So instead of taking notes like a good student in English Lecture (English is my major too OTL) I have been slacking off and starting oneshots. Heck I'm procrastinating on an English essay right now by posting this(the essay is due in two day *head desk*).

This was my valentines inspired drabble which is incomplete which is why I am posting it here. If I post it as a regular fic then people will want me to finish it and I don't know if that will happen.

Hana sat on the park bench, alone, watching as the couples walked by smiling and happy. A tear threatened to escape but she clenched her fists, nails leaving crescent like marks in her palms. On the bench beside her was a carefully wrapped box of chocolates, caringly made by hand, a gift that would never be received.

 

Today was supposed to be a happy day, a day of love and friendship. That had all been shattered with a simple "We're over" text from her so-called loving now ex- boyfriend Taesun. There had been no warning, no explanation, just that cold and emotionless sentence. She couldn’t help but wonder what had happened as only two days ago he had dropped her off at home and kissed her, telling her he was excited for their date on Valentine's day. And yet it didn’t hurt as much as she expected. Hana knew she wasn't the best at showing her emotions and she liked her personal space and time alone.  Maybe that was why…

 

With a sigh she looked up at the fluffy white clouds, enjoying their pure contrast against the blue sky. She was so immersed in her moment she didn’t notice the young man sit beside her on the bench.

 

"Are the clouds really that interesting?" an unfamiliar voice asked, startling Hana out of her reverie. She turned to the young man sitting beside her, his large grey scarf and thick black rimmed glasses obscuring his features slightly and yet he had a look of familiarity. His hair was a dyed caramel blonde, a stark contrast to her own inky black hair. He had a faint accent, she noticed, but only barely so. 

 

Hana shrugged, "They're peaceful and calming."

 

The stranger nodded, then pointed a gloved finger at the chocolates on the bench between them, "Are you waiting for your boyfriend? I can leave if you want, I wouldn't want to create misunderstanding."

 

"No, it's okay, they were, but not anymore." Hana smiled sadly.

 

"Oh, um, well then, sorry for mentioning anything" the man looked away awkwardly as he tried to speak.

 

"It's no big deal, I guess we didn’t click or something like that…"

 

"How long were you guys together, if you don't mind me asking?" he looked at her curiously.

 

"Would have been six months on next Saturday,"

 

The young man looked a her in surprise, "Why aren’t you like crying? Or blowing up his phone, or I dunno, stomping on the box of chocolates screaming curses on him?"

 

Hana giggled, "I'm going to guess you've dated some crazy girls."

 

The stranger smiled, "You could say something like that, anyways I'm Kris."

 

"Hana."

 

"Nice to meet you Hana, so wanna ditch this bench and get bubble tea as single people enjoying each other's company in a non-ual or love related relationship?  I'm talking strictly platonic here."

 

"Sure why not." Hana smiled as she and the Kris got up, carefully tucking the chocolates into her white messenger bag.

 

The warmth of the bubble tea shop was greatly welcomed after sitting out in the cold for so long. After grabbing their orders, two green tea bubble teas, they able to secure a slightly private booth near the back of the shop.  As Kris loosened his scarf Hana almost let out a gasp. Sitting in across from her was no other than the Chinese leader of EXO-M. Now she realized why he looked familiar and felt slightly stupid for not connecting his name and face.

 

Kris smirked at her slightly shocked expression, "I'm going to guess you know who I am."

 

Hana nodded, "Just give me a moment to process this. I am sitting across from the Kris Wu of EXO-M."

 

"The one and only."

 

"And I'm having a surprisingly calm reaction to this whole situation."

 

"Thankfully."

 

"Wow this is kinda, well, crazy. Aren’t you afraid of being attacked by fangirls?" Hana asked curiously.

 

Kris took a sip of his bubble tea before answering, "Even us idols want a bit of normalcy in our lives. If I could have it my way I would be out on a date with the person I love," Kris looked at his bubble tea and sighed, "but I have to face the reality that I can’t so I figured I'd go out and just enjoy the day as best I could. I was walking when I saw you staring at the clouds. Your expression was sad, much like my own and I thought that just maybe, I had found someone I could share today with."

 

"Thank you for trusting me with this," Hana reached out and touched his hand.

 

"The guys would think me crazy for it, they'd tell me I'm taking a huge risk talking with you."

 

Hana shook her head, "Holding in your feelings isn’t a good thing, I learned that today. I promise you Kris, with all my heart, I will never repeat anything you have said to me today."

 

Kris pouted, a slightly out of place expression on his normally stoic face, "This feels like a therapy session for some reason."

 

"If that’s the case I charge by the hour and I like to be paid in bubble teas." Hana grinned as she tapped his drink with her own. "So tell me about this person you love, what are they like?"

 

Kris smiled, "They have a great personality, just being in the same room can brighten up you day. Their best features are their eyes and smile. We don’t get to see each other very much, but when we do I try and see them as much as possible."

 

"That’s really sweet,"

 

Kris blushed and rubbed the back of his head, "This is kind of embarrassing, I haven’t told anyone this, not even the other guys. I don't think they'd understand or even accept it," His expression darkened and he looked away.

 

It took a moment but it was like a light bulb going off in Hana's head. Cautiously she choose her words, "Do the other members know, about you and…" Hana lowered her voice, "him?"
