongjun.... but i have expectations for the ones who get their rare chances....and that's all i get? hnnngggg. can you imagine how wtf is my face now? no you can't you know, there are many rappers out there who can't sing for ...even rappers from a few other of my other fav groups mostly can't sing or sing horribly. But Taeheon can sing. He has good controls over his voice and he has really nice singing voice too. so why not? if Minu can rap, then why must Heechul n Taeheon be restricted to raps even for songs that barely has rap parts?

- Lastly...the gimmicks. they sure use a lot of gimmicks/props for this perf, and i think it works well with the theme n patriotic spirit. i don't think it distract anything of their singing ability...so it's all good....

- and seeing the comments on akp..i'm happy seeing comments saying they're the best idol group in IS2......though i can't give any of my 2cents about it...since umm...i don't watch other idolgroups....but lol at the comment reply that just had to bring in that one group. hahah... *rolling eyes with angelic smile*

- and umm, i feel the need to make less appearance talking about ZE:A....bcuz if you had seen THIS blogpost....you'll know i'm feeling very bothered with perceptions of other fans about my 'significance'/ as much as it's a compliment/flattering of some sort...i really hate expectations. it's that expectation that made me refrain from being into the fandom...i'm used to being insignificant n that's how i can post whatever ranting i want. once you have some sort of "status" you no longer can be your self entirely n many times you become overprotective/defensive n would never admit to any flaw of your idol which c'mon....is obviously untrue n just biasedness(but i'll admit i turn into that kind of fan in netizenbuzz bcuz that place is just filled with ugly/blind pure vile sentiments n ignorance in the comments)...even now...it's bcuz i'm insignificant that i'm brave enough to post my honest thoughts on what's lacking in their perfs in my opinion. i'm sure even you peeps can see how different my opinions are than 'the true ardent fans of ZE:A'...guess what? this is me. i'm not a stan who worship every single thng abt them, i'm just an unbiased normal fan. please don't expect more than i can give. i get upset when people tell me what i should do/say/think as a so n so fan(it doesn't just happen with ZE:A but other groups i like but am able to give unbiased n unsugarcoated comments to, as well, sometimes the hardcore fans even think of me as a hater bcuz i'm telling what could be improved n didn't worship oppar/unnir flawlessness. really? haha.) ...like i said...i'm a free individual with all the rights to myself n i don't need to be taught what to think/say/do. i never forced anyone to agree with me, but you can't force me to agree with you either.

and just bcuz i got an idea to do this ZE:A series thingy...which i'm not sure how many even read...lol....doesn't mean i'm claiming exclusive rights.....you can do one on your own....feel free....the more exposure on them, the better.....i've nothing to lose anyway. it's not like i get paid or anything. lol.
