personality:

➤ Realistic is Jaesong's middle name. Because of her living conditions, she never deludes herself into hoping for the best; "If you want something to get done, do it your self"  is a saying she lives by. She does what she can to get by even if her actions and occupations are not the most dignifying and acceptable jobs in society. She is brutally honest to herself and accepts reality whether it kills her or not. This, in result, has made her somewhat bitter about her own life and choices as well as others. Though she is bitter, she does not let it get in the way of getting jobs done as she likes to keep business and pleasure separate. She is very strict with herself and doesn't like to make mistakes, as she has done before.

Though she doesn't know it, she often is cruel to her own self, choosing to torture herself with horrid nightmares and disturbing memories she calls her own life. Faults, regrets, blame, they are the script of her mentality, and often decide to arise at night when she's alone. Oddly enough, she doesn't seem to mind. In fact, she thinks she deserves it, considering all of the wicked deeds she's done thus far. She believes she is too deep in sin for even God to save her, and that she'll be damned to hell no matter how much she begs for forgiveness. After all, she finds it indescribably difficult to forgive her own self and others as well. She hold grudges like she holds her decisions —  in a steel grip. Though she could care less about outside appearances, inside, she is an absolute show, and everything about her is a monster. And in her mind, it's ugly, ugly, ugly, and horrendous, and revolting, and why is someone like her still living?

In the prescence of others, she is displayed as a homeless who is confident of proud of it. However, this is not the case. Jaesong is confident because of her skill and adaptation to even survive by herself at the young age of 6. It is not the confidence of her current situation and shamelessness; it is the confidence of a woman who has gone through hell and back and is still standing tall against the glares of those better off. With strangers, she regards them cooly, not cold but not friendly either. In fact, everyone could know her and talk to her on a daily basis as if they were friends, and they would not know a thing about her, not even her favorite color. It is natural instinct for her to keep everyone at an arm's length to prevent any more faults and mistakes that would end up in a case like Changmin's. So it is not the uncomfortable feeling she gets when meeting new people, but the guilt that keeps her from doing so.

Garnered from her years of doing shameful jobs, she has gained skills a usual homeless person normally wouldn't have. When gazed upon closely, she is swift, graceful, and her footsteps are unnervingly quiet. When she speaks, she is exquisitely eloquent and knows how to lead the conversation in her direction and charm a man into blabbering information she needs. Not only that, she knows her way around her katana and knows how to make the unlikeliest of objects into deadly weapons. In a way, she is like a snow leopard. Sneaky, quiet, swift, but untamed and unpredictable. No matter what, she always gets the job done, even it challenges her own values (what little of them she has).

Jaesong sees the world in black in white and has never handled the color gray well. It's either this or that —   not anything in between. She hasn't been passionate in anything and doesn't affiliate her time with things trivial or a waste of time. She is frank with others and doesn't have much of an attitude unless provoked. She is beautiful —  not in looks specifically, but in the way she carries herself with confidence even if she does degrading jobs. She is a woman who has lost everything relatively important to her and lives on every single day with the grudge on the world in a steel grip.

➤ Jaesong was an accident. Her parents never expected to have a child, and though they seemed pleased to have a daughter on the outside, it frustrated them greatly knowing that they had to feed another mouth. Jaesong's parents were not of those in high society, and certainly were not of regular, normal folk. Instead, they worked like they lived for it and call the slums of Seoul their home. Throughout her time spent with her parents as a child, she was used to their verbal abuse and occasional hits, thinking that it was normal. She thought that children were venting machines that allowed their parents to feel better, even if she did cry afterwards. As time went on, the hits became more frequent and the meals became lesser in variety and portions, and before they knew it, they were evicted and left homeless to live out in the streets.

With no money and no where to live, her parents saw their daughter as extra, heavy baggage and abandoned her at the age of 6, convincing their daughter that they had business to attend to and children were not allowed. For two days, Jaesong waited, and when it became evident that they left her, she bawled her eyes out for another two days. Ever since then, she's constructed an impenetrable skin and invicible walls; throughout her life, she's gone through many teachers who have either died or left and has gained a combination of street smarts and survival skills/tactics. Even though she may not do the most dignifying jobs (drug dealing, stealing, assassination), there is no doubt that she does them with the pride and dignity that she's earned by surviving by herself.

However, even if she went through hardships and has grown a tough skin, it is not impoosible to get within her heart. Jaesong met Changmin at the age of 22 when he was roaming the streets tipsy with a frustrated heart and confided in her, a complete and total stranger. Though he could not see her hidden beneath the darkness of night, he came back every night after that and made an effort to speak to her. Familiarity turned into trust then into friendship, and for Changmin, it turned into infatuation. For a year, they were the best of friends, and Jaesong was content with the acceptance of one another, even if they were as despicable as the devil and as tainted as the lives they lead. When Changmin died, her heart was torn to absolute shreads, and she couldn't breathe. It wasn't until later that she finds out that the Royal Family had been coaxing to him to join them, and that when he declined, they killed him in anger and pride. Henceforth, she has grown an unexplicable hatred for them, and when hearing about the rebellion, she joined.

When she's not at work, she is around with other men behind her rich "boyfriend's" back. Self-centered and an emotional mess on the inside, she will do anything for money. | Whereas Jaesong's father would be physically abusive, her mother was verbally abusive. She was always commenting on how distasteful her daughter looked when she looked no better and that Jaesong was going to be a when she grew older. She wouldn't even touch her own daughter unless necessary.

It is rumored that he has been looking after a young woman after he was seen inviting said woman into his dwelling. A year later, he was found dead in an alley. Police speculate that assassins were hired, considering the cleanliness of death but are not certain. | Just as Jaesong is, Changmin is callously realistic and regards her with a cool attitude. However, there are other times in which he teases and plays pranks on her. In his eyes, she was his hope after he had lost hope, with no job and no close friend. He considered her to be a potential lover, but never had the chance to pursue her because of his untimely death. He often makes her forget the harshness of the world she was forced to live in.

Often described as ditzy in Jaesong's book, she seems as if she is always in her little world and may look as if she's mental. However, though she always looks like she's in a daydream-like state, she sometimes provides hidden philosophical advice to Jaesong without ever knowing. | She and Jaesong are acquaintances and only ever see each other when Jaesong is passing by. Sometimes Jaesong likes to talk to her for a few mintues, and in that time, Seolyun acts as if Jaesong can see the little world that exists in her head. She is kind to Jaesong, and at the times where Jaesong needs it most, she unconciously provides her philisophical advice hidden in her words.

➤ After he was notified that Jaesong had joined the rebellion and was the descendent of one of the original six that brought down the Southern Kingdom, he sought out to destroy her. Then, he learned that she was the woman whom Changmin was so infatuated with and created a certain interest in her; for who could be so special as to have Shim Changmin be so infatuated with her?

How do you act around each other?
➤ If they were ever to meet, Donghae would act playful around her, teasing her, trying to find more about her. Jaesong, however, would spit at him, shoot derogatory remarks, and glare at him until he dropped dead right before her eyes.

the rat's traits: Sneaky and unloyal to everyone but himself, Jinhyun will betray anyone and everyone for his own personal gain. He has only ever stayed loyal to the rebellion because in a way, he was being loyal to his own opinions and values. Persuasive and slick, he can turn the direction of a conversation to whatever he desires it to be and get him out of any difficult situation. Weak against children, he is a lone wolf who has learned how to get by himself and only himself. He is sometimes a conman and is often on the run. He is confident of his abilities but never gets cocky because he knows it could get him killed. Though he has traits of being untrustworthy, he does sometimes give in to trying to help kids the best he can and leave without giving credit to himself.
the worst sin: Getting her best friend and a child killed
the reason: She learned that the Royal Family tried to recruit Changmin into their circle to which he refused. Angry, they heard about Jaesong and used her to get to Changmin by pretending to be people interested in making a deal. Oblivious to it all, Jaesong was then tracked by them and  killed Changmin right before her eyes, getting a child murdered in the crossfire.

love interest: Kim Jaejoong | 26 | Head of the Quibus group | Enemies | Jaejoong, in short, has a stick up his . He's strict, unpredictable, and commanding - everything Jaesong despises in a person. If there is something that's wrong or dramatically damaging, trust Jaejoong to handle it. He is serious most of the time (except around a few special people) and keeps a strict arms-length relationship with many. However, despite that, he is also quite charismatic, dependable, and elegant. He is smooth with his words and can bend those of business world and the media to his bidding. He is coldly calculating and sees things without the hindrance of emotions. He is less of a people person, seeing as he has the empathy level of a broom, and he prefers being alone with his work. He is hardly ever lost and always seems to know the right thing to do even when no one else has a clue. He is a natural leader.

How you met each other:
➤ I'm not quite sure what you had in plan for Jaejoong, so I'll let you do what you want for this part. Jaesong could have stolen many of their multiple businesses, and she was caught. Then, Jaejoong could request to see her just to see the infamous face that's robbed his stores countlessly. Maybe they could either meet at the jail, or she could be brought to him.

How do you act around each other?
➤ They act like asses to each other with tons of sarcasm slathered on and a side of snarky remarks. They totally, completely disregard any respect for one another and have no problem trying to ruin the other's self-confidence. Rather a bit high-strung when it comes to one another, they would just die if admitting defeat to the other.

 

back-up love interest: Kris Wu | 23 | Model | Drug buyer/ Drug seller | He is just a stressed model looking for an easy and quick way to relax on the job. Normally, he is a perfectionist who strives to be the best in the industry and does not allow any mistakes. He is dedicated and passionate, but he is easily stressed. Strict and stern with himself, he usually displays a laid-back, too-cool-to-care facade in front of people he's not very close to. He is sometimes witty and snarky to those he is familiar with and can actually be very sarcastic. He can also be playful at times and is opportunistic.

How you met each other:
➤ He was looking for a tea (or anything really) that helps one to unwind and relax. Jaesong saw the chance to make some money and offered him . He got hooked, and now she is his supplier.

How do you act around each other?
➤ Jaesong acts indifferent and laid-back, as if she couldn't care if they got caught. Kris is a bit more high-strung considering that he's stressed out when meeting her; however, when he unwinds, he'd be more relaxed, still retaining his no nonsense attitude and act snarky to her from time to time.

requests: Maybe there could be an important character's death? Or maybe one of the applicants could experience near death. Oh, plot twists! I love plot twists. Maybe Jun could be supposedly be allies with Jaejoong, but accidentally let out an important piece of info to Donghae. That would create major drama with Jaejoong and Jun's relationship.
suggestions: Actually, no. I think it's dramatic already, and that's quite a feat compared to a lot of other stories.

Sorry if Changmin's short description was too lengthy. I just couldn't help myself. For Donghae, it's up to you if you want to further Donghae's interest in Jaesong to infatuation or not and become a rival to Jaejoong.
