Idol Training?

Sooo... How will you react if I say that I might have a chance to go to Korea to be trained as an Idol next year? If it was your choice, will you go? I mean, you have to leave everything in your country and go to Korea for two or three years. Will you go for it? One of the guys I just met a month ago is in a group which is going to be send to Korea for Idol training. He's like, a part-time model right now and apparently, the manager thinks that he's very promising because he knows how to dance and he looks like a star. Yes, due to his golden hair. I swear, that color is seriously hideous, but people seemed to like it, especially the girls.

Anyways, he's going to Korea next year and he's finding members to join his group. So far, he has several guy members--- who are OH SO HAWT, being tall and chinese and all. He needs to find girl members but nobody seems to be interested. Well... I AM!!!! :D Wud? It's Korea got god sakes! I WANT TO GO TO KOREA! Especially if it's training in dancing and singing. The good news is that I fit the description they are looking for for the girls-- being at least 160cm tall. I'm like, 165cm... so meaning I can join, since I like performing, even though I am fat. But who cares? I'll slim down once I get training. Oh, and there's one problem. I'm not sure if I can go. Cause, you know... I can't really make the decisions myself andf I need to talk to my parents about it. But my big important exam is not over yet, so I don't really want to mention about it. And I'm pretty sure that they won't let me -.- If I want to go to Korea, I have to comfirm everything before telling my friend that I want to join him -.- the efffff!!!

So, any advice or opinions?

it's really up to you, but it's a BIG DECISION, not something to be taken lightheartedly. being an idol is not all fame and glory; it's a tough stage on which they stand. and of course, respect your parents' decision too~ :)
if you're sure of what you're doing then go ahead with what you want~ :)

Hmmm it's a hard choice.. But I would say go.
I mean, it's a really rare opportunity, so I think you should give it your best shot.
Either way, I wish you good luck!! ^^

Wow, It'd sure be an Amazing Opportunity. I'd love to go to Korea, I really enjoy singing and dancing but.. I can't do them both xD So I wouldn't be able to unless I trained for atleast 4 years. I Honestly need the basics, haha. Well, I Hope your friend has Goodluck.
