Personality ;
Lee Hwaran is one proudful person and chef... He is confident about his ability and creativity when it's come to cooking. He usually pretty much an outgoing person as he could befriended anyone just within minutes after they've met for the first time. People will judge him as someone who have a delightful attitude and full of confidence.
But this pride of his is something that could get him into a lot of trouble as well. He will never acknowledge anyone calling his cooking inferior to someone else. He will tends to seek for confirmation by directly challenging the person that he being compared to into a Cooking Match (A Private One Of Course). But being a champion of a regional Cooking Championship he only acknowledge a handful of people to be better than him. He is one arrogant man when it comes to his cooking... thus plenty of time he will end up fighting with anyone who mocks his cooking.
Background ;
Lee Hwaran was born in Gwangju at 22 April 1990 into a small family consisting of his parents and his younger sister. He attended his Junior High School and his Senior High School at the local schools. He started to get interested in cooking when he was at the 1st grade of Junior High School. It was when he comes to a restaurant that cooks their food right in front of their customer. From there on he learned the basic of cooking from his mother and then will try to cook the recipes that he could found.
When Lee Hwaran was at his 3rd grade of Junior High School her mother passed away because of cancer. This events devastated the whole family as they have lost the source of their happiness in their life. Hwaran's father decided that they should moved into Seoul as Gwangju somehow bringing a bad memories of the passing of their loved one. When Hwaran finished his Senior High School, they finally moved to Seoul to start a new life there. Hwaran decided to go to the Kyung Hee University majoring in Culinary Science and Art as it is being his interest and he's pretty much skilled due to his extensive use and training in Cooking.

Ryu Hwayoung is the only person that he could tolerate even if she is mocking his cooking... because he knows that Hwayoung is just joking. and mostly... Hwayoung is his first crush. He never tells her how is he feeling... as he is scared of being rejected and then lose a good friend.

Scene Request ;
- Before becoming a couple: Hwaran requested to borrow the Kitchen and requested for some help from the other workers to cook something special for romantic dinner where he would confess his feeling for her.
- After becoming a couple: Hwaran, his sister and some of the workers working on a special surprise to celebrate his girlfriend's success of attaining and award in her job as a singer. A simple party where only friends and family are invited.
