Small extract from Lament; The Seeress. This happened when Mink and Jae meet, somewhere near the beginning-middle of the story I think. It'll be editted and crap like that, this is only the draft. 

The girl opened her eyes as the light died down. Her surroundings were dark and sorrowful, the remains of a planet that shouldn’t exist anymore. There was no one and Jae panicked – where had Chris and Ryan gone? She’d stepped into the timeline with them, but was it possible that they had been separated somewhere along the way? Would she be able to find them again?
“You came.” A woman called, drawing the girl’s attention to her. Her skin was pale and grey and her dark hair flowed freely around her. She looked completely at home in the dead world, and yet a pain found itself filling Jae’s heart. The woman was beyond happy, like she had wished something better would become of the world.
“Excuse me… But, where is everyone?” Jae asked the young looking woman perched atop a rock, her face pointed downwards as she stared meekly at her hands.
Black hair blew in the wind and covered the woman’s tear stricken face as she refused to look at the girl in front of her. “They left. They all left – to go to the ocean of stars. But then, a blinding light covered the sky, and the stars were gone. Now all that’s left is the pitch darkness that looks down on this pitiful world.” The woman lifted her head, green eyes blankly staring at the brown haired teenager. “Why Jae? Why didn’t you save us like you promised you would? I waited- living through the timelines just as you have – waiting for you to show up again and fix the path the world was leading to. Why didn’t you help Jae? Why did you let it end like this?”
Jae took a step back in shock. Who was this woman? Why was she able to travel the timelines – to live in the like she had? “Who…?”
The woman stood and smiled slightly. “My name is Mink. Perhaps we are yet to meet in the time you travel in?” She spoke in a questioning tone but somehow gave Jae the impression she was not supposed to answer. “When we meet, I beg of you – do not promise me something you cannot bring. Don’t allow me to sit and wait for an eternity. But also do not give up. This world needs you; you’re the only one left.”
