Personality: Se eun is an ambitious, fiery, light-hearted girl. She loves learning or experiencing new things and often felt restricted by her life in Hellissandur. Since she's been alive for so long, she is pretty carefree and is often unphased by disappointments in life. Her emotions are usually displayed on her face before she has time to stop it. She usually isn't the first one to back down in an arguement, but her apologies are nearly impossible to refuse. She's definitely an extrovert and isn't afraid to do things like singing in public or asking random people if they've listend to Leaders' debut song. Se eun is good at creating a bright atmosphere and is actually rather tomboyish since she grew up with an older brother. But her interest in the opposite contradicts that-she's not afraid to fangirl and she's a little erted, which she blames on her brother. She's confident in her abilities but never outright brags. She's very friendly, but she does admit that she acts a little differently around guys.

Like all dragons, she can usually sense a human's 'aura'-it gives a vague indication of their morality (whether they're good people or not). But she's nice to even those people in order to keep her cover and has become a pro at lying, which she uses only if she thinks it's necessary. As a result of being mostly closed off from the world while growing up, Se eun is relatively easily amazed. She likes looking at things and asking questions like a child. She's naturally curious, but tries to keep it maintained due to her father's constant warnings about becoming 'careless'. However, Se eun isn't very patient and gets easily bored of repitive things-only some things manage to catch her attention for a long time. But she does have a warm heart and appreciates all of her close ones.

Likes: meat and spicy food, meeting new people (esp. boys), music (esp. hip hop), teasing people (ex. about crushes, small pranks, photobombing), sunny days, yellow, the internet, fashion&shopping

Dislikes: judgemental people, strong smells (ex. too much perfume), being asked to do aegyo, two-faced people, saying goodbye (even if it's not permanent), green vegetables, diets, smoke/smog, being bored

Style: 01  02  03  04                  Se eun has a few baseball caps and sunglasses. She likes wearing wedges to make her look taller and doesn't wear jewelry unless it's a special occasion. Her hair is usually let down-she ties it up for dance practices. She prefers her stage apparel to have not too many accessories.

**Se eun is actually cold-blooded, so weather doesn't really affect her. She only bundles up in winter, for example, to appear 'normal'.

Did you have any plastic surgery done?: No.           **Se eun has skin that is as protective as dragon scales yet soft as human skin-that's why it's so flawless even after being alive for almost two centuries.

 

Let's take a closer look

Type Of Monster: Dragon

Information on the race: Dragons are dominantly carnivores; Se eun's meat cravings are more controlled in her human form, but she still prefers it over any other food. Behavior-wise, they aren't too different from humans. Some older dragons can easily become cocky/arrogant and a large minority are known for having fiery tempers-this is usually in the male lineage, though. Se eun has the ability to take two forms-she can morph into a dragon, which includes morphing only certain parts of her body at will (ex. wings, claws, teeth, etc...) which is handy when she's living in the middle of humans. Additional powers that come with this transformation are flight, enhanced strength, agility, sense of smell, armor-like skin, and fire manipulation. Dragons don't really have a weakness-but if one wished to kill a dragon, the most vulnerable spot is their underbelly.

Background: Scarlett Barnes first encountered Kim Saewon on the outskirts of her village while picking flowers for her newly-engaged neighbor. He was living in the forest to hide from the villagers, not wanting attention for being Asain in a dominantly white population. They both were intrigued by one another and Saewon 'accidentally' ran into her a few more times before she started visiting him. She was soon to be married but it was obvious that she had no real feelings towards her fiancé. Out of love and a bit of desperation, they had a baby boy in 1670 (Seungwoo) and a baby girl in 1672 (Se eun). Scarlett couldn't visit her husband and children a lot after she was married, but when she did go one day her husband had followed her. Little one-year-old Se eun was in her father's arms and, as little babies have no control over themselves, wanted to show her mommy how she had just figured out how to breathe fire. Scarlett's husband quickly strung an arrow onto his bow and showed himself, threatening to shoot the 'devil child' if Scarlett didn't come with him. Seungwoo was outraged and was ready to kill the man, but Scarlett realized that would just bring a whole mob after him, Seungwoo, and Se eun. She went with her husband after urging Seungwoo to run away with their children. He took her advice, but didn't leave until after knowing what happened to her. He watched the villagers hang her for 'witchcraft' from the sky, where he couldn't be seen by human eyes. It broke his heart and he sent himself and his children into self-imposed isolation in the sparsely-inhabited city of Hellissandur. He's raised them there ever since.

As Se eun grew up, she was confined to Iceland until she learned how to fully control her powers. She spent a lot of time training with her dad and hanging out with her brother. Over the years, she's had very little contact with people. But her naturally adventurous spirit caused her to beg her father to send her to various countries for 'vacations' to escape the humdrum of life. She's been to a total of 15 countries, but she never stayed more than 5 years in any of them. She made a lot of friends, but never kept them. About six years ago, she decided to actually start a life in South Korea and moved their with her brother, who supports them with his job. Their father finally let them go after much persuading from the two of them (mostly Se eun), but he stayed behind.

He looks like a bad boy, but he's a nice guy at heart who loves to laugh. / Ace is not a supernatural being, but he does have the life span of one. He used to resent Se eun early in his life for 'preventing him from a normal life' and for having powers when he didn't have any. Friends:Bang Yongguk / 23 / B.A.P. / Back when Yongguk was Jepp Blackman in the underground rap scene, Se eun got to meet him and ended up becoming friends with him and his group of friends. He helped hone her rapping/music production skills a lot. Although they ended up auditioning for different companies, they still keep in touch. / Yongguk is a little shy, which contradicts his stage presence. He's mature and responsible as well as modest. / close friend

Amber Liu / 20 / f(x) / Amber was Se eun's closest friend when she was an SM trainee. They would practice together and often just goof off in the practice rooms on their own time. Lyla Cunningham / 23 / NA / Lyla and Se eun are childhood friends, both born in Hellissandur. They hung out a lot with Ace and his friend as well. Despite Lyla flying to Great Britain for college and Se eun flying to Korea pursuing an 'idol life', they still keep in touch. / Lyla is an outgoing, easy-going, and courageous girl-a dramatic contrast compared to her humble origins. She's a hugger, shopaholic, and a night owl. / best friend

Lukas Wolf / 25 / NA / Ace's best friend; Lukas, Lyla, and the Kim siblings made up a big part of the 'young' population of Hellissandur so they all became friends. He's currently in Germany, where he was born, working in an animation studio.  / Lukas is a tad socially awkward but it somehow adds to his 'cute' appeal, as Se eun says. He's a true gentleman and an aspiring artist who has a lot of creativity. He's easily embarrassed and therefore an ideal target for teasing. / close friend

Love Interest: Choi Seunghyun (T.O.P.) / 25 / BIG BANG

Status: friends

How did you meet? or How would you like to meet?: When Se eun first moved to Korea, she went to a Music Bank show with her brother where Big Bang was performing their debut song. She became interested in the concept of 'k-pop' and her eye was instantly drawn to the group's deep-voiced rapper-she then proceeded to annoy the life out of her brother as she babbled about her new-found 'celebrity crush', as she heard other girls call it. After a few years of dabbling in music, she auditioned, was accepted into SM, and then transferred to New Breed Ent. A few months before Leaders' debut, they meet during a shooting for a clothing advertisement. Se eun found his shyness in doing more 'intimate' poses endearing and was pleasantly surprised to find that his heart was as pretty as his face. She eventually got his number through persistance and that's how their friendship began.

His/her personality?: Choi Seunghyun is an introverted yet somehow 4D character in a model's body. His modesty despite being so successful and his slight awkwardness makes him all the more loveable. He can be funny sometimes without even knowing it and is actually a kid at heart. He's hard-working at what he does. Seunghyun is a little overwhelmed by Se eun's personality at first, but he quickly warms up to her. He's more open with her than most other hoobaes in the industry and feels protective over her, which he claims is because of their 'age difference'. But if she makes a move on him, he'll usually not know how to respond-this is just his nature and connected to their careers. He treats everyone practically the same-Se eun admires him for that. He's reserved and polite with most others, but he's actually very friendly if you take the effort to get to know him. You never know when he'll say or do something that contradicts his serious, mature look.

Does he know you're not a human?: No; When Se eun finally decides to tell Seunghyun, he (of course) doesn't believe her. She offers to give him proof and despite saying no, Se eun knows that's just the denial talking. She shows him her wings and lets him touch them to confirm it himself. After the confusion and surprise passes, he tries to tell her that she shouldn't have become an idol with this secret of hers. She's touched by his concern for her, but disagrees with him and says that she wants to actually live her life instead of just existing.

How did you get discovered?: audition

Trainee History: Se eun first auditioned for SM Entertainment due to her brother's persuasion (and his new-found love for SNSD). She got in quite easily and worked hard to improve her skills. She made many friends, though none of them were close, and the staff noticed her admirible effort. However, she realized that with the lack of privacy for idols (and low demand for rappers in SM), she had doubts about debuting and almost gave up. But luckily, New Breed Ent. then filed for her to transfer to their company, where she learned about their 'secret' and how they would help her keep hers under wraps. Without having to keep her secret a secret anymore, she's become so much closer with her fellow Leader members.

Pre-debut Experiences: a few CFs/advertisements-she did one for cosmetics and two others for clothing brands.

Persona: Energizer Rapper-On stage and off stage, Se eun energizes those around her. When she performs, she has boundless energy and loves to connect with the fans in whatever way she can.
