Hye Sun's personality isn't the most exciting. She's not dull, but she isn't spontaneous either. She's simple; she has things she likes and things she dislies just as anyone else would. She is generally a sweet girl - even a bit of a pushover - but she can be blunt and sarcastic when the situation calls for it. She is known for being judgemental, and is quick to decide whether she likes a person or not; her judgements are usually accurate. Hye Sun was born a country girl. Her parents were famers; heck, everyone was a farmer! Her life was fairly simple, and she liked it that way. Unfortunately, their house burned down and Hey Sun and her family moved in with her uncle and his family in Busan when she was eight. She and her cousins got along well, and she also did well in school. She also played sports in her spare time. When she was twelve, she got to spend two weeks in Los Angeles because of the study abroad program. Her love for languages began there, and she continued to study English even after she returned home. At fifteen, Hye Sun became a trainee. She had always loved to sing, and after much convincing from her mother and younger sister, she took part in the contest. Out of 300 participants, she somehow managed to finish second, and was scouted by a Woolim agent.

trainee life: Trainee life was hard. She had to move to Seoul, and Hye Sun couldn't go home often. Vocal training was easiest for her, but she did have a problem with pitch sometimes. The other types of training were more difficult, but she pushed through it. She made a few friends, and a few enemies too. After only three years of training she was told she was going to debut the following year, and she began practicing with the other chosen girls.
