ChanJi dresses in a girly way. Her style is very simple. She doesn’t like wearing very out of the ordinary things. She likes wearing clothes that suit her skin tone. She has a skinny body and a nice face. She has milky white skin. She has long hair but likes to keep it up when she’s out doing things. She is tall but her height does not exceed 175 cm.

Talents: Can do body gags. She can imitate male idol singing voices (like Jonghyun from SHINee and Woohyun from Infinite). She can do y dances. She can play some musical instruments.

 

Background (life before band): Was born in Korea but moved to the states when she was around 3 years old. Grew up in the states until the age of 15 and returned back to Korea. She has never gotten used to the Korean lifestyle. She sometimes does things the American way. In the states she never had many friends and was like an Asian outcast. Her parents wanted her to be a doctor but she never agreed to the idea and lived her own dream; being a musician. She parents didn’t like the idea and were against it for years but they learned how to accept her own future and they support her alot. She practiced singing and dancing so she took extra classes in the states to improve her skills.

 

Personality: She is very multiple sided. Although she may dress girly, she can seem pretty boyish at times. She may seem weird to call her elders hyung or noona because she thinks that oppa and unnie sound weird to her. She's a person who never gives up on anything even if the manager tells her to give something up, she rebels and doesn't listen. She's the goofy troublemaker in the group. It's hard to stay mad at her because she's just too childish and she looks like someone who can get hurt easily. JJ is very open person and likes to tell personal stories. Even though she may seem childish, JJ too can give out good meaningful advice to anyone who is in need. JJ is a person who works hard for certain things and won’t stop until it is accomplished. On camera when performing she can tend to be serious but y. When she is on variety/reality shows she shows the viewers her playful/troublemaking/choding side. She likes to crack jokes often even if they seem awkward; they still end up being funny in a weird way.

 

Quirks: When warming up before practicing, she always has to do the splits for a minute or two. After that she has to record a video diary then practice goes planned. When she is at fan signing events she has to write a message out in English then write it out in Korean.

 

Personality flaws: Sometimes, being a troublemaker can get you into so much trouble. Even if her smallest pranks get to someone, it can get her really upset and make her cry. No one really likes a childish person, especially if they are multiple sided.

 

Physical flaws: JJ is tall but lanky when it comes to body image. She usually has to wear clothes that don't hug her body as much.

 

Good traits: She’s got a voice that most people want. It’s not too high and not to low in pitch. She can sing scales very fluently. She is very charming and has a very nice smile that alot of people want to see. She’s also very fluent in speaking Korean even though English is considered as her first language.

 

Hobbies: Pranking or being a choding is a daily hobby. She can never have a good day without these hobbies.  Playing musical instruments like the guitar, drums, piano and bass.

 

Fears: She has a fear of someone pulling a prank on her. Pranksters usually don't get pranked back but she's extra careful and on the lookout. She has a love/hate relationship with scary things. She loves how scary stories are interesting but hates how it will just scare her and give her nightmares.

 

Pet Peeves: JJ has a big pet peeve for copycats or people who copy her style. It really bugs her since she is trying to create her own image but it ends up being used.

Mother: Lee Soojin: 48: Owns a bakery that is famous for its cream filled breads. Very close to her mother.
Father: Cho Jungjin: 52: Camera/Sound operator for TV shows. Very close to her father. She is very playful around him.
Brother: Cho Kyuhyun: 24: Super Junior’s evil maknae. ChanJi’s older brother. Out of everyone in the family, Kyuhyun is the closest relative of all.
Sister: Cho Ara: 26: Musical/Broadway actress in America. ChanJi’s older sister. Chan Ji hasn’t seen her around the house lately. Not very close with her older sister but truly cares for her.

Best friend: Kim Kibum/Key: 21: SHINee member. Has known her since Kyuhyun introduced her to SHINee.

Best friend: Lee Taemin: 19: SHINee member. Has known her since Kyuhyun introduced her to SHINee. He likes to hang out with her.

Crush: Nam Woohyun: 21: Infinite’s Main Vocal. She has a big crush on him. He is friends with Chan Ji.

If Chan Ji was to be in a romantic relationship, she would definitely try hard to be the best girlfriend ever. She would give up alot of things to be with that person. But since she is a newbie at love, she would be confused and helpless at first, but once she gets help she’ll know what to do and how to cope with the situation. Her personality will change slightly. She will act more girly.

Many people know her as Kyuhyun’s younger sister. ChanJi takes after her brother and is like a mini Kyuhyun in a way. She loves her brother very much and is very close to him. Fans always spot them out together for some brother sister bonding time.
