JOONYOUNG AND THE KIDS ARE NOT ALRIGHT !

> small bandaids or a small first-aid kit in sora's bag just in case joonyoung injures himself (again) at one point of the day
> joonyoung following her around everywhere suddenly at times and it just means he's hungry so sora indulges and cooks for him
> cleaning the apartment as bonding time
> long, quiet hugs, soft smiles, and subtly making sure sora's comfortable even in university or when they're outside (even if that means having to stay sober)
> perhaps lying his head on her lap and having her run her fingers through his hair (like a cat, maybe the only few times he lets himself be a cat)
> subtle gestures of friendship
> joonyoung prefers observing and learning about sukyung by the sidelines, ready to come forward if her comfort is compromised
> gentle gaze and reassuring smiles every so often (when necessary)
> joonyoung's always waiting for a sign to step forward, always reluctant, always prioritizing sukyung's comfort, always wondering if he's allowed to, if this much is okay or if it's not
> years of friendship has ingrained in his mind which things sukyung may or may not like
> a small gap of awkwardness tangible in the silence whenever the two of them are left in one room, the two unable to navigate their way towards one another (and perhaps, with joonyoung thinking sukyung would be uncomfortable with his presence, he'd often take it upon himself to leave first)
> joonyoung whining about wanting to work in a dog cafe instead (but he had this thing once where a dog didn't stop barking at him thinking he was a cat and although seungwan says that was just a dream, he rather not take the risk)
> waking dani up in the morning when her alarm fails to
> he has her name saved as "bae" in his phone because he'd been in a hurry when he first got it and never got to filling in the dani part so now, friends from university thinks it's his secret girlfriend or something and they can't be unconvinced for some reason and dani knows and she (most probably) just humored him and so he just let it be, it also saves a lot of time because he can pass up on mixers and soirees
> became friends with dani because of jaehyuk, eventually grew fond of her
> is the one who childproofed the apartment for dani
> tends to be overprotective over the girl and treats her almost like a little sister
> once got into a fight because of some "friends" who hurt her
> joonyoung prioritizes keeping the smile on dani's face
> joonyoung buying the milk this week which means "i have the authority over milk this week so you're not allowed to drink straight from the carton, got it? or i'm gonna break your legs"

> doesn't really have the same circle of friends but have enjoyed comfortable companionship over the years
> casual friendship and chilling over ramen and kimchi in front of the tv late at night
> joonyoung and hwan trying to outdrink the milk against one another only for jaehyuk to end up snatching the carton and drinking all the milk
> hwan looking at joonyoung in fear when he hands him a plate of breakfast, needing the assurance that it was NOT joonyoung who cooked it
> time: 4 am.

> silent anger that turns into exhaustion, rare fights that break out between them that leaves joonyoung gasping as if his body forgets how to breathe, leaves him crying on the floor, almost as if the world's telling him it's impossible to live apart from this boy even for just a day
