Personality: Kazu is an outgoing, life-of-the-party, social butterfly. She loves to laugh and smile, especially with other people around her. Her bright appearance plays a big part in her character. Like most girls, Kazu likes to hang out, talk about boys, and go shopping. But hanging out with guys in the poor parts of town have influenced her as well. She's a sort of balance between a bad- and typical girl.

   Kazu is nice, which is part of why she's so likeable, but she can also be quite blunt at times (esp. if she's not in a good mood/tired). Being an actress, it's no surprise that she's a bit of a drama queen; this means that she tends to exaggerate a lot. Her laziness is very noticeable in her personality, and she would prefer cutting corners whenever she can. Challenges and taking risks attract her, but she never takes on something that she knows she can't handle. Rules that get in her way are simply ignored.

   Kazu's confidence can turn into cockiness, but she never shows this part of her in public. She prefers to act more helpless than she actually is and asks for favors often. This way she looks more feminine to guys, and she pulls them in with her personality. She's had quite a few flings and broken a couple of hearts. Her attitude could be described as 'going with the flow'. She's pretty laid-back and loses interest in things quickly.When she runs out of motivation, it's hard to get her to finish what she's started.

Good old times before the flesh-eaters...

History: Kazu owes her life to Zico and her other friends. They taught her everything she would need to know to make it out in the world on her own; which is just what she needed when the zombie outbreak occured. She took the news in quickly, adapting for survival, and went around with a group of friends. But while they were escaping a crowd of them, Kazu accidentally got left behind. She stumbles across a new group and uses her deception skills in order to live.

   Kazu honestly hates life after the apocalypse. She has to run for her life way more than she wants too, she can't have fun without worrying if she's going to get eaten by tomorrow, and she lost her friends. She's also still sad about the fact that she couldn't patch things up with her parents before they were gone. They had both died while they were at work, so she didn't see them die.

Childhood: Kazu was born rich. Her parents gave her the best education, the best clothes, the best everything. But after a little while, Kazu realized that this life didn't make her happy. Having a such a safe, predictable sheltered life bored her and she ran away one day when she was twelve to see what the rest of the world was like. She ran into a group of little boys running away with food that they had stolen. Their leader, only a fourteen-year-old boy by the name of Zico, fascinated her. She wanted to be more like him; sharp instincts, heightened senses, wit, and guts.

   After that day, Kazu's grades in school slipped, she stopped practicing her piano and violin, and her manners dropped. Her parents and her developed a sort of estranged relationship (mostly between her and her dad) and they began to argue a lot. They said she should stop fooling around so that she could have a secure future, but she argued that learning about life on the streets was more her style. Besides, she would have enough money to live on for the rest of her life after her parents died, anyways.

   By the time she was a teenager, Kazu fit in with Zico and his crowd. She learned how to fend for herself, stand up to others, fight, and deceive people with her acting. That's how she decided on her major in college. While most people would think that Kazu had a terrible past so that she can't trust people, nothing like that happened. She's simply seen a lot of different people in her life and finds it amusing in a way that she could trick them into believing something so easily.

They got in a lot of fights, but still loved each other. || Kazu knew her mom wasn't going to make it, but she was crushed when the last time she had seen her mom was during an arguement.

He prefers her to study; she finds it more practical in life to become street smart (and have fun while doing it). || Kazu was less affected by her father's death, but felt upset at the fact that she couldn't fix their relationship before he died.

Interaction: At first, L takes an instant dislike to Kazu simply because they're as opposite to each other as day and night. But as she keeps attempting to get closer to him, he begins to open up. They have a relationship sort of thing between them, and L takes care of Kazu (but he does it in a way that makes it seem like he couldn't care less).

Ending: I'm leaning more for a tragic ending as of now, but it really doesn't matter to me :) take other appliers' opinions to mind before mine.
