Shin Yin seems cold and distant at first, but is actually a really lively and bouncy girl when you get to know her. She is quite a prankster and loves skinship with the members in the group. She always puts others before herself, and is willing to sacrifice her own happiness just to see the people she care about to be happy. She hates it when people sacrifice themselves for her. She tends to daydream alot and is quite slow in knowing the happenings around her, therefore always getting reprimanded by the other members. Shin Yin loves to seek attention from her group especially their leader. She never gives up in what she do, especially her passion for Singing and Dancing (She LIVES to sing and dance). How you were discovered:

Shin Yin always had the deepest passion for singing and dancing. When SNSD had arrived in Singapore for a concert, Shin Yin was given a vip pass to backstage by Sunny as she is her beloved cousin. While watching SNSD perform on stage, Shin Yin had unknowingly been singing out loud and dancing along while watching them perform from backstage. SNSD’s manager took notice of Shin Yin and had requested for her to audition for SM Entertainment, and that was where she was chosen to join as a trainee. Shin Yin’s family stayed behind in Singapore while Shin Yin left for Korea and was asked to continue her academics as a foreign student in Seoul Academy Of The Arts.
