everyone at geumbaekwon private knows yuhm eunsong by these keywords, be it school faculty members, the kids from his batch, or his juniors. everyone has heard of yuhm eunsong. not because he's freakishly attractive or has insanely good grades or anything, it's actually quite the opposite.
eunsong is known to be a bad example as a student at geumbaekwon private. constantly skipping school to sleep in or hang out with friends, offering his friends to skip with him, talking back to teachers in a cold and blunt way, sleeping during class, turning in homework late, getting bad grades, smoking inside of school area... the things that makes him a bad student model is endless. had it not been for the amount of money his parents bribe the school director, the teachers were sure that eunsong would've been dropped out by now.
however, there's another thing that keeps eunsong inside geumbaekwon.
yuhm eunsong is by far the best taekwondo athlete geumbaekwon private has secured. he's the taekwondo club's all star, the golden boy of taekwondo. everyone at the taekwondo club looks up to him. his precision and aim is off the roof. his movements are clean and fluid. his eyes are always fiery, always focused and sharp. never have eunsong came anything other than first in all taekwondo tournaments he's been sent to. and he wants to keep it that way.

eunsong is a well known individual at geumbaekwon private. everyone knows who he is. either for his bad representation as a student, or for his outstanding achievements as a taekwondo athlete.
in the eyes of roughly everyone at school, eunsong is an unapproachable person who seems all mighty and prideful. he looks chill and laid-back and he doesn't have a single problem in his life. he's cold and blunt, words sharp and menacing to hear. his eyes are emotionless but sharp, which glances at other people degradingly. he presents smirks while walking down the school hallways, preferring to mind his own business rather than listening to other people. he acts like a king. from sleeping in class to talking back to the teachers, eunsong has left a very bad impression to all the faculty members. but he has no problem dealing with it. after all, money can fix anything.
underneath the layer of pridefulness, is a side of eunsong he only exhibits when he's with the taekwondo club (and the trainers and other people at his dojo). it's the side of him that makes him look less of a bad person and more of a considerate human being. he's passionate and fun once you get to see him train. he doesn't smirk, but instead he smiles contently when trainers and other club members compliment him. he listens to trainers and coaches and fixes his mistakes as soon as they point them out. he would shyly offer to treat the whole taekwondo club food after training. he'd help the younger club members with their movements and positions. the prideful and unapproachable aura left his body when he's with them. instead he's a shy person who gets along with those close to him.
yuhm eunsong may seem like he doesn't care about anything and everything, but he actually does. he's just built up thick brick walls and a standoffish act to hide his vulnerable side. he's awfully afraid of disappointing his parents, and now that he has soohyuk, he's afraid that he'd disappoint him as well. eunsong fears not being the top of his game. he's afraid that if he doesn't end up first in competitions and tournaments, everyone would start leaving him alone. but he can't just change right away, his pride doesn't allow him to.

eunsong was born to the owners of luxurious five star hotel chain La Magnifique as the only child. thus he was constantly showered with riches and compliments from his parents and their business friends. in his case, eunsong's parents decided it would be great if their child had an image and stuck to it. so they gave him an image, a tough independent boy. his parents made him watch wrestling matches like wwe and mma. his parents always told him that he was the strongest, the best, the toughest. his parents had trained him not to cry. telling him that crying was for the weak, and he's not weak. his parents told him how he was born to be the strongest, mightiest, etc. and it got to him. so when eunsong was eight years old, he told his father that he wanted to do sports, specifically taekwondo.
his parents were in glee. oh how their son was fulfilling the image they were trying to put up for him. they could see it, yuhm eunsong, son of yeom johan and lee yebin, winning oh so many achievements on the sports. so his father took him to the best taekwondo dojo there was in seoul, and let him train there.
he was a prodigy! by the age of thirteen, he had already held his third level black belt. he won the national junior taekwondo championship and was sent to the international field. eunsong was passionate about it, the fire in his eyes always lit up whenever he was sent to compete in a new tournament. and he was always happy whenever he won first place in said competitions.
in the eyes of his parents, eunsong is nothing but a money making taekwondo prodigy they show off to their friends and business partners during fancy dinners and business parties to leave a good impression on them, a tool to gain fame. they had told him to forget about learning other subjects and focusing solely on taekwondo. and eunsong being the kid he was, only nodded and obeyed.
when eunsong was fourteen, he had tripped and almost fell during the final kick of his performance, and most importantly, it was the finals for the national tournament. his points were deducted and he won third. he had never seen his parents so ashamed, so disappointed. eunsong had remembered how his parents shook his head and told him how they expected better of him.
out of embarrassment and disappointment, during his second year of middle school his parents transferred him to a new town, alone. so he built up a new personality, a new yuhm eunsong. he was set to train at a new dojo, the best in byeonggwak, a tougher one where the trainers were ten times stricter and scarier. he was transferred to geumbaekwon private from his previous prestigious middle school. he's never heard from his parents ever since, except from when he's obliged to attend all the fancy dinners with their business partners. and that was when he knew his parents didn't care about him.
eunsong starts off his day with finally sleeping at 3AM, 2AM at it's earliest. then he'd finally wake up at 7AM.
he'd start his official morning routine by sitting on the bed to collect his sleepy soul, stretch lazily in bed, before finally getting up. he'd then slip away to the bathroom to get ready for school. after a quick 5 minute shower, he'd go to the kitchen to grab the breakfast the maids have prepared for him (take note that he lives alone, but maids come in every morning to work) and go to school with the car his parents had given him.
at school, the first thing he does would be eating his breakfast. he'd usually eat together with soohyuk if the younger boy hasn't eaten, while making small talks. afterwards, he'd go to his class to catch up on his sleep, before being waken up by the school bell. most of the time, eunsong would sleep in class rather than pay attention to whatever boring material the teacher's explaining, only waking up to the bell ringing, stating the change of periods or telling him it was break time. when he's not sleeping, however, he would be minding his own business like looking out the window or scribbling angsty lyrics on his notebook, while pretending to pay attention. he had given up on his studies way back in middle school when his parents told him that they'd take care of it for him.
more often than not though, he'd go back home to sleep in, only going to school after he's content with the amount of sleep he'd gotten. or when he feels like it, he'd skip school to hang out with a few of his friends from the taekwondo club.
on wednesdays and thursdays, he'd stay after school to go to the taekwondo club room to train with the rest of the club. but on other days, he'd go straight home to take a quick shower before heading to the dojo only 2 blocks away. then, he'd train there for individual competitions.
during weekends or other school holidays, he'd be seen hanging out with soohyuk or the rest of the taekwondo team. usually he'd go on dates with soohyuk where they go shopping or out for meals or go watch movies. when he's not out with his friends, he'd be going to the gym to work out. after those schedules, he'd go back home to take a quick shower before going to the dojo to train again.
geumbaekwon — he's in class 12-4 of geumbaekwon prvt and is part of the taekwondo club. he would stay after school every wednesday and thursday to go to club meetings and train.
taekwondo — he's been doing it all his life, and he currently holds the 7th level black belt. he trains taekwondo everyday, including sundays, from 5PM to 11PM.
academics — he's given up on academics scoring ever since middle school, and his parents never bothered to fix that because they have the money. aside from that, the best subject he's at is surprisingly economics, but his grade is nowhere above C.
cash — he gets monthly money from his parents, which he uses to shop for clothes, party, and everyday needs.

soohyuk met eunsong five years ago when the latter was first introduced as a new student at byeonggwak's best taekwondo dojo. soohyuk noticed how eunsong was quiet and didn't talk much, but had great precision in his kicks. when they had their break, soohyuk gave him compliments, asking when he started and where he used to train. eunsong only answered briefly, curtly thanking him, before proceeding to minding his own business. soohyuk knew eunsong wasn't going to open up soon, but he still was talking to eunsong every break time they had.
eunsong's impression of soohyuk was that he's loud and talkative. he was always trying to talk to him, clinging onto him and asking if he's had lunch and making other small talks. eunsong wasn't very fond of his personality, but soohyuk was the only one who outrageously tried to make eunsong talk.
after a week of making small talk everyday while training, well, soohyuk talking to eunsong everyday, the latter found out that the new school he was going to transfer to was soohyuk's school. eunsong was a little relieved to hear that not everyone at school will be complete strangers. at least, soohyuk wasn't a complete stranger.
the two were classmates when eunsong was introduced as a new student. eunsong was told to sit behind soohyuk in class, and the latter was told to introduce him around school. they talked a bit (mostly soohyuk trying to bring up conversations), exchanged phone numbers, and proceeded to walk around school.
soohyuk was the very first friend eunsong had when he stepped into byeonggwak. they gradually talked to each other more, hanging out both inside and outside school gates. soohyuk helped eunsong with his studies, and eunsong helped soohyuk improve a bit in taekwondo. they had became friends, and soohyuk was the only person who wasn't a stranger to him.
at a year end junior taekwondo tournament, eunsong and soohyuk won first and second respectively. after the awarding ceremony, eunsong confessed to him, looping his golden medal on soohyuk's neck. soohyuk shyly confessed back. and they started dating secretly.
soohyuk was there when they were both yelled at for fooling around at the dojo. soohyuk was there when eunsong got drunk and noone was there to take care of him. soohyuk was there to accompany eunsong through their midnight calls. and most importantly, soohyuk was there when eunsong was at his lowest point.

he was one of geumbaekwon's golden taekwondo boy during his time in the school. meaning he's eunsong's senior. eunsong had met him during middle school, as it turned out that they went to the same dojo as him and soohyuk.
when eunsong graduated middle school and was getting ready for high school, chanhyun helped him get used to the new atmosphere and cut-throat competition. he introduced him to the older taekwondo boys and helped him open up. gradually, eunsong grew onto chanhyun. he was the older brother he never had. they still meet at the dojo, and they still hang out often during weekends when chanhyun isn't busy with class and all that.

to him, eunsong might be just someone from the friend group he never really interacts with. and to eunsong, he's just a pretty boy who tags along with chanhyun. they met through the older, of course, when chanhyun had introduced noryun after taekwondo practice. eunsong still wonders why he wants to hang out with the taekwondo boys when he's all soft and pretty, while the taekwondo boys are just loud and a huge mess (not to mention the club room smells really, really bad).
but frankly speaking, they don't really interact much, especially since chanhyun had graduated. but they'd nod to each other as a greeting when they pass each other at hallways, or answer each others' questions if one specified it just for the other. there's this comfortably awkward silence around when it's just the both of them, and that's pretty much it.

ms. jung is probably the coolest teachers in the school faculty. she's the youngest of the school's teachers, the newest too! jung sookyung has only been teaching in geumbaekwon private for 2 years, but her teaching method and ideas are always getting better. perhaps it's because she's trained abroad before finally settling her career in south korea, or perhaps it's because she's the youngest and wants to be #Relatable. a lot of students look up to her, both male and female. and even though it may seem like she's cold or classy as , she's a fun teacher who isn't ashamed of doing a meme reference while teaching in class.
eunsong thinks it's ironic how he'd managed to open up to ms. jung only from her assuming that he had problems. ms. jung helped him a lot, actually. she decided not to report him for smoking, she decided not to report him when he smelled like alcohol in the morning. she decided to barge into his life and get him to open up. and eunsong finds it weird. because he trusts nobody more in his life other than his friends, and here comes a teacher trying to help him out. eunsong figures it's for the money, so he straightforwardly said that if she wanted the money she could just ask. because he didn't know that she was genuine.

eunsong doesn't want this to happen. he's had enough assignments this week and he doesn't want a semester long project to ruin his perfect chance of ditching his homework. so he plans to ditch the project entirely and give it up to his partner and his house maid, and for the reports he plans on asking the top 20 kid of the batch before him to write it as neatly as possible. can he actually do that? yes and no. yes, if he doesn't get caught, and no if he does.
