I'm giddy. I've decided to enter the "Once Upon a Time AFF Contest". I've been into the fanficcing world (although not necessarily in AFF) for a long time, but this will be the 1st time I'm entering any contest. 

I'm satisfied with my own work, but I'm not sure whether people would like it. It's dark (something that I ALWAYS love to write, but something that most people would avoid), twisted (or so I hope), and bitter. But I'm super excited.

One of the thing that made me excited is because this will be a heesica one! Not that I'm claiming Heesica is my true OTP (I equally ship Yoonhae, Heesica, and Taeteuk. Kyuyoung and Yongseo come in 2nd place). But I've always wanted to write a Heesica fanfic. They are both super interesting characters and I think their characterization and interaction alone are my muse. The thing is, because they're incredible character, it's so difficult to write about them.

That's why I'm grateful for this contest and the prompt offered. When I scanned through the prompt, I was immediately drawn to the Hansel and Gretel quote. The next thing, I just know I have to make it a Heesica. And plut bunnies jumped in my head.

So...yeah, I feel accomplished right now. I don't know about the result (again, with such a dark theme, I'm not sure people would like it), but personally I love it. 

By the way, even though fanfic will be my rendition of Hansel and Gretel, I do not think of Heechul as Hansel. Jessica may be the Gretel, but Heechul is certainly the witch here. Hahaha
