NICKNAMES.
taeah (태아) - she's formally called this, like in school and stuff
tita (티타) - it's her stage name as well as her real nickname from her parents. everyone in her family called her by this name and all those who close to her use this name too. it's a latin name that means honored.
nabi (나비). This nickname came from her role in Love cells web drama where she played as a love cell stuck in a cat, which makes her became basically a cat in the drama named Nebi (네비). Her fans who came from the drama called her this first, then it spread to her general fans and changed from Nebi to Nabi. Nabi (나비) is how cats are named by default in korea. this also goes with the fact that she loves cats. She's often seen with things with cats on it from accessories to clothing. She also wears cat ears to fan meetings.
her royal dorkiness - baekhyun called her this when she demand things out of habit. she has 6 brothers who adore her after all. it's usually simple things like asking him to hold her things, bringing the things that out of her reach, turning something on or off, just simple things that she should be able to do herself but is too lazy to do or too occupied. but when he called her that she would realize it and grin, as she says sorry. the other exo members also often call her this.
DTT (double trouble taes) - how people refer to her and V as a unit.

since she was little she really loves her brothers and copies everything their older brother does. from the way they talk to how they dress and cut their hair. so she mostly look like a boy.
around the age of 7 her mother wanted her to dress more like a girl so she does but it doesn't last long. she feels hot all the time and uncomfortable, she can't move freely. so at 10 she started to cut her hair short again and wore boyish outfit.
her appearance during her secret training was so far from looking like a girl, even though it doesn't really change the fact that she still looks pretty. she was just recognized as a pretty guy for those who don't know her. so when she hung out and trained with the guys she doesn't really gather that much of attention. but during the one year off she hit puberty and back to looking like a real girl, a really pretty one at that. she was so busy during that year she keep her hair long and just wear whatever her mom prepares for her. and so when she became a trainee and still hang out with the guys she gathers so much attention.
during her trainee year, she keep her hair at shoulder length and usually put it up on a ponytail or a bun. she doesn't wear makeup around the company as she mostly late for everything.

the main problem with kim tae ah's personality are her insensitiveness and indifference. when rumors come up, which happens more often than you think, she doesn't bother to clarify anything. she doesn't care what people say about her. to her, her real friends' opinions are the only thing that matter. she learned over the years that no matter what happen or what's the real truth, people always have something to say about it.
well, you might think, well isn't that a positive thing? it's supposed to be, but she also tunes out people's good thought and means through her filter. she became less aware of the things that could hurt other people. she just finds it hard to understand how everything simple for her are somehow more complicated for other people. she leaned more towards her logics than feelings, unlike most girls. this is one of the reason most of her close friends are guys. yes, oh yes, girls seems to just always finds reason to hate her. they never really try to become closer to her. but that feeling's mutual. she prefers to not be in the vicinity of dramas at all times.
generally, she's someone fun to be around, she's bright, very lively, cheerful and talks, a lot. and her gullibleness makes everything funny. she easily believes in things people told her. her comments are unintendedly hilarious and most of the times, are stupid. she lacks common sense even when her IQ is 145. her friends keep making fun of her, at this rate, her brain will be filled with stupid anecdotes and fake information. she's imaginative, you could say she's a daydreamer. her stories are always fun even when sometimes people can't tell whether they're just exaggerated or are not true at all. moreover, she's obviously a fast learner and is more than happy to help the other members. she also contributes a lot of ideas for the group.

except that she seems to always disappear when the girls started to get emotional and talk about feelings and such. girls get close by sharing feelings with the others. they get the sense of comrades when they know that the others are experiencing the same things too. this is why she's not as close with the members.
on the other hand, guys can get close just by having the same favorite things. bonding over blunt and stupid talks. well, kim tae ah's hobbies are in sync with most guys', you know, eating, playing online games, reading comics and sports. and she talks about things like it's none of other people business. with the guys she never has to restrict herself to say everything she wants to say. the guys sometimes even get surprised of the things that come out of , a girl's mouth. but yes, no one ever gets offended and get hurt here. it's all fun and games.
but in the future, of course, kim tae ah will learn to love being able to talk about her feelings. she also wants to be understood. cause she's a girl after all.
kim tae ah was born in the US and spend her first 5 years there. and then moved to tokyo in japan for 5 years before finally settled in korea where her parents actually from. she moved around because of her parents scholar background that requires them to do research in different countries. this makes her fluent in english, japanese and korean.
she's the only daughter in the family and has 6 older brothers. this greatly contributes to how her personality now. she mostly plays with her brothers before her school years and she doesn't know how to play any other way. most of her friends are guys because she feels more comfortable doing so. at first, she tried to make friends with other girls too but somehow she always ended up being hurt. girls always found a reason to hate her. they always say that she's too rough, dirty or that she's annoying them. but mostly it's because they often got jealous and misunderstood her closeness with the guys. but that's actually not the case for her because all her life she always finds herself just being one of the guys.
there are three types of guys, besides the normal loving ones, she often cross path with:
- one that gets close to her to take advantage of her because she's pretty. this is one of the reason she stopped wearing pretty dresses her mom bought for her, cut her hair short and just doesn't care about being a girl. it was a hindrance anyway when she plays.
- one that likes her but gives up because he gets too jealous with her friendships. this is why she doesn't believe it when a guy say they like her, how can it be love when it's easily thrown away?
- one that she likes but never even consider her as a love interest. once she confesses to the last type of guy, of course, their friendship becomes awkward and they drifted apart. and this happens more than once. this time, she finally decided to never confess in order to be close with her crush.
2010
she's really close with her 3rd brother who works at Big Hit. since she was 11 she followed him around to the company when he has to babysit her. there she discovers her passion for singing and dancing. she mostly just stayed in his office, reading books. she got introduced to most of the staff because she clinged to his brother a lot.
2011
after three months of just staying in the office everytime she was there, she started to wander around quietly. she was caught by her brother and told not to wander around alone like that. if she kept doing that she won't be allowed to come with him anymore. so she promised she won't wander around.
one day there was a meeting where her brother has to go to another company with the CEO, but tita was there and no one were home. so he asked one of the staff he was close with to take care of her for a bit. it was Mr.Jung, he was one of the managers that take care many of the trainees training schedule. one group that he has to take care of was BTS that has just been made. that day they were practicing and Mr.Jung was supposed to supervise their training. so Mr.Jung and tita sat in the back of the practice room, he gave her some snack so she would be content.
since that day whenever she was in the company she would ask her brother to let her stay with Mr Jung. Mr Jung was gladly watch her, he said she reminded him of his youngest daughter. tita was a good girl anyway, she was really calm and quiet. and so for three months she just watched bts training in the back of the training room while eating whatever snack Mr Jung or her brother gave her. she started to get interested in dancing and singing, she practices by herself in home after watching their moves.
one day, when bts were arguing about a dance move and Mr Jung wasn't there. she clarify how the dance move goes. and they started to be friends since then. she would join in whenever they were having a self-training. this goes on for 3 months before she got found by the higher supervisor. his brother was told about this and that watching from the back is one thing, but joining in during training is certainly wasn't allowed. he suggested that she auditioned for the company instead, he seen talents in her.
and so his brother told her that. she then auditioned with his 1st brother stepping up as her guardian. this was her 3rd brother ideas because he knows that their parents won't allow her to pursue anything involving art career. and he know it will work because their parents never really watch TV and spend most of their time in lab. and so she got accepted on august of 2011. She trained there without her parents knowing and also starred in some dramas. she also befriends a lot of other trainees especially guys, mostly she hang out with BTS members. not so much with girls. the only trainee girl she was friend with was Eunha. she called her Eunha Unnie.
at the end of 2014. her contract were ending and told that she could leave and not extended her contract because big hit wouldn't debut another girl group for who knows how long after GLAM incident, big hit can recommend her to other company. she refused and she said she'll wait, she like it here and didn't want to move to another company, she's okay with only acting for now. other girl trainee was already leaving one by one. including Eunha who then joined another company and later debut in Gfriend.
early 2015 she signed a new contract, a shorter one, a year contract in case she change her mind.
the mid of 2016.
her interest in the idol world was at peak during her high school years which cause her to skip her classes more and more. she mostly sneak out during self-study, art classes and lunch break. because in self study and art class the teaher would leave after giving out assignments. she sometimes does skip other classes by pretending to be sick or having "girl problem" when the teacher is a male, which then would always awkwardly excuse her to go to the health room. she then would say that she'd be sleeping but then sneak out of the window. the nurse is an old lady and just mostly dooze off. she only skip one to two hour each day. and her school is not that far from big hit.
and she did still maintain her scores high so her parents never really found out. until some girls who are jealous of her closeness with their crushes ruined everything. she was almost getting kicked out of school.
in her third year in high school when this happened, she has to take a break, right when her contract has a month left. so big hit let her take off to finish school. her parents were furious about this, they apologized to the school and promised that during her last year she won't take even a day off of school and put in extra hours, summer, winter classes to make up for everything. the school agreed because her parents are a big influence on the board as scholars who contribute to many happenings.
in 2017 graduating high school, she was accepted to a famous engineering college at 17, at the same time of the announcement for big hit new trainees where because her contract ended a year ago, she secretly auditions again with the help of her 1st brother.
she has the conversation with her parents and convinced them to let her follow her passion.
so she became a trainee once again but she asked the staff to not let people know she was a trainee before, she want to start fresh. it was surprisingly easy because she look really different from how she used to look. a lot of the trainee and staff are new, the old ones didn't recognize her. even bts members didn't recognize her, it was only after she whispered one secret they all share that they finally recognize her.
she only trains for 1 year before finally debuting in idol group.

she met the whole bts members during her secret training in big hit. They play a big role in her discovering her love for singing and dancing. the first time she met them was when she followed her brother to the company just like any other day. But that day her brother has a really long meeting. she used to just sit around reading books on his office but that day she finished her book and has no other thing to read. so she decided to walk around. other staff knows her already so they just let her wander around. one of the staff she's close with called her and invite her into one of the training rooms to eat some cookies. that was when she saw bts members practice for the first time. while eating cookies with the staff she watches them practice. every weekend she would sit in the back, eating whatever foods the staff offers her while watching them. at first, she stayed for the foods but then she found herself anticipating for the practice. she unknowingly hums, sings and dances to the songs bts members practice everywhere when she was watching movies, helping to cook or just during a boring class.
There was really no interaction between them until one day they were all arguing about something. it was a day where they are training alone without any coaches. there was no other staff at the moment so she thought she might have to get one of the staff before the fight escalate. but she was curious as to what they are arguing. what if the staff asks, like what if it's something unimportant, she'd be bothering the staff.
BTS members were standing in like a circle, she walked to them and quietly stood between Jungkook and Jimin. and listen to V who was explaining about how the dance move supposed to be. she suddenly said her thought out loud, "I don't think that was how the choreography goes." and the other members look at her.
V was angry, "then how does it go, smartass?" she was watching them practice with the coach the other day and she does have a good memory so she easily showed them how it goes. they were watching her with awes. the other members agreeing with her and praise how good she is. but v who was still upset said, "who are you, dude? are you a stalker or something? you keep watching us creepily from afar." RM smack V's head and told him that she is not a dude.
they were afraid that she'd be offended but she laughed instead and said, "I'm here for the cookies, hehe. do you guys want some?" she pointed at the box of cookies on the back
of the room.
"WHAT? THAT'S MY COOKIES!" Jimin runs to the cookies.
From then on she often practices dancing and singing with them. She got really close to them especially the maknae lines which are v, jungkook and jimin. They are really loud and silly when they're all together.
She calls jin, jhope, suga and rm hyung while she calls the maknae lines by their name.
Because jungkook is the youngest amongst bts members, it's only natural that Kim Tae Ah is really close to Jungkook. and even when he's the youngest she often feels that at times he feels more mature than the other two. and so she always confides in him. they got really close when she broke up with Sehun, Jungkook was the only one she talked to about it. Jungkook and her spent lots of time together both with V and Jimin or just the two of them.
He had told her that he like her but she told him that she wasn't sure of her own feelings and she's afraid that it will be like her past relationship. She's really fond of jungkook and she really didn't want him turning into one of the bad memories in her life. the next day was accidentally the day when she was forced took the year off so they never really talk about it anymore. when she got back, she thought it'd be weird between them but jungkook act as his friendly self and treat her just like he did before. They stayed a really close friend. That makes her really happy. Little did she know Jungkook still has feelings for her.
Jimin was the one who teaches her a lot of things during her secret training. jimin also does things with her that the guys don't really do like shopping, trying out new food places and going to pet cafes. they both love animals. she and jimin adopt and feed a bunch of stray cats together.
because they are seen together outside so often, it causes a dating rumor between them. and when people around them (not the media obv) ask about that they act lovey-dovey with each other and make fun of it. some people get it, others really thought they're dating each other.
She met him through RM who's close with him. RM are busy a lot and he likes to toss Jackson away to Tita when that happens. That's why she and Jackson hung together a lot during her secret training day. They get really close and Jackson really likes skinship. and because of her guy-like appearance during that time, the rumor of Jackson dating a guy blew up. They're just that close. Jackson took a liking of Kim Tae Ah because of her bubbliness and gullibleness. They just click with each other. They converse in English a lot. And they talk especially fast in front of bts members to mess with them.
When they get together it's just CRAZYYYY. Every time Jackson meets her, he always acts like he's a husband who just comes home from hard working day and yells, "Honey, I'm home." with both arms wide. Then she will tuck her hair behind her ear then they run to each other in slow motion. And they would laugh nonstop about it. People don't understand them at all. they don't do this outside tho lol.
The version when they meet outside is a spy on a mission, they sit in front of each other or standing side by side looking the other way and pretend to talk through some kind of communication device attached to their collar. Then after some joke about what their mission was, they laugh together. Tita's favorite mission is to help cats plotting world domination.
They call each other yeobo. and sometimes agent j/t.
Sehun is her ex-boyfriend. he's her first and the only boyfriend she ever has. They dated during her first year as a high school student. She got introduced to sehun through baekhyun. This was the only case where she likes a guy who likes her back. she was the girliest she ever been during their relationship.
They dated for about a year before he broke up with her suddenly. His reason was that he doesn't like seeing her with all her guy friends. This struck to her as really strange because all this time it has never been an issue so why now? She asked him that but he said he has always felt that way. This really broke her heart because she thought he was such a perfect person for her and she really loves him. But what can she say, she can't just stop being friends with all of her friends.
Because she and baekhyun are still close friends like a brother and sister, she still meets and hung out with sehun occasionally after the breakup. They are now good friends.
What she didn't know is that Sehun still in love with her and that she's the reason he seems like he's not interested in any girl. And the real reason why he broke up with her is that he was just becoming an adult at that time and she was so innocent, he was afraid that he would corrupt her slowly. He tried to be real gentlemen but at times he almost couldn't hold himself and be blinded with lust. He loves her after all, those two things cannot be separated. if you know what I mean here.

She met baekhyun when she was 15 he was her 5th brother's close friends. He was visiting her house and they got attached to each other realy fast. they play the same games and she gets the jokes he told. she was a rare species in baekhyun eyes. so he decided to keep her. he comes around often, kept buying her foods and things. like she was some kind of pet he needs to take care of and never let out of his sight. He's also close to V, they sometimes hung out together too.
Baekhyun being close to sehun, knows how heartbroken Sehun when they broke up, and he knows that he still loves her. So he kept on making things up to get them back together. Like setting up a meeting with both Sehun and Tita where he suddenly "get sick" and stuff. Because both Sehun and Tita are clueless, they did not realize this. Baekhyun can be said to be the bridge between them. Like he told Sehun things, clarify any of her rumors so that he doesn't get hurt. and casually mention sehun in conversation with tita. So far it's working, cause sehun and tita are good friends now.
She called baekhyun Oppa.
Kim Tae Ah is also close to exo members because baekhyun keeps bringing her to their dorm and events. He introduced her as his lil sister. They grow fond of her and just so you know, they were the source of her knowledge of things that are pretty lewd lol.
DO and baekhyun was the one who help her getting into acring. She often became an extra in dramas/movies they were shooting. And that was the start of her acting career.
She called them oppa.
She knows him through V who's close to him. He's the example of the second type of guy. Kim Tae Ah fell for him and confessed to him but he said to her that he just never see her that way. And he wants to keep being friends. He told her not to tell this to anyone as he doesn't want to make things awkward. She can never hate him, he's really nice to her, and is around a lot, which makes it really hard for her to move on. Until she got close with Sehun.
She called him oppa. This makes V, Jungkook, and Jimin want to be called oppa too. But she doesn't want to do so.
He was also the reason she got interested in the acting world in the first place, which is why she wanted Baekhyun and DO to help her with the acting world.
Kim Tae Ah 3rd brother is one of the large shareholders in Big Hit, the youngest at that too. He became an irreplaceable asset after he made a breakthrough during one of Big Hit largest legal crisis.
He's the brother Kim Tae Ah is closest to. he was the meddler whenever fights occur in their home. He's the biggest/tallest in the family which is why the other siblings would always listen to him. While the others are scared of him, Kim Tae Ah is really fond of him. she followed him everywhere. She was a clumsy kid because when she's focused on something she doesn't pay attention to her surroundings. He would take care of her when she got hurt and tells her interesting stories he made up to stop her from crying. She developed her imaginative trait from him.
He actually wanted to be a fiction writer but her parents wouldn't allow him to pursue after something "useless". That's why he was really supportive of Tita when she wanted to be an entertainer. now he really loves his job, because as he put it, 'it's like being a puppet master.'
She calls him oppa.
Kim Tae Ah 5th brother. Majored in Applied Psychology. He's now working in one of the largest broadcast industry in korea in the human resource department as an inter-organizational HR manager.
She's also really close to him. He used to be really mean to her when they were little because he wanted a baby brother but got a little sister instead. He would hit her and do pranks on her for no reason.
But then, when she was bullied by kids from the next neighborhood. He fought them. She remembered she was crying on the way home, her brother got bruises everywhere, they were hand to hand and he told her, "Don't ever let bullies like them hurt you. Because I'm the only one who's allowed to hit you, stupid!" Then hit her on the head which makes her cry even more. After that, he tried to teach her how to fight but got scolded by the 3rd brother instead.
He was friends with baekhyun in high school. They both used to train hapkido together. In 2012 they got in touch again with baekhyun when he was working on his bachelor dissertation on how the entertainment world in korea affects the people in it. During the study he did for his dissertation, Baekhyun offered to be one of the test subjects. But of course, it was just a way for Baekhyun to have excuses and a hideout for when he got bored. He went to play so often to their house that year. And that was how Baekhyun and Tita met each other.

they meet for the first time when tita was on her secret training but yuri doesn't remember her because she look so different before. yuri is curious of her because tita is close with bts members. she's mostly curious about her closeness with jungkook, her crush. that's how she found out that even when she's always late and misses a lot of training, she was training really hard alone.
one day after she sees jungkook cheering tita up and give her a hug she became more of upset than curious. so during tita's training alone at night she came in and burst out her thought and asked her what's her relationship with jungkook. and tita simply answer, "he's a friend." and continue training. hearing this yuri feels relief and then she sits on the back watching her. "why are you always training alone at night?"
"i like training alone. i can't sleep at night and i just can't wake up early, so i have to make up for it somehow right?"
"yeah, but like, don't you care that people are talking about you behind your back?"
and there was a silence.
"i don't."
"hmmm"
"no matter what i do, people talks so why bother caring."
"yeah but don't you want those who's significant for you to not misunderstood you?"
and there was another silence.
"i feel like you'll be good friends with the other members. why is it that you don't hmm"

"you seem to disappear a lot."
"yes. i don't like dramas."
"what?" yuri stood up from her seat and stand near her. "but dramas are fun!"
"no, it's annoying."
"hmph. i love dramas. i live for it." then she started to practice with her. "you should do this part like this."
and that was the beginning of her friendship. yuri wake her up in the morning often, sometimes tita just woke up because she got annoyed. since then she's late or misses the training less. she also would accompany her training at night.
tita cares about yuri but sometimes just annoyed at how much she loves dramas. she'd tell her all about it even when she didn't ask. but tita is amazed at how she would just say anything she want and still get the girls to like her.
tita at times can be really caring, like cheering her up or help her with something. she's good at motivating yuri, she's purposely making a competition out of it and that usually does the trick. other times she would just completely shut her out and disappear for a while. this really make yuri confused as well really interested. she can't tell whether they're really friends with each other.
tita is still close with jungkook but not as close as before, it might be because she went away for a year or because of jungkook confession. and during that year yuri became closer to jungkook.
tita know that yuri like jungkook but he's just too stupid to realize it. and she wanted her to be with him. because she feels like yuri would be good for jungkook. she also feel bad that she had rejected his feelings before. so she keep on helping yuri to get closer to jungkook. like when they were hanging out with some bts members, she purposely make them sit next to each other, pushing her so she leaned on jungkook and stuffsssss.
But people only know that she train for a year.
her start in big hit wasn't flowers and rainbows, because her brother position on big hit is high, people often misjudged that she got in because of connection, etc. even if that's not the case.
the fact that she's close with many big hit artists and also other companies artist/trainee which are all guys don't help.
she's nocturnal as a result of studying hard during the day and training during the night in her senior year. so she's usually tired, often waking up late and missed training which has become the main reason why she often upset other trainees and how the gossip on that she got in because of connection spark up.
but she somehow is as good as the others when it's time for evaluation.people think she's a stuck up genius instead and hate her for it. basically, everything she does just becomes fuel for others to dislike her. she doesn't really care for it. she has her real friends and that's what really matters for her. until one night one other trainee found out that kim tae ah trained alone at night, she realized she does care and is tired of people judging her no matter what she does, that girl then becomes her first girl best friend.
in the beginning, it was fine how she trained alone and she does like it as she doesn't really get along with the other trainees. so she doesn't really try to change.
then she became a hindrance when she was put in the group and all the synchronized choreography start rolling in. she kept going out of sync because of the lack of training together with the other members. solving this as a group was the start of her opening up and getting closer with the other members.

there was one really big scandal between her and jackson of got7. this rumor causes people to think that jackson was gay for a while. not true. refer to relationships column for more details.

but he often think of himself as a hindrance to the other members. he has always feel the need to work and try harder than anyone in anything, even friendships. to the point of getting health problem. another reason for him to feel like he's just bringing the team down. in his mind, he's never the best at anything, just average. nothing just ever good enough. he never shows this though.
tita and taehyung are close friends during the secret training. their friendship is weird. people sometimes can't tell wether they're friends or enemies. because they wasn't getting along with each other yet are really close. they always hung out but never really just the two of them. they disagree with each other in almost everything and argue about it, it's almost like they did it on purpose. no one wants to loose. they pranks each other and call each other names. it's just chaos whenever the two meets, they're really loud and just create troubles in the company. the others refer to them as taes duo. but they both actually enjoy those fights, those pranks, they're just having fun. and the names are almost like a term of endearment.
whenever tita has trouble/issues taehyung always make fun of her and do pranks on her. other people would see this as rude. but everytime he did that tita would get angry at him and fight back. when they're tired. they would sit next to each other, taehyung would give her a bar of chocolate and they'd share it. they'd talk and he'd suggest stupid and hilarious way to solve her problems. this always make her laugh and feel better. it's just that somehow her problems always seemed to not be as big as she thought it was.
that was so until the day she came back to the company as a trainee. because she looks different, more girl-like, taehyung suddenly doesn't know how to act around her at first. tita tried to prank him and keep disagreeing with him but he doesn't fight back. so she just dropped it. it's now just silence and awkward hellos between them. they still hung out with the other members but never really talk to each other.
that was until one night in the training room.
as you know tita is nocturnal and she always trains alone late at night, she always used bts's old training room because no one really use it anymore, bts members has moved to a bigger training room. it's more like a storage now for some of bts's old merch, stage costumes and props. but those stuffs are in the back, there's still a lot of space in front like 3/5.
that one night she sees taehyung was sleeping on the floor with a jacket as a blanket, his back was on the mirrored wall. she didn't want to wake him up so she sit near him leaning against the wall while watching her last night's training video to see what needs to be improved with a headset on.
but suddenly v mumbled on his sleep, he was breathing hard and have cold sweats, he seemed really scared. so she woke him up. v sit up straight and seeing tita there he hugged her for a really long time and she let him. when he finally let go, he apologized for hugging her. it was the first time they hugged each other. tita said it's okay. they sit in silence for a while. that was the first time she saw that side of him.
he asked her what is she doing there. and she told him about how her sleeping cycle is ruined after the year off and she kept missing and coming late to the training so she need to train at night to make up for it. no one uses this training room, and she likes training here, it reminds her of their old days.
she asked him why he was sleeping alone there. he told her for the past years he had a reccuring nightmare and sleeping in the old training room used to bring him comfort and drive away the nightmare. but as she sees, that's no longer the case, even the old training room doesn't bring him comfort anymore. he didn't know what to do.
tita said that she used to have this clown-related nightmares when she was little after watching an episode of the old "It" mini series by stephen king with his 5th brother one night. her 3rd brother made her a hot chocolate with ginger and she would sleep like a baby till the morning. and she said, you know my brother keeps a mix in his office lemme make one for you. so they sneak into his brother's office and make a drink, she also took some cookies. they drink it back in the training room and they have a really great talk that night. they talked about how they were in the last year they didn't meet each other both funny stories and more serious issues. they make fun of each other and laugh.
taehyung fell asleep, watching him sleep, she realized how much she wants him to always be happy, he has always cheered her up and make her feel better and this time she finally gets a chance to do so.
she stayed with him until 5 in the morning while reviewing her dance video. she sneak out and goes back to the dorm leaving taehyung sleeping alone. he woke up feeling well rested without any nightmare. he thought the drink really worked but when he tried to make it back at his place he still has nightmares.
after that night he went back to his cheerful, annoying self as if nothing happened. he's no longer awkward with tita and not as rough as he was a year ago. he disagree less, his prank's milder, and he just calls her one nickname that's not too insulting. don't get it wrong, he's still really annoying. one thing's that doesn't change was how he cheer her up when she's in trouble.
he visited her again when she was practicing at night a week later, he told her the drink doesn't work when he tried to make it at home, maybe he make it wrong. then she said, but it's a mix. how could you make it wrong. he said, i don't know.
so now everytime he can't sleep because of the nightmare he would go visit her. she would make him the drink, they'd talk a bit and he'd sleep in the back while she practices. he knew that what makes him sleep peacefully was being with her.
the closer they got the less were the night when he got the nightmare. every now and then even when he didn't have any nightmare he would visit her just because he misses her.
tita doesn't mind him being there even when she act like she did. she actually like having him there, so she doesn't feel so alone. not being able to have a connection with the other trainee/members makes her feel lonelier than she thought she would.
those nights were the times when both of them spend time alone together. they both grow feelings for each other over time. but no one said anything.
Tita considers taehyung as someone really special.
she's having a hard time being a trainee. she didn't get along with the other girls and her friends are all now popular so she didn't get to hang out with them as much as she used to. she didn't do good with teamwork. she often hurt other people by the things she says or does. people talk so much and harsher than they used to. they also being cautious around her. and it slowly get to her. she didn't even like herself anymore.
moreover after debuting she has to act a certain image and have to pretend like she's really close with the other members. she started to have this mechanism where she adapt and match how she would act around each person. time just moves so fast and she feels overwhelmed by everything that happens around her. she often feels like she's in a dream. and she has no control over her own life.
she told herself that she's fine and that this is all normal. and that she's just becoming normal. but deep down she knows, that she changes little by little and she's scared of becoming an entirely different person. the only time she feels like herself is when taehyung is around. because when he's around she can really laugh, get angry and even cry. and he's okay with that.
Taehyung considers Tita as someone really special.
he has this recurring nightmare about how he messed up and ruined BTS. he disappointed the members, the staffs that worked hard and he let down the fans and his family. in the dream it was really terrifying and dramatic and the consquences was beyond logic. yet they feel real.
those dreams were not without any base. as BTS grow popularity, he think of himself as a hindrance to the other members. for so long, everytime he had those nightmare he would got up and train instead of sleeping. he has always feel the need to work and try harder than anyone, to the point of getting sick because of the exhaustment from training too hard and the lack of sleep because of the nightmare. another reason for him to feel like he's just bringing the team down. in his mind, he's never the best at anything, just average. nothing just ever good enough.
But since that day he met her in the training room. He feels really relaxed around her. he feels a sense of familiarity, she reminded him of the old days. with her he feels needed, and that's something that's been missing from his life lately. with her he has never feel the need to try hard, it seems like everything he says and do always felt right. being with her makes him feel so light, like a huge weight just being lifted off his shoulder. she makes him feel like maybe he's finally enough.
other things:
They don't only meet at night in the training room. they also hang out with maknae lines or the whole members. taehyung keep randomly popping out suddenly next to her, he just came running whenever he's free.
when they're outside and it's cold, v sometimes lend her jacket to tita, but tita then would take it home and never return them. this happen several times. she would wear it out and when he asked it back she would refuse to do so. since then v swore to never lend her his jacket anymore, but he sometimes forgot.
on v's birthday tita gives him a jacket and when he lent it to her, she gives it back. that's why he wears it often, and gladly let her borrow it.
byeonTAE (ert tae). she call him this because of an accident that happened during one of her trainee day. taehyung was half asleep after sleeping in the training room and got into the female restroom. when he's finally wide awake he realizes he was in one of the stalls. he wanted to go out but people keep coming in and out of restroom. so he texted tita and ask her to save him. he ask her to keep that as a secret. in return taehyung owe her three wish to grant. the other bts members thought taehyung did something to her.
TT. V sometimes call her this to make fun of her for being a crybaby in front of him.
rivals keep showing up, which was why taehyung want to make their relationship clearer. he doesn't want to lose her.
one day taehyung ask her to meet him on the old training room. he told her he has a nightmare and wanted her to make a hot chocolate with ginger again for him. when they're there he said to her that his nightmare was that he'd loose her and never get to tell her how he actually feel. so then he confess his feelings to her. tita hesitated, she was scared and told him that she doesn't feel the same way and that she's sorry. taehyung know she was lying because she avoided his eyes. she walked away. as she was opening the door v grab her hands, closed the door. tita was surprised. she said, i-i, we are really good as friends and i really don't want to loose you as a friend. and i-i'm sorry but i really don't feel the same--
she stopped her sentence when taehyung lifted up her chin so that she looked at him. then taehyung slowly leaned in to kiss her, he looked for signs but tita wasn't fighting it so he kissed her. it was a peck and then they look at each other. tita looked away, holding in her smile. he lifted up her chin again and kissed her again, this time a real deep and long kiss. and she kissed him back with her hand around his neck. when they finally stopped, he asked her, what were you saying again?
she hit him on his chest and he laughed. and that's how they begin to date each other.
