PERSONALITY :　
▸ Jooyeon used to be very naive and easily manipulated hence why she trusted her maker even though he was a horrible being. However she doesn't regret what she did, because she thinks that it's what you do and experience that makes you grow. The only thing she regrets is how she let herself be manipulated.

▸ Jooyeon is loyal to the people she believes in. She would never betray the coven, because they are her family. For her people who betrays their family, friends, etc... are not worth trusting and she even sees them as dangerous people. She doesn't believe in second chances, for her you don't make mistakes you make choices, that you have to take responsibilities for. That makes her unforgiving. The only people she would consider forgiving are her mate and maybe the coven if they didn't do something too horrible.

▸ She is very caring with her family and close friends. She is the type of person who will always make sure that the people she loves are happy and well. For the people she cares about she is not above killing someone to protect them. Other than that she is repressed. She doesn't like to show her emotions. People thinks she is asocial and aloof, but while she doesn't like being in big crowds, because she doesn't feel at ease, she is just not good with human (or vampire) interactions. Like she has two PhD's in physics and mathematics, a degree in English litterature, so yeah give her equations to solve or a book to explain, she'll do it in minutes, but actually talking to real people (that are not her family) in a real conversation, no way she'd much rather stay in her room.

▸ That being said in a battle of sass, Jooyeon woud win for sure. She always has a smart comeback for every conversation and always has the last word in conversations. She is really sarcastic especially when people ask her something that is obvious for her. People sometimes thinks she is arrogant because of her sarcasm, they always feel like she feels superior to them, which she is not, most of the time. 

▸ Jooyeon is honest. She doesn't see the point of lying to someone. But she is too honest at times and becomes just plain insensitive. She doesn't take much thought about people's feelings in general. When she has something to say she will say it, even if it hurt someone. For her the truth is way easier to handle than a lie. But at times she doesn't realize how hurtful she can be but once she realizes it she will apologize, if she hurt that person unintentionally. Sometimes she forgets that humans have feeling and they are not just bloodthirsty beasts like the vampires.

▸ She is also insensitive when it comes to drinking human blood. She doesn't mind killing humans (or vamps or werewolves, she is not discriminating). No let me rephrase, she doesn't mind killing people she doesn't know and have no emotional connection with. She could never hurt a member of her family or her mate, but if she is in bad mood and someone pisses her off, I can't promise your head will stay attached to your body. The only people she is unwilling to kill are children.

▸ Jooyeon has a great imagination. She loves to write and can create amazing stories. She had to create so many backgrounds and personal histories so people wouldn't notice that she was not human, that she developped her imagination. She is also great with coming up with plan, like when she had to come up with plans for her maker or just in general to get blood bags. 

▸ Lastly Jooyeon is a free-spirit, she hates being restrained by rules. She likes to do what she wants when she wants. Which caused tension with Eleanor, because she is so overprotective with her children that she made a lor of rules for them, and Jooyeon always had a hard time following them. And sometimes she doesn't follow them at all.  She follows her own moral compass, which although good, may not agree with that of her family or society in general. She believes in goodness but has little uses for laws and rules.

BACKGROUND :　
▸ Being Human 
Jooyeon was born in Seoul, South Korea during the Japanese colonization. Her parents were spices merchant. One of the only things she remembers from her human life is the smell of red pepper flakes on her father when she he would come near her, which always made her sneeze. Jooyeon doesn't remembers much from her childhood. She remembers her parents being loving towards her. When she was a teenager, she worked with her parents to help them. A Japanese officer used to come often to her parent's shop and he would always talk to her. One night someone came into her house, abducted her and killed her parents.

▸ True Blood 
She woke up a few days later in an unfamilliar environment. The Japanese officer, Nakamoto Renji, was here. She wanted to ask him what happened but a painful headache took her. Renji was in front of her in seconds and the next thing she knew she was drinking blood. Once the headache and the hunger subsided, she freaked out she pushed him and try to escape but he was faster than her and he prevented her from doing so. She screamed and called him a monster but he somehow managed to calm her. He explained to her that he was a vampire and that he was forced to turn her. He told her that he came to her house that night but when he arrived all he saw was her and her parents in a puddle of blood. She asked him why he didn't turn her parents and he told her that it was because they were already dead when he arrived, she was the only one remaining alive.

A few years passed after her transformation and Jooyeon was not allowed to go out because she was not in control of her hunger and of her gift. She discovered her gift when one day one of the vampire from her clan was close to her and she heard her thoughts. At first she was confused because she was sure that she heard her talk but then realizing that she didn't she went to Renji to ask him about it. He explained to her that some vampires had special abilities and that she was gifted with the power of Telepathy. He started to train her after that. 

For her first real outing after being turned, Renji brought her to Busan, because he told her that a group of hunters were killing vampires in that area. When they arrived, at night, they saw a vampire girl being attacked by a hunter and without thinking to protect her kind, she slaughtered the humans in the whole neighborhood. That's how her hate of humans began. She didn't understand why humans would kill innocent, according to Renji, vampires. Her hatred was so deep that all she wanted was to kill any humans who dared look at a vampire the wrong way. If before that incident she was guilty of drinking human blood, after that she felt no guilt whatsoever. After that when a group of hunters arose she was always the one Renji sent to deal with the problem.

Until that day, when she arrived at a small village near Gwangju, she found every one already dead. A small group of vampires was here draining the villagers of their bloods. Jooyeon asked them if they managed to deal with the hunters and they all laughed saying that they were just pitiful humans who weren't strong enough to be hunters. When she returned she asked Renji why he sent her kill those villagers if they weren't hunters.
"My dear Jooyeon, you can be so naive. None of them were hunters but it was so fun to watch you slaughter innocents like it was your favorite things to do."
"What do you mean, innoncents ? They tried to kill us. They thought we were monsters!'
"Yes they did but only because they were scared, as they should be, not because they hunted us."
"You lied to me? Why?"
"I have fun manipulating people, and you my dear were the funnest of them all. You see my gift is mind control and it would have been a shame not to test it on you. But admit Jooyeon you loved killing those people, you loved that rush, that sensation."
Jooyeon felt a rush of anger coursed through her.
"You're right I liked it. And I have to thank you for training me so well on how to kill someone quickly and efficiently."
The next moment Renji's head was on the floor and Jooyeon was free of Renji's mind control. And she remembered the night she was turned. She remembered seeing glowing red eyes just before feeling an excruciating pain. She also remembered never wanting to protest against Renji, as her thoughts were turned off. 

She then left the house Renji lived in after setting on fire. It was time for her to start a new chapter of her life.

▸ The Vampire Diary
She now lived in a small appartment in Seoul. Her hatred was not as strong as before however she still didn't like them, because even though Renji lied to her on the hunter part, she witnessed how cruel humans could be toward vampires. She spent the next fifteen years doing small jobs, trying not lose control and kill someone. Until one night, she was in alley drinking blood from a blood bag, she was so hungry she couldn't wait to be home to eat, that a tall figure came near her. 
"My name is Eleanor Clive, I've been looking for you Jooyeon."
Jooyeon stiffened, ready to attack.
"What do you want with me? And how do you know my name?"
"I'm not a threat Jooyeon, I want you to join my coven or more exactly my family. You're quite famous amongst the vampires and after what happen with your previous coven, I wanted to offer my help."
"Well if you know what happened you'll understand that I prefer to stay alone, prevents me from deceived."
"I understand, but I think you just met the wrong people. If you'll give me a chance."
After that they met regurlarly. To gain her trust and to prove she wasn't a threat Eleanor told her what happened when she was the Volturi. It took time but eventually Jooyeon agreed to come live with her. The first few weeks were hard because she wasn't to have a mother and a father anymore, and she never had siblings so it took some adjusting. 

The hardest for Jooyeon was drinking animal blood. She always felt weak, sick, cranky. But she trying her hardest for Eleanor and Pierre because she didn't wanted to disapoint them. Until one night, she was out late and she passed by a club, and just the smell of blood was so strong that she couldn't resist. She ended up slaughtering every people in the club. After that she called Eleanor in tears saying she was sorry and that she didn't mean it. Eleanor found her in the middle of the club covered in blood. After that incident, Pierre and Eleanor decided that it would be best to let Jooyeon have some human blood, to prevent another slaughter to happen.

After moving in with the Clives, Jooyeon decided to go to college. Since then she went to college three times and she is now working at a bookstore in Hongdae.

Jooyeon is really close with her 'parents'. She always goes to them if she has a problem or if she just needs a cuddle. She treats them the same way she treated her parents. They is no awkwardness in their relationship, eventhough Jooyeon was hesitant at first now she trust them with her life.

Being the 'baby' of the family has it's perks, her siblings always care for her and make sure she is okay. On the downside sometimes they baby her too much to. the point where she wants to scream at them that she is perfectly capable of handling herself. And let's be real sometime she does, when she really annoyed. She is the closest with The Alice Cullen. (I'll add some things when the characters are chosen)

▸ My maker is... sorry was Nakamoto Renji. And yes I remember him.

how did you feel when you were turned into a vampire? 

▸ I was scared and confused but I ended up accepting it since there was no turning back.

what did you feel when eleanor wanted to adopt you? 

▸ I was wary at first, after all that happened with Renji, but she gained my trust.

are you happy with the clive coven as your new family? 

▸ Yes I am. I mean if I wasn't I would have left, that's seems obvious.

when eleanor told you about your gift, what was the first thing you wanted to do with it? 

▸ I knew I had a gift because Renji told me, but he never really let me use. So I asked her a lot of questions about it. It wasn't really what I wanted to do with it, it was more that I wanted to learn more about it.

are you happy with your gift? 

▸ Yes and No. It depends on the day.

are you jealous of your other adoptive siblings' gifts? 

▸ Sometimes. I guess just being beautiful like The Rosalie Hale must be nice. Not having hundreds of voices in your head all the time.

▸ I don't like them they remind me too much of Renji.
