as odd as this may seem, ko jiyong is much like an onion. there are several layers to him that seem to be endless. on the exterior he is no doubt the most handsome being to walk the earth quite the eye candy, yet he looks quite rough around the edges. his towering height and sculpted muscles that come from years training do nothing to help his intimidating outer appearance.however if you tAKE the time to get past the initial wall jiyong puts up, you would find that he is actually quite the opposite. jiyong is definitely not all sunshine and rainbows, more clear sky with the occassional surprise thunderstorm.

ko jiyong was born in seoul, south korea and the first five years of his life was no walk in the park for his parents. despite the fact that jiyong was physically progressing faster than the average toddler his age, which is no surprise considering the fact that both his parents are werewolves and considerably tall, he had yet to make long lasting relationship with any child his age, only clinging to his parents and easily getting into altercations with children his age. the small family of three were then pretty much forced to relocate to japan after jiyong's father was involved in a physical altercation with another pack member.

it wasn't a rare sight to see an oversized 5 year old following the 8 year old japanese male around the pack territory, and it seemed that the feelings between the two were mutual. yuto seeing jiyong as, " the annoying younger brother i've always wanted but never had". despite their age difference jiyong always wanted to do everything yuto was doing, even if his body wasnt capable of doing those things yet. his childhood was full of falling down and running around trying to prove to the adults of the pack that he was just as strong as his older brother.
