Hwa Yeon is the type of girl who always friendly toward anyone that she met without caring their status. She always smile towards them and always try to be kind even though some of them might be cold toward her. She is indeed a kind and caring girl who willing to make sacrifice for other. So if you are her bestfriend, then you should feel lucky enough. Because Hwa Yeon definitely will help you in any kind of situation. Hwa Yeon was known by her hard-working attitude. She is a girl who will never give up until the end. She has strong determined to get what she want. She always give 110% in her job. Most people can see the charismatic-aura around her whenever she participate in some work. Actually that is the only time when Hwa Yeon can look charismatic in front other. From school days till now:
Hwa Yeon was the only woman in her family. Hwa Yeon lost her mother in an accident when she was still 12. It has gave a greap impact toward the whole family. Everything totally change. Hwa Yeon and her brother, Niel change too. Hwa Yeon locked herself in her room. Niel has became a really quiet boy. It break their father heart to see the sight of his heartbroken children. Hwa Yeon slowly regain her sense after 4 days. She slowly became her normal self back. But Niel keep going like that for a week. Hwa Yeon and her father tried to cheer him and make he talks again in many way. And finally they decided to bring Niel to their mother grave. To let he accept the fact that their mother has gone. The moment they step in the cemetery, Niel's head fall down. Hwa Yeon dragged his brother to their mother grave leaving their father in the car. Both of them kneel beside their mother grave. Hwa Yeon mention that their mother are looking at them from the heaven. And she sure that their mother will be really sad if Niel keep acting like that. Upon hearing the words from Hwa Yeon's mouth. Niel started crying all out. Hwa Yeon just hugged him tightly until he calm down. The moment when the last tear fall from his eyes, Niel said that he will be the old him again. He don't want to make his mother sad. Both of them went back to their father hand in hand. And in front their father, Hwa Yeon and Niel promised to not be sad anymore. Since then Hwa Yeon take the role of their mother in the family. She taking care 2 little children. One is Niel, the other one is her father. Yeah, her father is pretty childish at times. But when he works, he became serious and charismatic(now we know where Hwa Yeon get that personality).

High school. It was the fun place for Hwa Yeon. It the place where she can observe many interesting thing. Hwa Yeon was a smart student in her school. She in the top-3 student list. But she is definitely not a nerd. Why? It because there is no nerd that woud ever skipped class. You hear right? Hwa Yeon skipped class. But that doesn't mean she's a bad student. She didn't skipped all classes. She just skipped History and Hangul class. Hwa Yeon think that it better for her to stay on the rooftop rather than sleeping in the classroom. Both teacher for the two subject doesn't really care about their student. So even if one student gone, they won't really notice about it. Hwa Yeon was known for her light feet and sharp movement. Hwa Yeon dance just for fun. She never intend to get involve into any competition. Most of the time, Hwa Yeon just teach other new movement. Nobody mind about it since she was the club president's bestie. Beside they need talented people in the club. So by teaching many talented people can be produced.

Hwa Yeon stayed alone with her father in Chuncheon since Niel already off to Seoul, by becoming TOP Ent. trainee. Her father has been pretty busy with his work. Pretty much, Hwa Yeon spend her time alone in the house. Sometimes she did received calls from Niel, he telling Hwa Yeon about his trainee. The truth is Hwa Yeon was little jealous with her brother. Both of them shared the same dream. But at that time, Hwa Yeon just can't leave her father alone. So she decide to back off from the audition. But she still happy that her brother can make his dream become true. Hwa Yeon spend her time everyday by singing and dancing. Her father knew about her dream. He actually felt guilt for being the reason why Hwa Yeon can't continued her dream. But the guilt feeling only last until that day. The day where he got his promotion to be a manager in hotel at Seoul. The time when he told Hwa Yeon, it seems like all are dream. Hwa Yeon can finally make her dream become true. Her father feel happy for her too. They moved from Chuncheon to Seoul within a week. Both of them didn't told Niel yet. They make a surprise for Niel who at that time at his dorm, resting. Niel who didn't expect anything feel happy that he can be near with his loved one.

How did you become a Woollim ent trainee:
Hwa Yeon got into Woollim with her father help. It have been a while since they move to Seoul. Her father wanted to make her dream become true. So he decide to call his friend who was one of Woollim's worker. He discuss with him through phone and he agree on giving Hwa Yeon a try. Her father secretly give his friend the footage of Hwa Yeon's dance and sing. His friend said that she was amazingly surprise with her talent. So with his friend help, the footage then was send to the CEO of Woollim. At first the CEO didn't expect too much. But after seeing Hwa Yeon's talent in the footage. He was awe by the perfect and sharp dance by Hwa Yeon. For a girl, Infinite's choreograph is quite hard. But somehow, Hwa Yeon manage to perform the exact dance as Infinite does. Without even bothering to ask other people opinion, he gave Hwa Yeon green light. Which mean she pass and has enough quality to become a Woollim's trainee. As soon as the great new came to Hwa Yeon's father. he didn't waste any time anymore. He instantly told Hwa Yeon about it. The first time when she heard about it, she though that her father just joking around. But Hwa Yeon saw that her father not joking about it. It was too much for Hwa Yeon to handle. Her father have done a lot for her. She then hugged her father tightly and promise to him that she'll be a famous idol one day soon. She also promise that she won't disappoint him.
