Personality: Jared is a closeted nerd. When he was growing up, he was always that kid who would spend his days inside playing video games, and playing childish card games like YuGiOh. He was also that straight A nerd in the back. Girls used to get frustrated because he was so good looking, but had strange interests.  When he got into the entertainment agency (it was supposed to be just a thing for himself; he never told anyone he liked singing, but one of the girls from his school saw him and told everyone) he decided that his interests would never get him anywhere. He became this cool guy that really liked nothing but music; on the outside of course. Jared is still a huge nerd at heart. When he’s not outside with his friends, he’s locked inside his room playing games (Most likely League of Legends). Jared really is a sweetheart, and may be easily hurt because of this. He never learned to hate anyone, and falls for everything. His tone is mostly sarcastic , but only because he is trying to mask the hidden geekiness.

 FAMILY

Jared only had one parent while growing up: his mom. His mother never told him what happened to his father, so he has no idea if he’s with some other woman, dead, or still single somewhere in Korea. He had two older brothers who were VERY different from him. They were both just as good looking, but knew exactly what to say to girls to make them swoon and sigh. His mother told him not to be like them, so he became the exact opposite. Growing up, the only person he really ever got attached to was his mother, so leaving her when he was 14 was painful for him.

Triva: Unless its from someone older, Jared dislikes it when people call him Hyunsu.

Even though he doesn’t like it, he is used to introducing himself as Hyunsu, so if he sees progress in the friendship, he will tell them to call him Jared.

Jared really likes Death Note, he even carried one around for the hell of it when he was a beginning Trainee.

Aside from a complete gamer, he is a really HUGE fanboy of a lot of girl groups. Especially of Miss A’s Suzy. He is her biggest fanboy.

He has always secretly wanted a girlfriend he could fall asleep next to.
