APPEARANCE :  The first thing people notice when they see Seoyeon is her face and their reaction is that of shock. It's not because she is exceptionally pretty or hideous. Her features are quite average. The reason, that people who have not seen her before gasp in shock at the sight of her, is her scar across her eyes(temple to temple, eyebrows to the bridge of her nose). After that, most people refuse to look at her, because no one wants to see someone else's tragedy. Most people don't notice how her plump and soft her lips are, how her black hair flows down her back or how her bones stick out a little unnaturally. 

FASHION STYLE : It's almost creepy how consistently perfect Seoyeon's uniform is. It's crazy how much effort she puts into taking care of her uniform, having 5 uniforms for 5 days of the week. She keeps her uniform pristine, always ironing it in the morning before she wears it. On the weekends, she does her laundry and completely changes her attire. When she's allowed to wear whatever she wants, she usually goes for colorful sweaters and differently patterned pants. Then her clothes are not as impeccably cared for and she often leaves her hair in a mess. xxx

PERSONALITY :  Seoyeon is a troubled individual, who has learned to cope with the world around her by closing herself off. Most people don't understand her and write her quiet nature as arrogance. She keeps to herself and rarely interacts with people unless necessary and then keeps her words short. In her mind, interacting with people is nothing, but bothersome. There is one person she managed to open herself up to and it's her only and best friend, Kim Yuri. 

Despite being so withdrawn, Seoyeon is in no way boring. Her mind is always racing with unrealized ideas and plans, thoughts that take her to different worlds; thoughts that are sometimes harmful. Because she tends to be very obsessive over some ideas, those ideas can be very dangerous for her. She has periods when she hyper focuses on something, forgetting to do even basic things like eating, but she soon gets bored and moves onto something else. 

Seoyeon is also very ambitious and wants to be the best at everything, but does her best to repress that side of hers. She wants to avoid attention at all cost and being the best at something would guarantee the opposite. There are times she will forget such things because of her competitive nature. Something might set her off and then she just won't rest until she has won over the person who /dared/ trigger her competitiveness. 

Despite her avoidance of human contact, Seoyeon is very talkative and a very good conversationalist. When Yuri and she are alone, she just won't shut up about this new thing that she has found and is interested in. She loves debates and the only time one would hear her talk in public is if she does not agree with something and has the urge to debate this with the person she does not agree with. Seoyeon loves to examine facts and the way truths of life affect people, but when it comes to debates she couldn't care less about people's emotions as long as she gets the truth across and wins the argument. After all, she's always right. 

In most situations, she adapts to change very easily. She might not like something, but if she has to she will adapt as soon as humanly possible. This gives her an advantage over others and she knows this because she views most of the interactions with people as battles. She is a great analyst and abstract thinker; she thinks fast and comes up with perfect arguments to defend her case and then comes up with counterarguments against her case before her opponent can register what she has said. She is never afraid to hurt anyone's feelings; after all, you either kill or get killed. 

BACKGROUND :  Park Seoyeon was born into a fairly well-off family. She had everything growing up. Loving, but strict parents; playful and teasing big brothers. She was a happy child. Of course, life had to be cruel and change that. On her way back from school, Seoyeon was kidnapped at the age of 9. The whole community searched for her, but all hope was lost after two months of searches. She was only rescued when the authorities managed to bust a ography ring chasing other leads. The time she spent with the other kids and her kidnappers was too horrible to express with words. 

Already damaged beyond repair, Seoyeon was sorely disappointed by her parents when she returned home. Her father refused to even look at her, too shocked by what had happened to her; her mother could not believe that she was her child and demanded that the impostor be kicked out and her real daughter returned. Sadly, her brothers and their family dog, Charo, were the only ones who welcomed her with love and support. Seoyeon will be forever grateful for that. 

No counseling and sibling love could help Seoyeon when her own mother was now her enemy. The woman continued rejecting Seoyeon, insulting her and calling her names, claiming that her pure seoyeon would never be tainted in such way. Seoyeon was desperate for her mother's love, but it never came. Eventually, the woman lost her mind completely. Misfortune seemed to favor Seoyeon and the last straw was drawn. 
 

At 11 years of age, Seoyeon received the gruesome scar on her face that now turns every person that looks at her away. All she remembers from that fateful day is the feeling of boiling water pouring onto her face and screaming from the pain she felt. That was the day Seoyeon's powers awakened. Both mother and daughter ended up with scars. The burns on Seonyeon's mother's body were so bad that she had to spend the next 6 months in a medically induced coma, barely having survived. After that, she was transferred to a psychiatric facility, while Seoyeon was sent off to Nelore Academy. 

Seoyeon's self-hatred just grew and grew as she was cut off from the only source of warmth in her life. She blamed herself for what had happened and just wanted to disappear. At first, she did not realize it, but she had started to starve herself as a form of punishment and started to withdraw from reality and the people around her. Everything was going wrong.  She tried to end her life at the age of 14 by hanging herself in her room but was saved only thanks to the power she despised so much.  She was hospitalized and held back a year because of her mental issues. She spent more than half a year inpatient at a psychiatric facility. It was hard, but she has made a lot of progress in her recovery. She's fighting this lifelong battle, but she likes to think that she's mostly recovered.  

LIKES: 
— The sun
— Classical music, as it tends to calm her down when she's especially anxious and helps her along with her creative work.
— Books and movies in the genre of psychological thriller and horror. She finds the human mind fascinating and thinks that analyzing such movies and books is a great experience. 
— Cold weather; especially when the temperature is below freezing, but the sun shines.
— She is particularly in love with philosophical books and loves to read different authors, especially Nietzsche.
— Closed Spaces. When she has something to think about or when she's anxious, she likes to crawl under her work table or into her closet and curl up into a ball.  

DISLIKES: 
— Crowded places as they tend to make her uncomfortable and may even induce an anxiety attack.
— Alcohol and any substance that will mess with her perception and cerebellar function. 
— avocados. Seoyeon does not know what it is with avocados, but she absolutely hates them. It's the only fear food she has yet to conquer. 
— Noisy places.

— Ice skating; and she's actually very good at it, managing to do a few tricks 
— Nail art; her nails are always painted in some cute way if she manages to get away with it at school.

HABITS:

— Scratching at her wrists; she has replaced this with snapping a hair band onto her wrist, which helps her focus her thoughts, but sometimes when she forgets to wear the band or has her hair tied up, she still does this. 
— washing her hands obsessively; she used to wash her hands so much that she had blisters and broken skin because her skin would get so dry, but she's learning to overcome her obsessive habits. Now she's always carrying a hand cream and tries to wash her hands as few times as she can.

TRIVIA :
— She's blind in her left eye, but practically no one (except the faculty and yuri) know about this at school. she has been partially blind since the incident with her mother.
— She takes frequent trips to the nurse's office because of her health issues and because she still sometimes fasts unintentionally and skips meals, which eventually makes her lightheaded. 
— She loves stationery items and possesses collections of all kinds of stationery items. Her especially beloved item is a big panda pencil sharpener with a turning handle. 
— Seoyeon has a vinyl player that she received as a gift from her eldest brother on her 15th birthday and a collection of vinyl plates of artists like "the talking heads", "the smiths", "Queen" "Pink Floyd" and so on.
— Seoyeon has a great voice and actually plays a couple of instruments. She was taught how to play piano from a young age but also knows how to play guitar and a little bit of drums. 
— She has a very high pain tolerance and endurance. 
— Seoyeon also has very cute pink onesie pajamas with penguins on it. 
— when she graduates she wants to travel the world.
— on summer vacation, she sometimes goes out in the evenings to play her guitar and sing in the streets. 
— Yuri and Seoyeon are currently looking for some talented people to join their band, that Yuri keeps insisting is a great idea.

 Seoyeon and Kyungsoo have not spoken to each other in years. Each holiday or birthday, the man just sends her a congratulatory card, flowers and an envelope of exrra cash for her to buy herself a present. The longer he avoids dealing with his mistakes in her upbringing the harder it is for him to deal with it and  the bigger his guilt grows.

— Mother : Park Hyesu(moon so ri) / 57 / Unemplyed; former ballerina / sensitive; Aesthetic; observant; has excellent social skills; Impulsive; overly emotional; (ESFP)

 Seyeon has neither spoken nor seen her mother since the incident seven years ago.

Seoyeon and Banri don't see each otehr much, but when they do it's like no time has passed. They can talk about literally any topic, as if there's no between them. Every first sunday of june they, along with sunngi, go to out together to celebrate Seoyeon's borthday as they don't really know what work Banri will have to be juggling on her actual birthday.

— Brother : Park Sunggi (2pm junho) / 27 / owns a cat cafe / Curious; observant; very friendly; outspoken; Highly emotional; stubborn; independent; (ENFP)

Sunggi is the most outspoken one in their family. While everyone else prefers to ignore their condition, sunggi openly scorns their father for the way he handles everything that has to do with people. Sunggi is the person Seoyeon calls when she feels like the world is ending. He's the person she confides in. She can spend talking hours on the phone with him, while she would not be able to tolerate doing that with anyone else.

Seyeon and Yuri interact with each other daily during classes, between them and after them. Yuri's persistance is what really drove them to become friends and Seoyeon loves her for it. To Seoyeon, Yuri is a wonderful human being, she's exepmlary, someone to look up to. She's popular and friendly with everyone, but chooses to be close to just Seoyeon and that makes seoyeon value their friendship even more.

Professor Koh Jongsuk is a person Seoyeon has to spend quite some time with because of their out of class control sessions. Because Seoyeon hates her ability so much and has so much trouble controlling it, she needs extra lessons to somehow learn to deal with herself.

THE ABILITY:  Seoyeon's ability involves pretty much anything that has to do with fire.  Her fire is extremely strong and unpredictable. It burns anything end everything except Seoyeon(yes it burns her clothes too). One of her special moves is when she becomes the fire herself. She does not really know how it works, but once she totally loses control it's as if her fire consumes her and burns all of her away only to leave behind a silhouette of flames. 

STRENGTHS: Seoyeon's fire is extremely strong and will burn through anything. Even the strongest of ice users would not be able to hold her fire down. That's mostly because her fire is almost synonymous with her life. It acts like her life force, as a manifestation of her emotions and because Seoyeon can't really express those emotions any other way, her fire feeds on them. Because of her past, she has an excess built up of extremely strong negative emotions which in turn make her fire uncontrollable, unpredictable and monstrous. In her ultimate - super saiyan - state, it's as if there is no physical limit to her. She moves faster than the eye can see and burns anything close to her, like the sun. 

WEAKNESSES: The main drawback of using her fire is that it uses up a remarkable amount of energy. Because if anything goes remotely wrong Seoyeon turns to starving herself, this energy drain can even cause her to faint and stay passed out for days. It's extremely dangerous for someone like Seoyeon and this makes her hate her power even more. 

OTHER TALENTS: Despite her frail frame, Seoyeon is surprisingly good at hand to hand combat. Even though her punches and kicks don't pack much force, she is very agile and knows how to deal the most damage in the most painful places. When it comes to weapons she prefers to use long distance weapons, because the more engaged she becomes in combat the more likely it is for her to lose control. While she's no good at negotiations because of her insensitive nature, she's very good at keeping a poker face, bluffing and using intimidation tactics. 

MENTAL HEALTH: As a child, Seoyeon was diagnosed with ADHD, for which she still takes medication. She has learned to think of it as an advantage because even during combat it keeps her mind racing and while a telepathy user would have an advantage over others they would be too confused by her rapidly changing, random in nature thoughts.  

After her kidnapping, she was diagnosed with PTSD, which she has been dealing with for more than 7 years now and has made tremendous progress in her therapy for it. Because of her PTSD and additional incidents with her mother, she developed Anorexia Nervosa and is currently in recovery for it. (if you would like me to provide additional information about her eating disorder such as what her triggers are, I'd gladly provide it) 

PHYSICAL HEALTH: Physically there are 2 things that really hinder her. Firstly there's the fact that Seoyeon is blind in her left eye and that limits her visual field. Over the years, Seoyeon has learned to deal with and compensate for her disability. 

Secondly, there is the fact that she is still underweight. While she does her best to restore her weight and has actually come a long way(her lowest weight being 36kg) that does not change the fact that she's still underweight. She has built a lot of lean muscle over the last couple of years, but she still has a long way to go. 

DORM: Because of the fact that Seoyeon is considered an especially dangerous student, she lives in a single dorm. This gives her a lot of privacy that she is very grateful for. Her room is very spacious and cozy, with deep red walls. X.  On the other side of her room is her desk that is big enough to fit a desktop PC and her school books that are messily strewn on the table. Opposite to her bed stands a gramophone that she bought in an antique shop, which is a very proud find of hers. 

DAILY LIFE: Seoyeon believes that a good routine keeps the mind peaceful, so she never deviates from her weekly routine. On weekdays, Seoyeon wakes up at 5:30 because she likes to lay around for a bit. After that, she gets up and exercises almost obsessively, showers and irons her uniform. She has to make sure that her uniform is perfect before she leaves her room.  She does her homework in between classes. she finds that it does not take a lot of time to get them done so she never bothers to put it off.  

At School, Seoyeon does not really interact with anyone, but Yuri and her teachers. She distanced herself from her classmates a long time ago. Nothing dramatic happened, but nobody would want to interact with her after they got her initial impression. People around her all think she's stuck up and arrogant.  She does not really pay much attention to the daily dramas of the student around her, but she knows who's who. Since other students don't bother her at all, Seoyeon is rarely involved in anything that includes socializing with angsty teenagers.  There are some people she has noticed because of their loud lifestyle, as she would call it, of getting into trouble and being particularly favored or paid attention to by the teachers. There's a 4th-year telepath that she has noticed around the school and because she does not really like telepaths she keeps an eye out for Wang Seolhyun.  When it comes to the 2nd year, Mina, she finds her quite pleasant, the girl's amiable nature radiating through school. Mina reminds her of Yuri with how cute she is and if Seoyeon did not have so many problems actually trusting people and could develop long-term relationships, she's sure she would befriend her. There's another 2nd year that has caught Seoyeon's eyes and it's Kim Seunggyo. The first time Seoyeon saw Seunggyo was when he was playing saxophone in class and for a moment she thought he would be a good addition to her and Yuri's band, but then after some additional observation, she found that she did not really like Seunggyo's pretentious attitude. So as far as things go, she either dislikes the people around her or thinks they could be friends, but chooses not to involve herself with them. Seoyeon would rather just stay friends with Yuri, the person she's comfortable with.  There's no need to go out and develop an unnecessary headache in the form of getting to know new people. 

After class, she either heads back to her room alone to paint while listening to Mozart or with Yuri to hang out, watch a movie or work out together. 

On Saturdays, she has an early morning class with professor Koh that she despises with a passion, but then she gets to do whatever she wants with the rest of her day. If she's allowed to leave the campus that week, she'll make the lengthy trip to Sunggi's cat cafe and visit him. If not, she'll hang out with Yuri and relax. 
On Sundays, Seoyeon sleeps in and reads a book, before finally getting up in the late afternoon to prepare for the next week.

 When you already know the Truth.                         

Seyeon, after having waited in a long line for a little under an hour, is finally led into a dimly lit room, with long, scarlet curtains are pulled almost completely shut across large windows that cast a reddish glow. The large, wooden door suddenly slams shut behind Seoyeon, and she finds herself facing a young man with a black mask over his face. Seoyeon feels as if she knows this person, but she can't put her finger on it.

The interviewer might be smiling under his mask. Or frowning. Who knows?

The man is sitting behind a large desk, holding a pen with a black clipboard in his hands. Seoyeon is intrigued by the simultaneously familiar and strange man, standing tall as she waits for him to react to her presence. He motions for Seoyeon to take the seat in front of him. Seoyeon sits down, and readies herself for a barrage of questions. The man seems amused, judging by his body language. The man then leans back into his chair, with a soft squeak.

"Shall we begin?"

Seoyeon still isn't quite sure why Ledrith is holding an Interview for the students in the first place. But she doesn't have any choice anyway, seeing as there are some burly looking men outside the door. So, she nods.

What are you opinions about Ledrith Academy AS A WHOLE? Like how things are set up are separated. Do you think it's Good, Bad... maybe you don't care at all, and just want this interview to end as fast as possible. I wouldn't blame you.

"I do want this to end as fast as possible. I have no problems with the way the academy is run. I do think there's too much luxury for a school, but that's not something I would complain about"

"I don't really care, as long as they stay away from me"
