personality —

Kalena is loyal to the cause and the people she believes in. She would under no circumstances betray the Resistance. For her, people who betray the Resistance should be imprisoned or killed, because they can't be trusted. She doesn't believe in second chances, for her you don't make mistakes you make choices, that you have to take responsibilities for. That makes her unforgiving, the only person she would forgive is her brother.

She is very caring with her family and her close friends. She is the type of person who will always make sure that the people she cares about are happy and well. For the people she cares about, she is not above killing someone to protect them. Other than that she is repressed. She doesn't like to show her emotions. Some people think that she is asocial and aloof, but while she doesn't like big events with big crowds, because she doesn't feel at ease, she is just not good with human interactions. Give her data to analyse , no problem, but actually talking to a real human that are not her family, no way she much rather prefer staying in her office/room. 

In a battle of sass, Kalena would win for sure. She has a smart comeback for every conversation and always has the last word in a conversation. She is really sarcastic especially when someone ask her something that is so obvious for her. People sometime think that she is arrogant because of her sarcasm, they always feel like she is feeling superior to them, which she is not, most of the time.

Kalena is honest. She doesn't see the point of lying to someone. But she is too honest at times and then she just becomes plain insensitive. She doesn't take much thoughts about other people's feelings to begin with. When she has something to say, she will say it, evn if it hurt someone. For her the truth is way easier to handle than a lie. But at times she doesn't realise how hurtful she can be and it's only if she sees that it affects the person that she will apologize. She sometimes forget that humans have emotions unlike machines.

Kalena has a great imagination which allows her to come with great military strategies for the Resistance. She is great at analysing things/situations. It takes her less than fifteen seconds to come with a plan when the Resistance need a quick plan, and maybe thirty seconds when she is under pressure. She can process and analyse date really quickly which allows her to find the problem or the solution for something. She is really smart, some might say she is a genius when it comes to military strategy, but her knowledge of what happened in the galaxy before she was born, and just about the galaxy in general, astounds people. 

Lastly, Kalena is a free-spirit, she hates being restrained by rules. She does what she wants how she wants. The only person she truly listens is her mother. She follows her own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society. She believes in goodness but has little uses for laws and rules.

Birth and Childhood
Kalena Padmé Solo was born in 8 ABY to Princess Leia Organa and General Han Solo. Just two of the most famous people in the galaxy. She is the little of Ben Solo. During her childhood, her parents were often absent and it was usually just her brother and her. She was a quiet child, always hiding in the library or being with her brother. She started learning how to fly when was six. Her father taught her. As a child, due to her parents busy lives, she was left with feelings of abandonment, but to less extreme level than her brother, as she always was a more solitary person. 

Teenage years
Her teenage years were the hardest for her parents. She had a long rebel phase. She was tired of being kept on Chandrila and she wanted to explore the galaxy. She used to take a starship and travel from planet to planet during the night. Some member of the Senate would see her and report to her mother. That caused huge arguments with her mother. One day, when she was 14, when her father was visiting, she decided to go with him because she needed to see somthing new. After a lot of discussions, her mother allowed her to go with her father. She left for a year and she was happy. When she came back to Chandrila, she was happy to stay there, as her travelling thirst was quenched, for now. During that time she kept in touch with her brother, and they only grew closer despite being far away from each other. She was starting o notice that her parents absence was taking it's toll on her brother more than he was letting them know. So when she came back, she made sure to be as much as she could with him. When her mom decided to sent him to their uncle, she begged her not to sent him away because it would be worse than if he stayed with her. But her mother didn't listen to her, and she sent Ben away. And then the inevitable happened, he turned to the Dark Side.

Now...
After Ben's betrayal, she was devastated, how could her brother do that. She would spend all her days crying in her room. She was starting to hate Snoke and the First Order but also the Force because if Ben hadn't been force-sensitive, none of this would have happened. Shortly after that, her mother created the Resistance. Kalena wanted to help bring the First Order down, and her brother home, started to train to become a high ranked officer. She became a lieutenant in a few weeks, because the only real training she had to do was physically. She now works as a military strategist and a droid conceptor. She imagines droids that could be useful for her tactical plans and then she sends her ideas to the people who are actually building the droids. She is also an occasional pilot.

▪ Kalena and Leia get along really well. They had arguments during Kalena's teenage years, like every mom and her child, but now they work together really well and they are little to no arguments between them. Leia is the only person Kalena listens to when she give an order.
 

▪ Han Solo | Father | 8/10

▪ Kalena and her dad get along well, when they see each other. When she was a child she suffered from not seeing her father enough but the year they spent together on board of the Falcon, definetely brought them closer. Her father is always now that Ben is not there anymore so they only talk via holo-messages.
 

▪ Ben Solo/Kylo Ren | Older Brother | 7/10

▪ Ben and her used to be inseparables. Where one went the other followed. She always looked up to her big brother. They used to talk for hours while watching the stars. Now that he turned they don'thave any contacts anymore but Kalena is sure that if she could talk to him she could make him come back home.
 

▪ Luke Skywalker | Uncle | 7/10

▪ Kalena hasn't seen her uncle Luke a lot during her life but the times she saw him he was really kind with her. He used to show her force tricks because she found it really funny and cool. Now that he exiled himself she doesn't know where he is and she doesn't have contacts with him anymore.
 

▪ Chewbacca | Uncle | 10/10

▪ Kalena loves her uncle Chewie. When she was little, she used to sit on his shoulders or she used to be carried around on his back. She always said that her uncle Chewie gave the best hugs because he is so fluffy.

friends — 

▪ Autumn Celchu | Best Friends/Older Sister figure | 10/10

▪ Autumn is like an older sister for Kalena. Having grown up with her and Ben, they also became friends. They have a similar personality and what they like to do is having Sass Battles to see who can be the most sarcastic and sassy out of the two. People enjoy seeing them do that. After Ben's betrayal they comforted each other and they grew even closer.

▪ Kalena and Poe get along really well. Kalena always jokes about how she is friends with Poe just because she likes to spend times with BB8. They have that little competition on who is the best pilot, and usually it ends up with the two of them doing things that Leia definetely disapprove of. Poe kinds of fills the void left by Ben when he turned to the dark side, eventhough he will never replace her brother. Kalena cares a lot about him.
