on the surface. joonyoung is the type of person you mistake to be the person you can trust the most among the siblings. he is, after all, intelligent, handsome, rich, and kind with a lot of friends and admirers. he would smile at you and you wouldn't even notice that he's not as kind as he looks unless you're the one to suffer the consequences.

SORT-OF-COMMENTARY
"hey! your brother is kim joonyoung, right? man, i'd give the world for my own brother to be like that. i heard he hosted review sessions for freshmen for last term's finals and apparently, no one who attended his review got a grade lower than B! he's smart, good-looking, and nice, too! ah, he's like an angel sent from heaven. if you weren't my friend, i would have probably confessed to him already!" the girl says to her friend, grinning brightly, unaware that her friend wasn't smiling in return, their eyes were wary, "...you should be careful. even the devil was once an angel," the friend (joonyoung's sibling) mumbled. "what was that?" "nothing."
BIOGRAPHY born an accidental child, joonyoung was someone they didn't plan on. nevertheless, he was taken in with open arms by his father and older siblings. but how did he know? it was because his mother never failed to tell him she regretted ever having him born every time he screwed up. in reaction to this, joonyoung, while growing up, often showcased mischievous behavior like climbing up trees, ruining bookshelves, and crashing his toy cars on walls on purpose just so he could watch them break. in summary, he was problematic and it was clearly seen by the amount of house helpers who chose to resign after having to deal with him. joonyoung knew all about that.
joonyoung was well-aware how awful he was to any person who dealt with him, even with his siblings. however, he revels in the fact that no one could control him, he belonged to no one and submitted to no one. thus, creating a divide between him and his siblings. they'll never know he was the one to witness the fights late in the night and shout at his parents to stop fighting, my brothers and sisters are sleeping! he was the first one to ever tell his mother to leave this house, we don't need you. and they'll never know but he was the one they'd hear crying when they wake up in the middle of the night. when their parents divorced when he was thirteen, he was the one to coax the youngest one to their room, telling them stories until they fell asleep, believing they were the ones who needed protecting the most. that was the last time he cried.
as he matured, there was a large estrangement between him and his family members, him often only talking to the youngest. he can't deny himself the fact that he feels something cold in his chest whenever they run to each other and not to him in time of problems. nevertheless, he never voices this out. even then, in opposite reaction to this relationship he has with his family, he became well-known in school when he stepped in high school as he shedded his bluntly troublesome personality and instead put in place a very charming one, sweeping off both boys and girls' feet, men aspired to be like him, and women wanted to be with him. not quite aware he disguised his manipulativeness behind his smile.
he is now in college, majoring in business administration in seoul national university. he stays in the dorms a lot of the time, often coming home only during holidays or when asked to be. he is admired by the general public and is acquainted to almost everyone in university. he is known to be one of the most sociable people in campus, always carrying a smile as he goes, although he is not as kind as he looks.

he tilts his head and smiles a soft smile. kim joonyoung at your service, i'm from the kims.
Q2: WHY DO YOU NOT WANT YOUR FATHER TO REMARRY? WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR SOON-TO-BE MOTHER?
he laughs, but almost hauntingly. it's troublesome for all of us, haven't he learned from his past relationship? this woman is only going to use him again and he isn't looking at the big picture enough to see this. there's no use getting in a relationship or even getting committed, what's the use? it's stupid and our house? it has no space for people like her or her family. he pauses when he's asked about the woman and how she thinks of him. he chuckles to himself, his eyes glinting. she likes me, but who doesn't, right? he didn't look like the same person who smiled softly during his introduction at all.

his eyes harden evidently. no one's gonna be my soon-to-be siblings because there will be no marriage happening.

me? destroy? he repeats and shakes his head. no, no, no, i'm not gonna destroy anything. destroy and joonyoung don't work together. he smiles brightly, almost as if he was a completely different person from the recent questions. and somehow, that's more terrifying. they're gonna be the ones to destroy their relationship, not me, not any of us. we'll only be tools, expand the cracks, injure from the inside, jumpstart the destruction, point out the little mistakes and make it bigger. then they'll be the ones to willingly break it off. he tilts his head and chuckles. because the easiest way to destroy is to break them in the inside. i know it... all too well.
