personality: As a nerd Chan Yoon is a goody goody two shoes. In school, she is known for her grades and for being in the sisterhood. This girl can be helpful at times. She can be like the Alpha's sidekick. She usually helps the leader in everything she does. She is really carefree. She doesn't care if she doesn't receive credit for school and all. But things like boys and grades can create a huge impact on her life without her even knowing. When fights break out, she tends to try and solve the situtation even if she gets hurt in the end. She loves her friends too much to see them get hurt.

Has her all time favourite subject - Math. Is really obssessed with working out problems. Even if she sees a tiny mistake, she can become really nerdy and fix it straight away. Always the first person to get her work done in class. She somehows remembers assignments that were given out in every year. Always keeps a reminder in her diary of when assignments are due. Always gets her assignments done in 3 days.She's the only student that knows every teacher in the school well from age to gender etc. She's always ahead of everyone in school work, meaning that she knows what assignments the class is going to get next and so on.

Obssessed with books. Visits the library almost everyday. Knows more than half the books in the whole library (the book name, author etc.). Loves to read books about romance. Every now and then she reads adult fiction just for fun. People who go to Seoul High visit the library and ask if they could get some extra tutoring for specific topics or subjects.

As you know, nerds have a good life with a good family to take care of them. In this case nerds should be living in a normal life. Chan Yoon's life isn't perfect like a fanfic. Her life has deep flaws that no one but her knows about. Underneath that happy-go-lucky look is a torn girl. For her it's hard to keep an innocent, normal and high image for the group. Her family is poor and they cannot support her well enough. She hates how people go into miserable states. She always gives out advice or tips to people who are having trouble since she doesn't want to see them go through pain. She's usually the one who helps people sort out their problems with others because she knows that they are going to get hurt in the end.

background: Chan Yoon comes from a poor family but somehow manages to get into the sisterhood. During her middle school years, she was a popular girl at her school. She was kind but naive. She was an average student like the rest. During her 2nd year of middle school she was humiliated by the whole grade because of a confession. The guy she confessed to said that he liked pretty but smart girls. He insulted her and left leaving her heartbroken. To get over the incident, she visited libraries and studied hard. From there on her IQ level started to rise, making her a complete nerd in the end. She changed her looks and went to a different middle school, always resulting to being the best in the grade. After finishing middle school, she chose to go to Seoul High but was too poor as the fees were more than she expected. She studied hard and well for the test and was accepted for a scholarship due to her test results (scored in the top 1 percent).

Hates his job but continues to work in the noodle house. Doesn't have any other works skills other than cooking. Knows about his wife being sick and having cancer. Wants to tell Kai about his adoption calmly.

Lee Minjung - 46 - No Occupation. Cannot afford to pay for her children's studies. She is currently sick with cancer but has not told her family yet. Sneaks to the hospital every 3 weeks for a checkup. Has befriended the doctor at the hospital. The doctor is Kai's real father. Only has a few years to live if the cancer isn't treated as soon as possible. Her husband knows about the cancer but her kids don't.

siblings: Kim Jongin (Kai) - Born in 1994. Was adopted by the Kim family when he was 5 years old. Found on the streets alone and abandoned. No one knows his birthdate, but they only know what year he was born in. Unknown background but believed to be from a rich family. Does not know about his real family.

Lee Sungyeol : A spoilt and snobby little rich bad boy. When teasing people (mostly girls) he likes to do skinship. He hits on alot of girls from time to time but sometimes particular girls catch his eye. Really picky with girls. He goes for the naive type since they are easy to be fooled. No matter what the girl has to be popular and cute. Afraid to ruin his repuation. Really immature, stingy and arrogant. He knows everything about everyone at school. Acts y to get girls but hardly succeeds that way. Has had many relationships which ended with him initiating the breakup. Doesn't care about personality in girls, all he cares about is their body.

relationship: Nam Woohyun : Like every bad boy does, he teases her when she gets things right in class. When she has finished work and is way ahead of people, he scoffs and gives her dirty looks. He never notices the good things about her. He never notices her kindness and the way she acts towards people. He only notices her looks. He admits that she's pretty cute but feels like she's missing something. In return, Chan Yoon dislikes him a little. But she never dares to mess with him since she knows what might happen to her. They act friendly at times but most of them time they just really care about each other. It's like a love-hate relationship.

Lee Sungyeol : Tries to act lovey-dovey with her. He tries to humiliate her and call her silly pet names. He likes to spread rumours about him and Chan Yoon but they never get far. He plans on spending at least a day or night with her all alone (lolol.. I know what you are thinking about~ kekeke.. jksjks).She doesn't really like people doing skinship with her but with Sungyeol, something about him is enjoyable in her opinion. He's not really mean to her but he sometimes tries to shut her down by rebutting her comments during class but he never succeeds in doing so.

suggestions: A scene where the bad boy asks the girl to hangout on the weekend. He's pretty shy since it's the first time the guy has ever asked a popular nerd out. The boy is blushing and the girl notices it so she kisses his cheeks and accepts the friendly offer~ kekekeke~ so cutee <3 :P
