Will you ever stop liking K-Pop?

Q: Will you ever stop liking K-Pop?

A: Right now, K-Pop is a part of my life. It's something that I hold on to as hard as I can. Honestly, I'm scared for my future with it.  My friends who were in my K-Pop clique slowly started falling out of it. And I'm afraid I'll be the alone in liking it and not have friends that like it at the same caliber as I do as I get older and go to uni.

Up until that point I can freely spazz about biases and such, but after that, after my pre-med and in the early stages of med, I really have to start thinking about settling down and finding a husband to start a family. It'll be odd and kind of pathetic if I stay latched to my biases instead of seeing real people don't you think?

I believe that until a certain point I can go along with spazzing about the men and all, after that I'll probably just listen to the music for the music itself, without the whole bias package.

Another main part of this is that if my main bias groups disband, I think it'll hit me pretty hard and cause me to lose interest. We all know our favorite groups won't be around forever, though it's painful to think about it.

I guess at some time we all have to grow up and realize that we aren't going to marry our biases and live in Korea, or become an idol and perform like our favorite artists. We have to be realistic and go on a path that will lead us to a stable life and not get stuck in a rut.

But there's a lot of time till then, so I guess the journey won't be too bad ^^ So what about you? Will YOU ever stop liking K-Pop?

I wholly agree with you. I always ask myself, hmmmm, where will 2ne1 be in 10 years? We all know they can't carry that bad and bold look forever. The looks of kpop now isn't so promising either--same old stuff from different groups. By the time I hit 20 (and I'm 15), I suspect that most of these idol groups will either disband, or hopefully, change their current picture into a more mature one, like say DBSK. They've been doing their jig since 03. I remember Hug--so cheesy and girly. Can you imagine them singing that song five years from now (of course without JYJ). I can't imagine JYJ doing that. However, the point is they both have matured and are still lively in the music business, which is good. However we can't predict the same for all these idols and rookies. It's the same brick by boring brick.
