Being born under the zodiac sign Aries, Aeji holds a lot of the characteristics of said sign. Althought at times it may seem like there are more negative traits, she holds quiet a few positive traits as well. As an Aries she has what's considered 'one of the most complex personalities'. 

A dominate trait for a Aries is of course stubbornness, something that not only her family had to deal with but now her members and the staff as well. When her mind is set on something, there's no changing her mind. She also enjoys a good challenge every now and then, giving her the chance to prove people wrong, especially when it comes to her rapping skills.

background — Growing up under the watchful and protective eye of her older brother, Aeji always had a good relationship with him. In fact, she looked up to him. Namjoon and Aeji, together were a handful for their parents, often causing mayhem. Her homelife was nothing out of the ordinary, her father worked hard to put food on the table and a roof over his family's head, while her mother dedicated her time to the children.

 

The family resided in Seoul until Namjoon was 6 and Aeji was 5 before their father's job had him transfered to Wellington, New Zeland. While living in New Zeland, both of the Kim children studied and learned English. This was also around the time where Namjoon began to become interested in hip-hop and rap, something he shared with his younger sister. Aeji became very fond of the genres and became interested in writing lyrics, which she would often times work on them with her brother.

 

After her 12th birthday, the family moved back to Seoul. Around her 13th birthday and countless of visits to underground rap battles with Namjoon, Aeji joined a  crew, being not only the youngest but also the only female rapper there. During this time, she went up against her brother a few times, showing that not only was she as good as her brother, but showing her style.

 

She left the scene in 2010 when Namjoon auditioned for BigHit and became a trainee. It had been a hard time for her since she had never been apart from her brother. While she tried to go back to studying and finishing up school, she got into contact with her brother and it was him that encouraged her to audition. After giving it some thought and coming across B2M's audition, she went straight to work, pulling up one of her old raps. She passed the audition in 2011 and became a trainee.

Yoongi doesn't give a . He gives off the bad boy vibe, claiming that he doesn't care and it might seem like it with his blunt words. But Yoongi's got another side to him, even though he says he doesn't care, he actually does. He cares a lot. Especially when it comes to s, his fans and his music. Yoongi usually keeps to himself and it only gets worse when Aeji's around. He's usually awkward around girls but it seems to be a hundred times worse around his bandmate's little sister.

 

relationship —

It's every brother's worse nightmare, introducing his sister to his friends. After much convincing Namjoon finally agreed to introduce his bandmates to Aeji. At first glance, they all seemed like a friendly bunch, later she found out just how crazy the boys could be. Aeji hadn't planned to fall for one of her brother's bandmates, no. And she certainly didn't have her eye on a certain rapper with the gummy smile.

 

As a fellow rapper, Aeji looks up to not only her brother but to Yoongi as well. Whenever given the chance to visit her brother, Aeji would take the opportunity and use it as an excuse to see Yoongi. Sometimes she feels as if Yoongi doesn't return her feelings but it's only because Yoongi doesn't know how to express them correctly and most of all, he doesn't know how to do it without setting Namjoon off.
