His hair color is naturally blonde with the shades of icy light blue.

► When not in his uniform, Sejin usually wears immaculate top with long sleeves that are mostly white and modest, tucked into fitted black pants, and wears long black laced boots. He also usually seen wearing a distinctive hood, especially when he feels like his hair color is too bright.

► Sejin tend to be more focused in general, even when he is being absent minded. This natural focus he tend to have also heightens the level of detail of his automatic observations. He can notice finer details of information much more than others. He will more than likely describe more details and have a deeper analysis of the situation, merely due to the fact that he is accessing a larger mental pool of information to draw conclusions from. However, seemingly small actions and sounds tend to annoy him at times when he's concentrating on other things.
► Sejin has a lot of kindness and care to go around, generally patient with most people, but he still has his own limits. Because he's usually so gentle and tries not to come off as rude, it's always a surprise whenever he starts yelling. Usually, whenever he lectures or chides someone, it's with a careful tone, but sometimes, he'll just go on a nagging tangent and start complaining.
► Sejin immediately comes off as a cheerful and bubbly person and easy to get along with. He is a person who always holds a smile on her face, seeming happy more times than not. While he may appear a bit too eager to some, he generally attracts people with his extroversion. People who don't know him are inclined to think he may have ulterior motives when he goes out of his way to speak to people - particularly those who are shy. And while that may be the case sometimes, the truth is that he honestly wants other people to feel comfortable and confident. However, there’s more to the boy behind that bright smile and velvet-coated words. Sejin, in reality, is independent and ambitious, striving to meet his own goals before others.
► Sejin is always looking on the bright side of everything, not wanting others to feel down. He'll keep the smile on his face and even if things seem super rough, he'll keep his hopes up, assuring things will get better eventually.
► Sejin usually doesn't cower in stressful situations. If pushed passed his limits and becomes overly stressed, however, he is prone to making mistakes that in turn frustrates him even more. He gets both annoyed and embarrassed if people point out his mistakes and will most likely fire a comeback to hide his embarrassment.
► Sejin is shown to be quite confident about his abilities. He has a clear understanding of the strength of his power, his limits and what he wants. He isn't one to flaunt his abilities. In a sense, he's somewhat reserved about his thoughts concerning his strength and finds it horrible to go around giving yourself a big head. He knows what he can achieve and that's something he doesn't have to prove to anyone. Though he doesn't go around proclaiming he's the best, it's pretty obvious he has low key placed himself on a high horse and may come off as smug. This wouldn't be entirely farfetched seeing as he does take pride in his own abilities.
► He's alert at all times, always aware of everything and everyone surrounding him. It might be safe to say that Sejin has a heightened sense of awareness that stems from his upbringing. It's hard to catch him off guard since he's always on his toes and anticipating something to happen. Perhaps it isn't the best for him to be so alert at all times. He's often suspicious of people he doesn't know, and always concerned that they might have ulterior motives.
► Very blunt and direct, but he tries not to come off as rude. Sejin is afraid of being incorrect in his speech, and is usually thinks twice before he talks unless he’s quite sure of what he wants to say.
► Sejin is likely to have difficulties dealing with anything that does not require logical reasoning. When his critical minds and sometimes neurotic level of perfectionism are applied to other people, all but the steadiest of friends will likely need to make some distance from him.
► Sejin is the type to be upset by something without showing it, choosing instead to hold it in. Because of this, he often deals with his emotions on his own, which makes him feel lonely.
background /
Sejin was born in a mysterious village that had been erased from Dalbyeol’s map since almost half a century ago. Not many people lived there – probably less than 200 people – and half of them are still underage since most of them left the village when they grown up. The village was flanked by two steep mountains so it was very difficult to reach out by the outside community, unless they have the ability to fly. It was rare for outsiders to know about this village, so that some laguz from bird and dragon tribe were safe to enter the village. There were some laguz who even live and have families there, like Sejin's father. There were also those who were married there but could only come to visit once or twice a week due to their strikingly appearance, like the Woojoo's father. Sejin's father was a laguz from red dragon tribe whose appearance was almost identical to beorc in his human form – except his pointed ears and the markings on his face – which made him easier to blend in if they get a visit from an outsider, despite being known for very un-welcoming towards strangers. Unlike Woojoo's father whose appearance was striking with large brown wings stuck on his back due to being a hawk laguz.
They live peacefully there without interference from the outside world. Residents claimed that the dusk was the best time of the day, where they could see the tired but happy faces of the farmers who were on their way from the fields to the house, smell delicious dishes from the house provided by the wives for their husbands and children, and hear happy laughter of children who were playing on the field, waiting for their mother to call them for dinner.
Living in a secluded village doesn't mean they don't know about the story of the outside world. After all, history was their lullaby and astronomy was their guide to determine when the right time to start the planting period and to know the direction of the wind and road. Sungjin and Sejin were lucky that their mother was one of the people who mastered several aspects such as astronomy, history, and philosophy, so it's safe to say that they were better in those aspects than other people their age in the village. Being a dragon branded also helped them to learn faster because according to history, dragon branded is generally very good at managing strategies – in their case it was a strategy to master the lesson faster than others.
But of course happily ever after is only exists in fairy tales. No one has disturbed their village for almost the past half century does not mean that no one had realized the disappearance of their village from the map. Of course in the dungeon far below the palace, the original map of Dalbyeol was still stored. Although it took a long time to reach the village, they finally arrived there, intending to expel all animals that were not supposed to live there and give them a little warning for not paying taxes on the kingdom for a very long time. Even though they have a number of great fighters like Sejin's father, they are clearly defeated in numbers, and you can guess what happened afterwards. Blood flooded their land, all the laguzes were forced to die, many innocent people were killed – including young brandeds, and the remaining beorcs had to choose to serve the country or follow their family to the underworld.
Luckily at that time Woojoo's father was visiting, so he could take away some young branded before they were slaughtered by the mad beorcs. Or perhaps it couldn't be defined as lucky. They need to survive in a forest full of poisonous plants afterwards, before moving to another country that can receive them. It's the only safe place for them at that time. Those mad beorcs wouldn't chase them that far because they knew that no one could survive in that forest for a long time. There was no fruit they can consume since everything was poisonous. The water in the river also smelled bad and was poisonous so they can’t possibly fishing or even take water from there. They could take non-toxic water from several types of trees, but that won't be enough to make 16 young branded plus an adult laguz survive for a long time. Their journey took a whole week, and one by one died of hunger and fatigue. In the end of their trip only 4 branded were left – Sungjin, Sejin, Yoojoo, and Woojoo. They made it to Hwail, a country that was filled with people of their kind. Woojoo's father died shortly after they arrived there. He was clearly exhausted from having to keep the kids alive, even though in the end only 4 out of 16 kids who was survived.
The four branded ended up living in an orphanage. Sungjin as the oldest of the four decided to join the army several years later. The orphanage staff provided them proper foods and decent clothes but not money and fighting skills. They also need those things to survive, because there is a possibility that something similar will happen later. Yoojoo joined the army a year after Sungjin, while Woojoo and Sejin joined two years later.
