okay pls take a moment to prepare for this madness

i just realized that i really actually have a crush on someone.  i haven't really had a crush in my life (besides kpop ofc) cuz everyone i've been exposed to was either taken, gay, or just an .  but now that i actually have a crush i'm kinda scared.

we met back in like 2012 at a music program, and at a diff summer program in 2013.  he confessed, but i was super young and really scared so nothing happened, but we still kept in touch.  now that we're pretty much grown up and have gone through the wonders of puberty together, i've seen his personality change even more for the better.

this is the weird thing tho...we haven't seen each other ever since then.  it was hard cause we lived a few hours away from each other, and now he goes to school in Indiana and i go to school in LA.  and even though we're friends that don't text all the time, every time we do text, it's like we never missed a beat.

i feel the need to confess because i feel like this has been brewing slowly for so long, but i don't want to mess everything up. and idk if this is going to work out because i'm pretty sure he probably sees me as a sister figure.  

but if this works out, then it'll be my first ever relationship (don't laugh ik it sounds stupid ahhaha)

my mom says i should wait until he gets off for break, and try to catch him while he's coming back home through LA, but that's in december and idk if i can wait that long without saying anything.

idk...this is a confusing post.  any sort of advice or moral support is much appreciated ;-;
