Saemi grew attached to the hip with her older brother. He was her best friend, the person she could confine in since their parents were usually always busy. Despite them being away from the children for long periods of time, Saemi remained closer to her father.
Saemi has always been rather reserved, especially when she found out she was pregnant. They had always taken extra precautions whenever they were together, it wasn´t like they were trying to conceive. It even took a few weeks before she confessed to Jaebum that he´d be a father. She had to admit that she had expected the worst outcome from him and not from her mother.
Jaebum was rather happy when she gave him the news that they´d soon have their own bundle of joy, making Saemi feel guilty about ever doubting him. Now despite their busy work schedules, they both raise their four year old son with the occassional help from his parents.
Saemi tries to spend as much time as she possibly can with Jaehyun, mostly because it makes her remember how empty she´d feel when her parents would be away, something she swore she didn´t want her child to ever feel. Jaehyun is her reason to strive for her goals.
